  2. The Case of the Missing Search Box

I know it's off-topic, but it's my lunch hour, I'm in a hurry, I'm trying to do some searches and wouldn't you know, the search box is missing over at Umatuna.org! It probably was inadvertently forgotten during a recent web site upgrade, but it's causing me "tremendous suffering", as Fr. Pius would say. I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

In the meantime, there's a work-around. I just went to Umatuna.org/?s. Now I can search for things like "Tagle Erratum", "John C. Toves", and "Santiago Mission Japan" with ease. No more suffering!

  4. Kind of sad that the statements.."all expressed excitement and fear" means nothings. These four missionaries could and should have been interviewed about being sent on a mission! Then again, guess the AAA or whomever didn't want the public to know! I am sure that certain people in the NCW "in group" knows. As for me, I too decided to look up these priest and none are even visible on the net regarding their mission!

    1. Confusing isn't it..is his name Edwin Pius Sammut, or Pius Edwin Sammutt?

Amazon says book written by Efwin Pius Sammut, yet a short literary writing says written by Pius Edwin Sammut..

  8. Mr. Perez and Mr. Lujan both bring up a lot of good points. I was also thinking about how in the U.S. the mass changed on the first Sunday of Advent of 2011. It was well announced and suppose to be universal throughout the Roman Catholic church in the U.S. and really any English speaking Roman Catholic Church. (Except for the NCW, I would assume.)

It also seems strange that for just about every Catholic seminary in the U.S. you can look up the courses the seminarians must take as well as just about everything else about their education (much like the medical schools) except for Redemptoris Mater seminaries which tell very little.
The lack of transparency is bothering.

  9. Money, money, money, is what the NCW members say we all talk about. Let's talk about it. I do not remember if the audit report from the Archidocese listed where the money from all the land rentals go. For example, the old Catholic Medical Center I. Agana is being rented. Where does this money go to? How is it spent? How about the lots In Tumon? Where is the money? Who sees the money? Money Money Money, who has the Money? And to think we go and ask for grants as being a mission island? My, my...someone has the money. Someone is spending the money! Dig, dig, dig.

    1. let us not forget the catholic extension grant for poor rural American diocese. Apuron receives substantial funds from rentals but where does this money Go?

    2. Rental money supports discretionary account of AAA. Not recorded income.

  10. And the Tumon properties such as the beachfront being rented by Guam Reef Hotel for its outdoor bar?
