GOD MAKES NO DEMANDS!

Posted by Chuck White

Fr. Pius Sammut, the archNeocatechist for Guam, insists that God demands nothing from us.  I wonder if Fr. Luis Camacho was conscious of any of God's demands when he took an altar girl to a secluded beach park in Guam to...Read more.

  2. The recent report of a Eucharistic miracle in Kearns, Utah is a confirmation of our Catholic belief of the Real Presence of Our Lord. NEOs, please wake up and realize that the KIKO belief and heretical treatment of the Mass is wrong -- specifically where you are being taught that Christ is present in the communion bread only when your community is together. NEOs, if you claim to be Catholic, now is the time to return to the true teachings of the Catholic church.

  3. That miracle in Utah has yet to be confirmed, it could very well be a hoax, but even so, a Monsignor from the diocese there said:

"Whatever the outcome of the investigation, we can use this time to renew our faith and devotion in the greatest miracle — the Real Presence of Jesus Christ that takes place at every Mass."

  4. The miracles of the Holy Eucharist has long been experienced and approved in many places in the history of the Church, for the purposes of Christ stiring the faith of luke warm catholics.

Consider however the words of our Lord to St. Thomas who insisted in seeing the wounds of Christ before believing that he has risen from the dead. "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." Jn 20:29

  5. Faith without works is a dead faith because the lack of works reveals an unchanged life or a spiritually dead heart.

  6. It is the neocatechumenal ideology: you do nothing, God does everything. All for free.
And while years pass, you will be asked for giving up your friends, your relatives and family (only if they are not in the Way, of course), your hobbies, your time, your money...I insist: not for Chuch, but for the Way.
Thank God it was for free! They removed even your dignity.

  7. So what happens to the gift of free will that God endows the person with, This free will inherently carries a responsibility? Matt 25:31-46 admonishes us that our judgment will be premised on feeding the hungry, giving water to the thirsty, taking care of the sick, visiting the imprisoned. These corporal works of Mercy surely requires a response from us towards our neighbor. I choose to follow the words of my Savior over Pius anyday.

  8. Really, Pius Sammut? God makes no demands? What make you of Christ's demand "Be ye perfect, as My Heavenly Father is perfect!" That's a tall order: to be perfect! But because we can't be perfect, shall we make light of Christ's command/demand? - jrsa (12/2/15)

    1. By their logic, God gave the Way to the Church, and to not give in to what the Way demands is against God. But wait a minute, God does not demand, so anything the Way demands is not from God. Kool-Aid anyone?

  9. If God demands nothing from us, then who is Pius to demand that faithful give of their worldly goods to the NCW before they are allowed to go to the next stage in their catechesis, or why does Apuron demand that certain priest join the NCW of find another Bishop to accept them, or deny ordination of deacon candidates if they did not walk in the way. I say that Pius is speaking from his ass as he does so frequently in many cases.
