- AnonymousNovember 9, 2015 at 7:48 PMAaaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaa! I think I know the story of that coddling and the gift car! Oh nooooo, it is about to be revealed. How delicious! Tim, you hit jackpot on this one.
Yes. There it was. He was only 16. A NEW CAR. Everyone knew he couldn't afford it. Everyone knew his family couldn't afford it. Yet. There it was. He was only 16. A NEW CAR. 1985 model, I believe???
What sort of gift was that?
ReplyDeleteWhat sordid gift indeed!
Tony, Adrian and David would know...lol
DeleteWhy are the archbishop and Harold traveling so far away together "on mission?" Just what assignment does Harold hold on Guam, if any?
DeleteHe's Apuron's ... Never mind.
DeleteI thought the archbishop traveled with each newly ordained presbyter to his country of origen. It's Pedro Durango who is newly ordained. Why is the archbishop traveling with Harold and not with newly ordained Pedro? Who is Pedro traveling with to Colombia? Is Harold also Colombian?

ReplyDeleteStrange for him to buy a car for 16 year old In 1985. 30 years ago. I see red flags.
Vrooommmm, vrooommmm , vrooommmm, Tony, get out of the way!!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe someone can blow up the picture of the car to at least the size of the signs the Laity Forward Movement are carrying, so that someone attending the protest rally can hold it up for apuron and the world to see.
ReplyDeleteHappy 30-year anniversary!

DeleteWho got a car at 16?
ReplyDeleteHe would be 46 now.
ReplyDeleteHush hush gift...I hope he is happy with his life and not troubled by selling his soul (and body) in exchange for this car that must have already been consigned to the junk yard. All material things pass away but the soul endures to face justice and to account for life lived on earth. The complicity in exchange for cheap thrills wreaks havoc in a life of lying and appearances.
ReplyDeleteThe kid was 16. And from what I can tell, traumatized. I don't think he had the capacity to think through any of this. Let's withhold judgement on the victim.
