ANOTHER LIE AT ARCHAGANA.ORG

The Archbishop has posted something called "Report from Deloitte and Touche" on its website. The posting gives the average reader the impression that this is an official and final report from D & T. It is not. It was a letter, dated January 8, 2014, advising the Archbishop of discrepancies that needed to be addressed as part of D & T's review of the Archdiocese's finances.

As addressed today on the steps of the Cathedral, those discrepancies have already been addressed, with only one to be addressed. In fact, in a letter dated June 26, 2014, only a few weeks ago, Archbishop Apuron, in a letter to Msgr. James, recognized in writing that "corrective action" had already been taken in order to prepare for the June 30, 2013 financial statements, and gave Msgr. James till August 15, 2014 to submit the financial reports for their fiscal year ending June 30, 2014. Msgr. James was fired on July 25.

  1. They just keep spilling out the lies! An audit cannot be completed because of discrepancies throughout the entire Archdiocese! Why can't you people on the hill provide a financial report? Are you busy working on numbers that will make you look good? Pathetic!

  3. Well Tim, how are these people going to justify to goods. Boxes were taken from the office at the Cemetery. Who is to say that receipts were not destroyed by the three on the hill so that they can say See, we told you so!

Deacon Kim, you had better not be a part of this trashing of records. If you are, then remove your title of Deacon because you do not deserve it.

  5. The Archbishop asked Deloitte for a report on the status of the Cemeteries. I sure would like to see what they have asked for and gotten for the rest of the Archdiocese. Let's see the report on the Chancery, on the parishes, on the seminary, on the CSS. My guess is we are going to see a lot of the same "accounting" issues there. So the question remains...
Tony - why did you wait so long to take such decisive action against Monsignor James?

  6. If Deloitte and Touche had such big problems with Msgr James, why did they tell the Archbishop the Cemeteries were ready for the June 30, 2014 review, and ask to have those documents by August 15.
Obviously, by his letter to Msgr James, the Archbishop had no significant issues with the Cemeteries administration as of June 26 when he wrote the letter. Why did he suddenly change his mind on July 25 and not wait to see if they were able to meet the August 15 deadline. Something just doesn't make sense.
These irrational decision and rash moves are very troubling to an outside observer trying to figure out what is going on in the Church.

    1. They needed something to distract the people from the Wadeson fiasco. Brilliant idea as I mentioned before. Alas, they blamed the financial mismanagement on the wrong person. On the People's Priest. That was not a brilliant idea. Stop this stupidity. Another lie will not correct a lie. Only truth will correct a lie. Don't worry, Archbishop, we can handle the truth! Just be truthful to us for once. No more lies. You are just sinking deeper and deeper. You know, if becomes any deeper, right? You know what's down there, I am sure.

This notice amounts to nothing more than a piece of paper with a name on it of someone who has declining respect in the community. Unfortunately, we can longer take any statement of archbishop apuron as truth.

Every day Apuron reveals his soul to the world. No integrity in his life.

  9. Change your advisors Archbishop. They are obviously seeing to your doom. Get out of the Way and come back to the true Church. Like Mr. Rivera stated, it's never too late to apologize and redeem yourself. Start building the bridges and stop the division and destruction. Reinstate Msgr. James so the job can be done right!
