According to this PDN article, “The archdiocese was unable to answer when Wadeson was incardinated, or officially given authority, to be a priest on Guam.” Does the archdiocese not maintain documentation for matters like incardination? I’m not sure if the archdiocese is (1) extremely incompetent in terms of record keeping, (2) trying to maintain the shroud of secrecy that has been characteristic since the removal of Fr. Paul Gofigan on 16 July 2013, or (3) telling a bald-faced lie. Really? Nobody was able to ascertain when Fr. John Howard Wadeson was incardinated here on Guam?
Here we are 12 years after the "sex abuse" scandal and have to go through it all over again because of a leader who chose to think of himself over the people he is supposed to lead... to bad how sad. Did he really incardinate Wadeson without a letter of standing from his previous bishop? I seriously doubt it.
For the multiple choice, Mary Lou, my answer is no. 3.
