  1. Archbishop gave canned homily. However worked in about the gossipers. Hopefully that's not how he sees our request for transparency. That's what it's all about.

    1. Gossipers? A man who implies that one of his priests is in a homosexual relationship behind his back? Gossipers? Gossipers? A request for the same financial transparency that bishops have had the courtesy to give their dioceses around the world? Gossipers? He continues to fall like lighting.

    3. Looked like a very small man with a big, big, tall mitre ...monotone sermon. NOT sincere and not preaching!

    4. Five more acolytes from RMS. Moving right along a a very fast pace. VERY sorry to say, the photo of the men does not say JOY. I feel sorry for them. It would be so much better if it were a real celebration for our Archdiocese. Sad situation. Guess they look perseccuted.

    5. Seriously, that photograph says alot. They should have chosen a better shot than that. Nice KIKO Vessels though. Donated, I'm guessing.

    8. Thank you Anon 6:49 I found it and I agree with the above comments. There seems to be no JOY!

    9. I wouldn't read to much into the picture of the acolytes. Just pray they wake up. Meanwhile, read all you want into the picture of the flower laden altar, er I mean table.

  4. Diana can't be any more tone deaf than she is: ("And here you are asking why the Archbishop has an expensive and luxurious car????? Do you think that God will reward His chosen ones and His children with small, pathetic, and worthless things??") of course we don't Diana; a hand made Rolls if we can get it for him. Is she kidding us? Or WHAT???

    1. What's more interesting is the identity of the woman who bought it for him. And some of the other "gifts"...

    2. There she goes again! Diana, really. Your comments about the car are so ignorant. The point is most people here dont have that kind of income. Your famous quote of the day: "So, the Archbishop has a luxury car." P.S. the Chancery has been remodeled in the last 20 years.

      Delete
    3. As mentioned elsewhere, it's not the car so much as where the money came from.

      Delete
    4. Brand of car not important. Rather where did the money for the car come from.

    3. Diana is tooo slow to realize her intermittent blogging is giving her away. Diana, forget it. Just concentrate on the matters at hand. Urgent matters, at that. NO comments, but she has a translator and blog song. Pathetic, Diana. Where's Bernie? Can't she fill in for you while you are otherwise occupied?

    4. How did Tiim know about a visitor on July 7th at 4.17pm . Chancery under gag order at the time. Since last Wednesday things on the hill were on tight lockdown. Seminarians were first to be silenced. Priests silenced. Fontleroy appeared. Then lock down. Now word is apostolic Delegate.

  10. I posted this to Diana's blog- "Why the concern about money" (let's see if she publishes it)

Diana, unlike the NCW who don't even know where the money goes- the "Real World" people do. Ask any finance council member of ANY parish and they will GLADLY tell you- - the parish assessments are KILLING them. Cathedral owes almost hundreds of thousands in insurance costs to Calvo's Insurance and other companies. Power bills, utility bills, etc. St. Thomas Aquinas is in financial ruin and will be closing down. Malojloj Retreat House would have been a great place to house and invite the Poor Clares to minister but what did the Archbishop do- waste more money and now it sits idle. Parishes are swimming in debt. Churches need repairs, cemeteries are broke and only the rich can afford to be buried there- the lists goes on-and the NCW/RMS keeps on thriving? The people aren't giving cause the failed leadership of the Archbishop. Poor financial decisions, mismanagement and a lack of concern. He will single handedly destroy the Catholic Church of Guam. The secrets to sell Tumon parish, guilt trip a family to donating the land, or the easement issues of St. Andrew Kim- shall I go on? The sad part is you ALREADY know everything I posted- you just pretend it isn't there. If you knew my name and what I did for a living you would be shaking in your shoes cause the truth hurts and we are coming for you. See you at the meeting.

    1. You were told so many times the archbishop is destroying the Archdiocese. Only tiim has acted to bring this to your attention. Guam needs to act fast and be called to action people power. Fail to act now the archdiocese will sink into Mariana's trench.

    2. @8:43 you're mean to a young woman in her early twenties named Diana. How do you know she doesnt have a vocation to the Poor Clares? Interesting, we don't have Poor Clares here.

    3. 5:00pm. Poor Clares? Guess her clergy family member didn't think opening a convent for this order was necessary back when. She can always go to the Mo in NJ. Heard the weather is just like Guam!

  14. Maybe we should ask for a financial statement from the NCW too. As per Diana the NCW knows where their money is going too...AUDIT PLEASE!

    Dear Anonymous at 10:04 a.m.,

We know where the NCW money is going. You are not in the NCW and don't contribute anything to the NCW anyway. The members of the NCW knows where their money is going because it is being announced.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. According to its statute, the NCW is an entity of the parish which hosts it. This makes the money it collects subject to the parish. It is not authorized to distribute that money autonomously.

      Delete
    2. Okay, so why is it not published separately in the parish bulletin as NCW collection! Parish entity? I doubt they even turn it in, at least not for the Cathdral!
