REALLY?

Twenty years Msgr. James ran the place and never had to do this. But give it to these guys for a couple months and the place falls apart. Reminds me of corporate raiders who take over a successful company which, under their management, falls apart. They failed to understand that it wasn't the business that was successful, it was the people who made the business. Too bad. What else will they take over and destroy?

And this sign is in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, no less!

  1. This is so funny! Asking for donations from people who attend the 5:45 AM mass who are not even from the parish! To be honest, the givers are gone! All Msgr James had to do was ask and the donations were given without hesitation.

Here is a suggestion..put the stupid sign up during the ordination this coming Saturday. Have the NEOCATS put their dirty money in the box! Better yet, send a memo to Giuseppe...I'm sure he can fork out the dough the way we having be forking out for HIS PRESBYTERS!

Oh, but isn't Msgr. James a "mismanager of funds," Tim!?!

Now, the whole island and all of the world can see that this is a big, fat, blazing LIE----directly from Apuron's, Quitugua's, Cristobal's and the rest of the NEOS' mouths!!!

You wanted the Cathedral, now you can't upkeep it. You think this cash cow was going to run itself? HA! It would have, if it wasn't under your Administration, NEOS!

Never, in my many many many years at the Cathedral, were we ever asked to provide for the Church's maintenance! Then they have the shamelessness to put it up, like a poster? Not surprising at all, because NEOS are lazy, sleazy and shameless.

Efforts were made to raise funds, not just asking for money, straight out. Flex some muscles, NEWCathedral Administration, do some bake sales, wash some cars, raise the funds yourselves. We have to tithe, blindly, every week already! You won't even show us where our money goes...

Whenever the Church needed to be repainted, or repairs were necessary, Msgr. James had them done; with the funds that are already coming out of our tithes. We, the Parishioners, actually gave more, deliberately, because we want to help more, from our hearts, because we know that Msgr. James and the Staff work HARD!!! If more monies were needed, then he spearheaded projects to make more money! He stretched his muscles and got friends and families to help make it happen, most times, for free!!!

LAZY BONES, move your d*mn bones, work those bones, because we, UNSALTED, DRY, BONES will NOT give you the satisfaction and let you SUCK out our juices any longer. Got that?

    You people are disgusting!

  3. This is so cheap. How can the cathedral suddenly be without money for operation costs.

  4. Oh dear Apuron money problems as well. But the least of your worries worse to come.

  5. Maybe this is why they initiated the Jubilee year with the plenary indulgences to be gained ONLY by attending masses at the cathedral-as an excuse to ask for more money!

  6. This is really so SAD! What happened with the Tourist Donation Box money in the Church? Is it even published on the Sunday bulletin collection report, the way Msgr James was doing every Sunday? I know for a fact the Tourist Donation Box per week total is between $600 to $800. It's really a shame & sad, well this is history that the new administration of the Cathedral has to show that they don't have the expertise & management skills that Msgr James possess.

    1. Beginning to wonder if this new administration is stealing money from the cathedral.

  7. Yes, archbishop is still ranting today about his desire to be appointed +Anthony Cardinal Apuron of Guam. He plans this in the next six years by ordaining 100 priests for the archdiocese and sending to mission lands. According to the archbishop pope Francis observed the growing numbers of priests for Guam and informed him Guam will become the pacific cardinal see over Fiji. Doubt this is true at all, just another lie of tony.

  8. Archbishop Apuron divided this local church causing growing disunity. To allow him to continue the disunity of Guam is unacceptable. Archdiocese requires a new spiritual leader to govern our island church. Archbishop Apuron no longer can lead the community.

  11. And the this NEO DRIVEN request is from who? No name thinking leads me to assume 2 things:

1, The request is going to be thrown out to the public and we will drop what we are doing and donate? Oh yes, it is voluntary BUT EXPECTED, what we are sacrificing daily in our lives by fasting and serving others as true Catholics, they (whoever is asking for this "donation") want to suck it out of us outright after the hostile takeover and do not want to put a name to who is asking. Very typical assumption of the NEO-NUTS that what they will ask for will be given to them on a silver platter using "God will provide" as their trumpet for this request.

2, Are the NEOs really thinking that they are above putting a name to their plea for assistance? Leads one to believe this is a pompous action and another way of saying "YOU MUST OBEY!".

RECOMMENDATION TO BASILICA PASTOR MONSIGNOR DAVID QUITUGUA AND THE REST OF THE NEO-NUTS: Find your NEO-NUT squirrels that will gather your nuts for you!

First you insult the us by slandering the person who had done so much for the Basilica with your hostile takeover and now you want us to support that cause? Not sure if you are stupid, dumb, or just outright indifferent of what you are doing to our flagship Church, what was supposed to be OUR BASILICA, not the NEO BASILICA! Get real and get a life, don't try to steal our lives or shape it into your NEO-NUT way of cult worship. NOTE TO NEO SELF (whoever you are): GET REAL AND GET A LIFE! DON'T TRY TO STEAL OR SHAPE OURS!

ANY FLYERS? I would like to take some and do what they did during the Protestant Reformation in the 1600s, burn them in the incinerator or 50 gallon drum just like Protestant bibles were being burned by the Catholics during the Reformation. I best get a fire permit first, huh? Go figure.

  12. Do Not Be Afraid, the NEO NUTS think WE are stupid, dumb, or just outright indifferent. As long as AAA is at the helm, the division and hurt within the Guam Catholic Community will continue.

    1. I don't think the NEO-NUTS think this way. After talking with some of them, the feel the KNOW that we are stupid, dumb, and indifferent. They are in essence, Gnostic at its peak! And yes, as long as AAA is in place, this will continue. It is already starting at where Fr. Camacho is stationed as Pastor for Merizo. New NCW Group forming there...Good luck there in Malesso!

    2. 3:58, seeing as this post's picture is that of a sign saying, "Please donate for maintenance," and the fact that collection has decreased dramatically in a matter of months, do you think it's wise of you to be mocking a donor and their "$5.00 contribution"?

  15. Anyone notice Adrian was in his car the whole time at the mass in Pigo? He decides to come out when mass is over.

  16. TO ANON 3:58 PM: You are a typical NEO-NUT, frowning at even a $5.00 donation! Don't you have something worth contributing to this site? As our Universal Church invites all, this blog does as well. To laugh at even a small donation is like laughing at the women who put her last two coins while others gave their "extras", not only what they had left. What about you? What do you have?

  17. @ 8:53PM good point. I guess the Neocats can mimic what we give, but in all honesty I never see the neocats put in the basket at the cathedral especially for special occasions. They seem to only give for their necessities and nothing more.

So 3:58PM, unless you are willing to give your home away to the Giuseppe's then you have the right to talk, but in the meantime shut your mouth. This I know, there are a few elderly people who have already willed their land to the KIKOLITIST corporation!
