ROME FIDDLED WHILE AGANA BURNED. IT'S TOO LATE TO MAKE NICE.

As much as we want Rome to do something. WE DON'T WANT THEM TO TREAT US LIKE FOOLS the way Apuron has.

Sadly, one of the great failings of the clericalism of our modern church is what appears to be the prioritizing of saving face over saving souls.

Rome knows that the situation here is irreparable, but Apuron is a bishop, and for better or worse, that makes him a member of the "boy's club".

So while they may talk tough to Apuron privately, they're not going to do anything publicly that would put one of their own in a bad light, even though Apuron has done that very well all by himself.

However, in Apuron's case, the stakes for the Roman power brokers are exponentially higher than with other bishop bad boys.

That's because Apuron is the only bishop in the world who is a Kiko. And his being a Kiko, and his mess of an orange-sucking seminary, especially now with Clerical-xxx-Gate, has brought global attention to the sham that is the Redemptoris Mater Seminary, the Blessed Diego Institute, and the Neocatechumenal Way.

However, as we have seen, Kiko has an enormous amount of power in Rome and he uses it. In fact, Kiko is using it now. And here's how.

First, understand that for Kiko, the Way is more important than any bishop. He'll throw Apuron under the bus when he's done with him, but for now he must use Apuron to save face, his own face (and his back side as well).

Here's how it will happen.

First, Apuron will be ordered to make nice with his clergy. He may even be ordered to restore Fr. Paul and Msgr. James to their posts.

This will happen soon because the news of our public meetings and mounting demonstrations have reached Rome. So they're going to throw us some bones.

I believe such a move would be an insult. It's sort of a typical imperialist attitude of "let them eat cake", as if the people of Guam are some uneducated third-world backwater who will go to sleep once their bellies are satisfied.

Second, they'll get the neos to back off their in-your-face proselytizing in the midst of our Masses. They'll go underground for a bit to "get the natives to back off".

They know, or they've been told, that Guam is a forgiving culture and doesn't like confrontation, so they think these few bones will restore Apuron to some level of decency.

The idea is to prop up Apuron for five more years until - as all bishops are requested to do - offer his resignation. Or, if Apuron needs to be gotten rid of earlier, the "making nice" will make it easier for him to "retire" for reasons of health.

Third, the RMS property will probably be restored to the archdiocese. This is the really big bone that Rome thinks will mollify us. Kiko and Gennarini will be willing to give it back because keeping their power in Rome (and thus the world) is more important than controlling this little piece of real estate.

Plus, it will be of no use to them if they can't get a neo-bishop after Apuron. They will keep trying of course. They have five years. It could even be David the VG or Adrian in spite of the fact that they are severely damaged goods.

Kiko and his boys (and that includes some Kiko-bought cardinals and bishops in Rome) think that we backwater Guamanians will have forgotten all of the current trauma in five years after we have been given our priests and property back and they rehabilitate David and Adrian.

Aside from the fact that their strategy may work, the really sad fact is that Rome can save itself centuries of problems by acting swiftly and publicly NOW and in Guam. A big public smack down of Kiko-ism-gone-wild along with its puppet bishop would send a clear message around the world that would save Rome years of trouble in the future.

But that would mean that the Roman power brokers would actually care more about saving souls than saving face.

However, and just in time, it appears Providence has handed us the precise weapon we need to fight back: xxx-Gate, and more specifically its cover-up.

The Luis Camacho incident embodies and evidences absolutely everything we have been saying about RMS, the Neocatechumenal Way, and its Brother Tony action-puppet, and xxx-Gate is just the tip of the whole orchard of rotten juice-sucking fruit.

This is why Apuron and Pius are desperately trying to make this go away. This is why they shipped Luis off to Uncle Tom's cabin in Saipan within hours of his arrest. This is why there is a sham canonical investigation with a bunch of neo-stooges. This is why Deacon Larry-Boy has to say one thing one day and a different thing the next. This is why they are hiding behind the AG. This is why they are not saying a word and cowering behind the walls of fortress San Ramon.

They are counting on all this dying down in a few weeks just like the public uproar went away after a few token public attempts to defend Fr. Paul and Msgr. James. They've seen us roll up our tents and go home after we got no response from the hill.

So now comes the test. Will you roll up your tents and go home once again? Will the Kiko-Gennarini-Pius-Apuron machine win? Or will the Catholics of Guam dig into the bloody resolve that kept the faith the last time an ugly enemy stomped ashore?

The WHOLE WORLD is watching, waiting, wondering....and hoping.

Message to Rome: You fiddled while Agana burned. It's too late to make nice.

St. Michael the Archangel....

P.S. Don't even try to figure out how I know this. You'd be wrong.

  1. Again, you're right, Tim. Looking at the big picture, Kiko will give in to some concessions on Guam (the ones you stated) in return for MORE POWER IN ROME! And, Rome hopes that the few bones they will throw our way (Restoration of Fr. Paul, etc.) will satisfy us and other problems will not be solved but will fade away into the background.

Unfortunately, I believe that Rome's strategy will work. We are a forgiving people and we do hate confrontations. So, we will sigh with relief (feeling we won!) when we get those bones, still allowing Apuron to be around for a while (we lost!), and go back to our quiet, contented (complacent?) lives. It's like taking out the engine warning light in our car, rather than solving the problem which caused the warning light to go off, in the first place. The problem will still be there.

PROVE ME WRONG, CATHOLICS OF GUAM!! Let us not be content with the few bones Rome will throw our way. Let us not stop until all the existing problems are solved.

    2. Catholics of Guam will continue to fight for their spiritual salvation regardless of who's running the Mother Church. Should the Neos pull out we will still have our challenges. It's just the way it is. God in his infinite wisdom will not hand heaven to us in a silver platter.

Since you don't know history, let me illuminate you. It is a picture of Rome burning. You know: "Neo, er, I mean Nero fiddled while Rome burned." Get it? It's a rather clever allusion actually. 1. Yes, Kiko became powerful as he enjoyed the favors of pope John Paul II during the pope's 26 years as pontiff because he pulled one of the biggest "snow job" in history. He and his minions were there at every turn the pope made, serenading him the second he opened his window in the morning, catering to him 24/7, etc. so it's no wonder the Neo cancer is deeply imbeded in the Vatican. Seducing Apuron into the Neo cult was a piece of cake to them.
We must continue the good fight until we are rid of the Kikos who invaded our island. KIKO IS THE PROBLEM!!

    5. Thank you 6.57am. I believe we have also arrived at a point in history where by our next archbishop of Guam does not need to be a son of Guam. In fact for a few years our church would better be served by a foreign non neo Vatican diplomat. Only way to bring back respect to our church. It is way out of control under Apuron.

  5. The sad reality is that this is more about saving the Neo than it is about responding to the needs of the Catholic Church in Guam. Kiko and Gennarini did not expect this public backlash. They took us for a bunch of dumbed down and docile islanders. So now they have a big PR problem on their hands. Kiko probably doesn't care. His aim is to bring down the church from within anyway. But his cardinal handlers have careers to protect, so they need him to clean this up. So Kiko-Gennarini are trying to extricate themselves from the hell-hole they created, once again using Apuron as their paid-for stooge. Seriously Rome. Seriously.

Anonymous (March 27, 2015 at 4:08 PM), anger is justifiable but I hope that your reference to the "hatred … for Apuron and his minions" is really an indication of intense anger, and not actual hatred.

Someone asked me, in light of my scathing comments about AAA, how I feel whenever I'm in a situation in which Apuron's name is mentioned in prayer — as in the Prayers of the Faithful before the Offertory and the Eucharistic Prayer after the Consecration during Mass. I admitted that, while I am angry at AAA, I have made myself pray for him … maybe that's why I can honestly say that I don't hate him.

If you honestly do hate AAA, please start praying for him; I know from experience you cannot hate someone you pray for. Besides, Scripture tells us that "Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him." (1 John 3;15, RSV-CE)

      God bless you!

  6. The solution that I am putting forth to Rome recommendations that can begin the process of healing in our badly divided Church. The following need to occur.

    A. an immediate appointment of a new Archbishop for Guam. The damage inflicted by Archbishop Apuron on Guam is irreparable.
    B. Close down RMS as a NCW Seminary and sell the asset and the money to be use for the benefit of Archdiocese and for the vocations training on our young men off island. The economic value of this asset is the money that can be generated for the Archdiocese.
    C. Return all NCW parishes to Franciscans or Diocesan clergies. If we are lacking clergies let us revert to importing very able clergies from the Philippines as we have done successfully in the past. NCW clergies should administer exclusively to their Neo brethren’s
    D. Allow NCW Communities to continue to exists but outside our parishes. They are always welcome to our churches, but without their clergies. I understand that the NCW has tons of money, you can use your own funds to build your own churches.
    E. Restore the positions of Monsignor Benavente and Father Gofigan.

These are some and I encourage others to offer other suggestions that can once again bring us stability and peace in our One True Catholic Church.

    1. Well, said Thomas. Certainly we need the appointment of a new Archbishop or administrator from outside the diocese for at least three years to clean up Apuron's dysfunctional mess.

    2. Also, how about a full accounting:
1)of all Church assets and income
2)of all the people on the Archdiocese Payroll, especially, but not limited to, the incardinated priests.
3)of all expenses, especially travel and entertainment.

Maybe others would also like to write in their suggestions.

    3. Rome should immediately clarify exactly what permissions exist for the NCW to vary the actions in the Mass. No ambiguities. No room to allow the NCW to persist in disobedience. Make it clear once and for all - particularly for all the NCW faithful (is that an oxymoron?). Include clarifications on the separate Paschal Vigil. And whether the Statutes intend that the recipient of the NCW remain in the small community ad infinitum.

I am puzzled as to why the more thoughtful members of the NCW haven't harangued the Archbishop to seek these clarifications by now anyway - as he is the best placed by far to have these questions answered by the Holy See.

  7. Tim, thank you for this piece. I stood on the fence for a while...maybe too long. I attended one village meeting just to listen. I must admit that I wasn't convinced but as I read through the documents, the letters, the articles, I couldn't help but ask myself where is Archbishop Apuron in all of this? Why can't he just speak up and say how he's going to address these problems? In fact, I wasn't even expecting that he admit to any of them but at least say that he's going to do something about it. I ask for forgiveness, but he is a coward. He isn't a leader and I wish we can go back in time when Archbishop Flores commanded the attention and respect of our Catholics because he was a genuine leader. A real one. Father Eric Forbes recently posted a picture of Archbishop Flores on his Facebook account and I was nearly brought to tears because I remembered his solemn voice, the voice of a holy man. I know he wasn't perfect. I know Archbishop Apuron isn't perfect, but at least he led the people. Tim, Si Yu'us Ma'ase (thank you) for standing up for us and for speaking for those who still afraid. Thank you to your wife and your 11 kids (correct me if I'm wrong) for allowing you to do this. You are blessed to have them and they are blessed to have you. I'm no longer on the fence when it comes to all of these issues. I'll be there. You can count on me to pray, to stand with you and the Concerned Catholics, and the others who will respond when the call is made. This is an excellent piece again. I hope you can take a snippet of the Archbishop's 25th Anniversary video where he says he wants to be like that John Wayne Character. It's time he rides into the sunset.

Anonymous (March 27, 2015 at 10:20 AM), I don't know which of the 8 CCOG meetings you attended but I'm guessing you were at the Yigo, Agana Hts. or Mangilao meeting since you indicated that you "read through the documents, the letters, the articles …". Those documents were first made available at the 19 March Yigo meeting and offered at the subsequent meetings. Whichever meeting you attended, I'm just glad you were able to get your hands on and read the documents which helped you recognize the need to get off the fence. I pray you will be able to share what you have learned with family and friends and encourage them to attend future meetings.

Although I have followed JW from the earliest days, I have attended 4 CCOG meetings myself. Each meeting has its own unique characteristics and I have learned a little more from each one. I have also met people who have gotten off the fence, like you, or who have been moved to become more involved.

Please keep your eyes open for other CCOG events and join us — and bring your family and friends with you.

      God bless you!

  8. If Rome is more concerned about saving face than saving souls, then why even remain a Catholic? This means Rome is just like any other institution that has ulterior motives and hidden agendas. What faith and hope would the people have if souls truly were not important to them? So Rome is just about photo ops too and making the Holy Father look and sound good? There has to be a greater good and greater hope for the people Christ came into this world for. My reality is - "Who cares about saving the Neo?" Is Rome blind to their evil and just allowing evil to encapsulate us all? Rome is just going to allow all of this to happen? Rome will just allow their bishops to carry out their evil agendas because they are bishops? Rome will just allow priests to continue sexual abuse and committing scandals, because the bishop says it's ok? Then Rome and it's leaders are just as culpable and sinful as Anthony Apuron and Kiko and Adrian and Pius and David and Gennarini! Where is the hope He promised? Where is the "Good News" that Jesus Christ preached?

For those who are quezzy and intimidated on speaking up against the action of Apuron, fear not and take heed to the quotations below. IT IS OUR OBLIGATION TO SPEAK UP AGAINST ANYONE INCLUDING APURON when we see with our own eyes the destruction he is causing our Church. Apuron resign or better still, I understand that your doctor warns against too much stress. Step down! and fade away.
It must be observed, however, that if the faith were endangered, a subject ought to rebuke his prelate even publicly.”

“Augustine says in his Rule: ‘Show mercy not only to yourselves, but also to him who, being in the higher position among you, is therefore in greater danger.’ But fraternal correction is a work of mercy. Therefore even prelates ought to be corrected.”
St. Thomas Aquinas, Summa Theologica II, II, q. 33, a. 4, Sed Contra.

  11. Clear as a bell, the dire situation is again laid out by Tim Rohr. The situation in Guam is not isolated but rather universal. Wiser bishops and clergy have seen through the deceptions of ncw and did not allow them to take root. Some bishops were either strong-armed or gave in to bribery. Some bishops were too feeble-minded and were just too eager to let others do their work for them. The "missionary" decepticon tool is a sham in order to manipulate the zeal of faith-filled people. While corresponding divine justice will happen in the end for these evildoers, the neo lords and weak bishops as well as acquiescent Vatican structure are not willing to put millstones around their heads to accept blame. Yes, Mr. Rohr, the saving face as opposed to saving souls is a sugar-coated human response but will not escape the judgment of humanity and the ultimate judgment.

Via the Washington Post- Power in the Catholic Church is far more diffuse than generally understood; despite all the focus on Rome, most local decisions are made by local bishops, who are only rarely removed, whether for heresy, financial misconduct or on moral grounds. ...says Tom Reese, a Jesuit priest and senior analyst for the National Catholic Reporter. “Our structure was created to deal with princes and nobles,” he said, “and the only way you can get rid of princes and nobles is by poisoning them.” (And no, he doesn’t recommend it.)

The church will always stand but it may be brought to its knees first. As communication increases, people are becoming more aware and are protesting. Dear Rome,
Know that the faithful and devoted Catholics of Guam will relentlessly continue standing for authentic Catholicism and will militantly continue to fight until we get back our Catholic Church from the clutches of the ncw and our ncw-influenced Church leadership and hierarchy!

Your face-saving efforts Rome, would be best placed toward energies and actions which would prove to the faithful Catholics on Guam and the world observers that Rome will not buckle to outside (ncw) influence and pressure, and that Rome will not buckle to the spiritual battle waged by Satan, whose goal is to shanghai the souls of faithful Catholics of Guam who want nothing more than to continue practicing authentic Catholicism and continue teaching and preserving it for future generations of faithful Catholics of our island!

As we enter into the week of Jesus’ Passion, Suffering and Death on the Cross we remember how Jesus boldly faced ridicule, willingly submitted to physical suffering and chose, freely, to die a violent death for the salvation of all souls. May Rome steadfastly stand with and by faithful Catholics on Guam; may Rome die to pride, fear and pressure; may Rome act prudently to protect and preserve authentic Catholicism on Guam; but most of all, may Rome act to save and prevent the perdition of all souls.

  19. I cannot ask apuron why he decided to make the Calungsod festal mass tomorrow a SUNDAY mass, but I can guess. I am guessing he knows this mass will bring in a crowd bigger than any mass he, by himself, could muster, so he made it a Sunday Mass so that he has an excuse to bring out the collection baskets and take advantage of the people attending.

If no collection baskets are passed around, my guess is wrong. But, if there are...

  21. Yet another insult to the intelligence of the Catholic faithful of Guam and a sham of a treatment of Blessed Pedro Calunsod!!

Really? he will downgrade and minimize the importance of Palm Sunday and instead, corral devout Catholics to the Cathedral to increase and generate "appeal income"?

Devotees of Blessed Pedro Calungsod, don't fall for this sham! How low does this archbishop stoop!!! They are desperate, financially, folks! Continue hitting them where it hurts!

NO MORE MONEY FOR THE APPEAL WHICH GOES DIRECTLY TO THE NCW SEMINARY AND LINES THE POCKETS OF THE KIKOS!!!!!!

    1. Just a gentle correction to 5:31 PM. Pedro Calungsod, the Filipino assistant of Luis Diego de Sanvitores has been canonized a saint for sometime now. Sanvitores remains a "blessed," a beatified individual in the Catholic Church which is a step toward sainthood. The cause of Blessed Diego remains stalled whereas that of Saint Pedro has reached its goal. The Reverend David C. Quitugua, VG is current head of the cause of sainthood, something that a Filipino Jesuit, Fr. Ledesma worked so hard to research up until his death. As in everything with this VG, no results. I rest my case.

    2. 6.43pm correct. David was given the task to promote Blessed Diego.. As Usual David cannot achieve goals.

If Rome plans to treat Guam with a Let them eat cake attitude, that “cake” had better be the DESSERT at the end of a Four Course Meal.

FIRST COURSE: If AAA is ordered to make nice and get along well with his clergy and demonstrate it by restoring Fr. Paul Gofigan and Msgr. James Benavente to their posts, after 20 months and 8 months respectively of having trashed their reputations via LIES and INNUENDOS by AAA and his minions, it must be done with certain conditions:
    • The first condition is to ISSUE A PUBLIC APOLOGY IN PRINT AND ON AUDIO/VISUAL MEDIA to the two priests and their families and also to Mr. Joseph Lastimoza and his family.
    • The second condition is that apology should be specific to each individual who has been harmed by the LIES and INNUENDOS, listing each instance and recanting all the filth and trash they so liberally dumped on the good priests and the Lastimoza Family.

AAA and minions only need to refer to their press releases and/or letters to refresh their memories of their slanderous statements. If those documents are unavailable — like the “permission” Rome has given and which AAA promised to produce in response to Tommy Tanaka’s query — they can always check out posts here on JungleWatch.

To simply restore these holy men without the public and specific Mea MAXIMA Culpa would be no more than an insincere response to the Archbishop Krebs’ direction given back in July 2014 — and, most likely reiterated by the Apostolic Visitators in January 2015 — for AAA to "play nicely and get along with others" in the hope that all will be forgiven, and more importantly, forgotten … until the Kikos/Kikobots return with a vengeance after our guards are down.

SECOND COURSE: It would not be enough to have the Kikos/Kikobots temporarily stop sending their obedient Neos out to disrupt our Masses with their “Invitations to Joy” via their public confessions reeking of sexual exploits, addictions and debauchery. There should be a PERMANENT BAN to this practice since it is clearly a violation of the GIRM.

    (To be continued)

However, this will not silence us. Apuron must be removed period.

    (Continuation)

THIRD COURSE: PLACE A MORATORIUM ON ORDINATIONS of the “seminarians” from RMS until ALL the candidates have undergone screening — including, but not limited to, comprehensive psychological testing/evaluations and personal interviews by PROFESSIONAL clinicians, a close examination of family, school, and social histories, background investigation into sexual misconduct and social media usage — as is done in credentialed Catholic seminaries in the U.S. to determine whether the individual are suitable candidates for the priesthood.

In essence, REMOVE KIKO ARGÜELLO AND HIS GENERALS FROM THE ORDINATION PROCESS!

These evaluations should also apply to those who have already been ordained from RMS. There have been comments made that AAA has actually acknowledged there are certain individuals who he should not have ordained. The recent incident involving Presbyter Luis Camacho who is alleged to have violated his Vow of Chastity not even two years after ordination underlines the need for proper screening.

The presbyters who are deemed to be unfit to continue in their ministries should have their faculties suspended and be required to undergo “remedial” training and/or therapy until they meet the standards of suitability.

FOURTH COURSE: Should the RMS property be restored to the Archdiocese of Agana do as Thomas Tanaka (March 27, 2015 at 9:47AM) suggests: “CLOSE down RMS … and SELL the asset” so the money can be used for the benefit of the ARCHDIOCESE. [my emphases]

As Mr. Tanaka proposed, the funds generated can also be used to finance the studies of young men who meet the preliminary screening at the diocesan level as mentioned above at a REAL off-island seminary.

While I’m on that topic regarding off-island seminary study, AAA should also agree to SPONSOR Aaron Quitugua so that he will be able to study at Mount Angel Seminary, per his letter to Chancellor Adrian Cristobal on 27 December 2013. Furthermore, if selling the RMS actually generates funds for off-island formation, instead of letting Aaron cover the cost of his formation as proposed, let the Archdiocese finance him as well.

As Tim pointed out, “The WHOLE WORLD is watching, waiting, wondering…and hoping.”

Are the Powers in Rome more concerned with protecting AAA, the KIKO Member of their “Good Ole Boys Club”?

Or will the Powers in Rome respond to what is a CLEAR and PRESENT DANGER and issue the “big public smack down of Kiko-ism-gone-wild” and respond to the cries of the NON-NCW Catholic Faithful of Guam?

After all I have yet to see any glimmer of Christianity on this website or in anything written by the political megalomaniac who operates it.

    3. 12:51PM -- we see how an uncatechized Catholic can be roped into the ncw and not recognize it as a cult. When you made your mean-spirited accusation, did you not notice your three fingers pointing back at you? Your words, btw, have glimmers of a non-christian attitude and non-fraternal feelings.

One thing is for sure: we're glad we don't belong to some ole "Christian community"

We are Catholics who belong to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, faithful to the Magisterium, our Pope -- not to kiko a pope-wanna-be!

I'll keep following the one Rome gave us thank you very much!

    8. Mar 29, 12:48AM Just as it is important for Catholics to be catechized about authentic Catholic Teachings, it may benefit ncw members to be informed as to what Pope Benedict actually approved about the ncw statutes in 2008.

You really need to read the 2008 statues fully, as we have (yes we've read it fully) and not partially, so as to understand what it is that faithful Catholics are opposing. We follow the Magisterium. Tim R. is a fellow faithful Catholic as we all are; remove Tim from this, and we the faithful Catholics will still continue fighting for the preservation and protection of authentic Catholicism!

Who will you battle with if Tim is removed from this or if the CCOG is removed? This is not about Tim or the CCOG or about you, but it is all about a religious ruse started by kiko and his cohorts, promulgated and continued because of their financial gains from the expansion of the ruse.

Wormwood: Not to worry Uncle, we’ll wag him every which way so as to create even more confusion for both the benevolent ones and our friends where Peter sits.

ScrewTape: Well then, take great care not to lose even one of our patients, this lone Warrior you are up against has rallied quite a following and knows of us below and the seeds we planted a generation ago. Our Old companions in Babylon are now fading and the New seed from Spain, those at the cove in black cloths have now sprouted our new twisted theology. Make the simple ones will drink the awful wine from Spain, they will seek comfort on the unholy Table they prance around with his Eminent, the one we desire!

Wormwood: Yes Uncle, we’ve already secured many of the ones in the Cloths, as you know they no longer believe in SIN, a great success I will confess..hehehe. The writer of the post is referring to the destruction of the Catholic Church on Guam in a refreshing, creative and even humorous way using black humor).

  27. Perhaps the AAA can be transferred to a position within the Roman Curia. It seems to be a Vatican tradition to park problematic bishops in the Curia. The "Bishop of Bling" may no longer be the Bishop of Limburg, but has a new position within the Curia, albeit not so powerful.
