WELL, EDIVALDO (AKA DIANA) POSTED IT

  1. This is Diana's Title in her post where this Ernie can be found. Apparently she agrees with the fact the Kiko is a prophet and so are we.

    Everyday Prophets In Our Midst

One commenter who was walking in the Way called Kiko Arguello a "prophet." I disagreed with this anonymous person. However, after much discussion with the anonymous poster, I conceded. This is one of the reasons why I favor honest dialogue and free expression. One can actually learn from another but only by listening to what the other person was saying.

At any rate, I listened to what the anonymous poster who was walking in the Way said and actually found nothing wrong with his/her statements. He/she was able to point out in the Bible where it says that we are called to be prophets, so I conceded. My love for scripture had taught me that Church doctrine never contradicts sacred scripture, so I conceded by telling the anonymous poster that he/she is correct. Today, I found this article from the National Catholic Reporter dated July 12, 2012. It is a homiliy given by a Catholic priest in Michigan. The homily is worth reading:

    1. By our Baptism, we are all called to be priests, prophets, and kings. However, we do not go around titling ourselves or each other as such. I think we all know the difference between our baptismal call and how neo's regard Kiko. False prophets are many, the sad part is that we have a bishop who follows one.

  2. Is this character denying the divinity of Jesus? I know the Igelsia Ni Kristo and Islam view Jesus as a "prophet or messenger of God"....but Kiko being a parallel to Ezekiel, Isaiah, Moses, Abraham, not to even mention the parallel with Jesus....what on earth? Kiko speaks for God??? I had some ill feelings towards these people before, but that has turned to fear and loathing. They are the version of modern day Gnostics. 2000 years of silence? It never ends....

  3. By gosh, Ernie! I am not surprised anymore of what he is saying. I am still kinda blown away by the boldness of "Ernie's gospel", as someone called this, but I at least start to see the direction he is taking. This direction is following letter by letter the prescription of Arguello.

Ernie and Kiko should not say anything about modernity. Arguello is not representing modernity in the Catholic Church. Modernity has much more to do with social issues, with making justice on earth for everyone with equity, than turning back the clock of history and falling backwards into the spirit of Old Testament heroes like Abraham. I seriously recommend NeoCats to study the Letter to the Galatians a bit so that they may learn a few things from St Paul regarding bondage to the Law or our Lord Jesus' relation to Abraham.

Seriously, is Ernie a theologian talking like this? Because what he says is heavy, extremely heavy on the soul of the believer. We believe in the Holy Trinity, the God in Three Persons. God is more than the just the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. For us traditional Catholics, Jesus Christ is God. He cannot be a "prophet" only, because he is divine person. Just like the Holy Spirit, that was sent by Jesus Himself. It is His Holy Spirit. I will pray for you, Ernie. Also pray for all those lay NeoCat people who were misled by a wicked scheme like you.

  4. With the advent of the Christ, there was no more need for prophets. The OT prophets were given to us by God to point to the Son. The Son is the fulfillment of all the prophecies. He is the fulness of revelation. That's why there are no prophets in the NT and that is also why any religion who claims a prophet is a different religion than ours.

  5. I would not go there Ernie and proclaim Kiko as a prophet. Prophets in in the context of the Jewish tradition/s are, as Rabbi Heschel argues for the view that Hebrew prophets as receivers of the "Divine Pathos", of the wrath and sorrow of God over his nation that has forsaken him. In this view, prophets do not speak for God so much as they remind their audience of God's voice for the voiceless, the poor and oppressed.
Prophecy is the voice that God has lent to the silent agony, a voice to the plundered poor, to the profane riches of the world. It is a form of living, a crossing point of God and man. God is raging in the prophet's words.
I have yet to hear in all the years i have been with the Way, Kiko to speak about social justice issues, liberation theology, the suffering of the masses, racial discrimination, gender and sexual discrimination in the church and workplace.

  6. Tim, I really do wonder what is happening. NCW priests seem not to believe in the real presence of the Lord in the Eucharistic. Respect during the mass is non existent they talk laugh all through the consecration. Question their intention to act according to the intention of the church in the performing of their sacraments. Serious question as to if the sacraments of a presbyter are valid based on intention. Same with marriages may not even be valid. In fact if you were marred by a presbyter on island best to get the marriage re blessed by a catholic Priest.

    1. I am fairly certain that even if the priest does not intend what the church intends, or even if the priest is not validly ordained, that OUR intention to do what the church intends, regardless of the intention or lack of one on the part of the priest (or fake priest), incurs validity. However, with such questions, it is better to avoid the sacraments with a neo priest altogether. However, given Apuron's agenda, we may not have that choice soon.

    2. Truly confused on this post from Ernie!

Wow!...Kiko is a prophet? Says who? You Ernie? Yes upon Baptism, we are all called to be Priest, Prophet and King.

Not sure by what right(s) the NEONUTS have to call Kiko a prophet. The only prophet I see in Kiko is the PROFIT he makes from all the trash collection he gets a kickback from. Other than that, yes, I can say he is for PROFIT, but not a prophet.

And as for the Cardinal or Bishops that endorse Kiko Arguello as a prophet, you must also be sharing in his PROFITS from the trash collection.

      Get real KIKO-NUTS!

  7. Part of the conditions for receiving Plenary Indulgence is to attend Mass at the Cathedral and go to confession and receive Holy Communion. Masses and confessions at the Cathedral are offered by Neo ordained priests so we may not have a choice in this matter.

    1. Confession and Communion do not have to be received at the Cathedral. However, if you want your penance to be to attend a neo catechesis, then have at it.

  9. This is it - right out of the horse's mouth: an admission that the NCW truly believes and teaches that Kiko Arguelles is a prophet, right up the ranks with Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Daniel, and even Moses and Abraham. Next steps: Kiko is High Priest; then Kiko is King. (Three titles of Christ: Priest, Prophet, and King). Final step: Kiko is God! WHAT NONSENSE; WHAT THRASH; WHAT AUDACITY! So if any Neo ever says or alludes that they are not being taught that Kiko is their prophet, call him/her a liar! Quote Ernie's admission.

Ernie's theology and apologetics are so wacky that they do not deserve a scholasticlly-written and documented response - just a few jabs here and there would do! John the Baptist heralded the LAST of the prophets, Jesus Christ, who came to FULFILL the law and the prophets (Mt 5:17-20) -- or did he forget that 2000 years later would come a Kiko Arguelles?

If Ernie's theology is to be the basis of the homilies of the recently ordained "priests", God save the Roman Catholics who attend their Masses and listen to their sermons. If Ernie's theology is to be the basis of the homilies of the recently ordained "priests", God save the Roman Catholics who attend their Masses and listen to their sermons. Ooops; sorry; final jab: They do not say Mass, which is the non-bloody sacrificial enactment of the Sacrifice of the Cross; they festively celebrate the Last Supper – thus they sit and dine when they receive Communion.

  10. One would think, after reading Ernie’s post, that in the privacy of their homes, a significant number of members of “the Way” teach their children that Kiko is a Prophet of biblical stature. Perhaps in the manner of like the Latter Day Saint (Mormon) families with their prophet Joseph Smith. This is the “meme” that I was referring to in my post on the topic, which you can read here: http://thoughtfulcatholic.com/?page_id=43071. Ernie confirms it marvelously, and it’s very frightening.

And that’s not all that he confirms. His statement that “We need a new prophet after 2000 years of silence to fill the gap.” reminds me of the emptiness of Kiko’s Timeline of Church History (http://thoughtfulcatholic.com/?page_id=39463). That in his eyes, nothing much happened until the Second Vatican Council and he (Kiko) arrived on the scene.

  11. So scary to read. This is my fear of the Neo's and the influence on people. It seems so believable and they say they find it all in the Bible. Well, the Johovah Witness disciples come around and quote the Bible on me all the time. They sound correct too. Why? Because the Bible is taken out of context and the "Whole Salvation Story" is bypassed. Jesus is not a prophet, he is GOD. He is the "I AM". He is one person of the Trinity. Jesus himself tells us that he established the Church on Peter and the authority of Peter and that the Holy Spirit (the 3rd Person of the Trinity) will be there to guide the Church. Many modern people are moved by the Holy Spirit and in this modern world there are many considered as great leaders and great models of the teachings of Jesus Christ. But to consider one or the other as a Prophet? Remember St. John the Baptist who said, "I must decrease now" when he was speaking of the fact that he saw and Baptized Jesus. Jesus established the Papacy. Jesus taught us and reminded us often in His own words about each of our responsibility to be disciples and guardians for our neighbors as well as ourselves. Each of us teach each other and for those who lead another stray, their sin is worse than those who did not know. Kiko has the gift of gab. Powerful leaders have the gift of gab, how else do you think they were able to lead and direct. Not always correctly, which is why we have many joining ISIS, Hitler's regime, etc. I always remind people who are amazed that Eve (of Adam and Eve), gave it all up for a simple apple and was convinced by a serpent (snake). Well, the snake had the gift of gab and was quite charming and convincing. So, Eve listened and followed. And we all know what happened next don't we. Thank you for listening. Sharon O'Mallan

  12. Ernie defends his KIKO PROPHET:

    ErnieNovember 12, 2014 at 10:50 AM
Jungle people try to make fun of what I wrote. Too bad for them! They should at least read the Catechism of the Catholic Church! Read the CCC please:

    1. Abraham is the spiritual father of all faithful. He is the father in spiritual sense only because he cannot be biological father. His real descendants are the Jews, including Jesus. But we are the spiritual.

146 Abraham thus fulfills the definition of faith in Hebrews 11:1: "Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen":7 "Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness."8 Because he was "strong in his faith", Abraham became the "father of all who believe".9

    2. Jesus is part of the people of covenant, the descendants of father Abraham. He is incorporated by circumcision. How beautiful!

527 Jesus' circumcision, on the eighth day after his birth,209 is the sign of his incorporation into Abraham's descendants, into the people of the covenant. It is the sign of his submission o the Law210 and his deputation to Israel's worship, in which he will participate throughout his life. This sign prefigures that "circumcision of Christ" which is Baptism.211

    3. Abraham's faith was purified. Purified by mental anguish and suffering, like burning as gold. All who do not have Abraham's faith are not purified, are not adult but childish. I tell you brother if you are not like Abraham, then you have to convert. Otherwise you remain an idolator just like your ancestors were.

2572 As a final stage in the purification of his faith, Abraham, "who had received the promises,"13 is asked to sacrifice the son God had given him. Abraham's faith does not weaken ("God himself will provide the lamb for a burnt offering."), for he "considered that God was able to raise men even from the dead."14 And so the father of believers is conformed to the likeness of the Father who will not spare his own Son but will deliver him up for us all.15 Prayer restores man to God's likeness and enables him to share in the power of God's love that saves the multitude.16

It is easier to mock the teaching of the Church than listening. But don't you think you lose your salvation when you mock the authority of the Teaching Office? The Catechism of Kiko follows the footsteps of Jesus! Jesus was a great teacher according to the Bible, with great authority, so why don't you listen to Him? Because He was a son of Abraham? Why don't you listen to Kiko? Because he is a prophet of our time? Pray that your rejection of the truth would not turn your soul bitter and sour. Come to your senses, listen to the truth of the Church and of Kiko.

    1. There is so much to rebuke here that I am drawn to try and do it. Luckily I am at work and don't have the time to do it and am really hoping one who is better versed than me will respond to you. I even pulled out my Catechism of the Catholic Church, but then decided to finish my work here first. Also, Jesus is the New Covenant. Everything spoken of in the Old Testament is fullfilled in Jesus. sorry but I think I need to add you to the list of people to pray for, (?Ernie)

Joseph Smith believed himself to be a prophet and people followed him. Kiko as stated by Ernie is their prophet and people follow him..so you now figure it out!!!!!

  13. WHAT!?!?!?!? More confusion and more to be misled by those that claim they are someone that they are not. Is our church that divided?!?!? Or are we just being led like animals to the slaughter house??? I am losing faith in our leaders. I thought that we are one as a faith but it looks like they are those that consider themselves a prophet or are just making a profit. What is the work coming to?

  14. It is truly frightening knowing many, if not most, of the CCD teachers are NCW. Most of us adult Catholics are well-grounded in our faith. Most of us will continue to cherish the real Catholic
Church, its teachings and practices. But many of our children will be easily confused and brainwashed if we can't drive the NCW out.

  16. To Agnes: Yes, this part may be true. It is really up to the Pastor of the Parish to approve the proper CCD curriculum that should be put into practice. As much as the NEONUTS think they are superior in teaching the CCC or outright Theology, they are sorely misrepresenting a lot of the entire meaning of what a CCD instructor should be doing.

I am thankful that I am in great company with our Confirmation Catechists that choose to implement LIFE TEEN. These are people who are not just teachers by trade and vocation, they are also very seasoned veterans when it comes to imparting knowledge in various parts of our Catholic Faith. Thank you to all of those NON-NEO CCD instructors that continue to teach what is supposed to be taught by the entrusted Catholic Faithfuls that influence today's youths. God bless you all!

And if I do hear a NEONUT say some other babble regarding the CCD, RCIA, or the Confirmation formation, I have made it a point to follow the Christian teaching and speak with them in private before we are dragged before the "courts" that will determine our Faithful outcome.

Parents, get educated!...Do not let your children be brainwashed by the NEONUT babble and get them on the right track of CCD, RCIA, Confirmation Theology as taught by our Bible, the CCC, and the Magisterium. If you are not sure how to go about this, ask a NON-NEO Pastor. They will know how to guide you properly. Stay guarded!
