ACCUSERS SUE APURON

Denton said since the statements were distributed, apostolic administrator Archbishop Savio Hon Tai Fai “has not attempted to meet with us or to reach out to us.”

“He has rescinded other decrees, but has not rescinded these publications calling us liars, thereby exposing us to contempt and ridicule. Neither the Agana Archdiocese nor Archbishop Hon has retracted or repudiated any statement contained in these publications,” Denton said. “These statements continue to represent the position of the Agana Archdiocese through today.

MY NOTE: Yet, Hon is calling for a prayer service for unity tonight. SMH.

  1. Just curious, why is this prayer for unity being held at 7:30pm? Shouldn't it be held at 7pm?

  3. Nothing has changed. Apuron could still be waltzing in to run the show. Anything the committees do (and I doubt that meaningful, permanent action would be taken) could still go up in smoke. Poof!
Hold on to our Church and hold up those signs on Sunday. LOUDER.

  4. If the leaders of Archdiocese of Agana, which is now Hon and company, did not see this lawsuit coming, they deserve to be fired, together with their legal advisors.

  5. AB Savio is calling for prayer of unity when most Catholics on Guam DO NOT SEE UNITY.....The Archdiocese is using the induction of Frs. Jeff and Lito to gather the people, in hopes that the Prayer for Unity be offered. Then I find out NCW has a hand in this "unity" effort. Sorry.....hold on a minute....I'm not sorry....why should I be sorry? This whole things smells of putrid. The NEOs do not do anything UNLESS they are ordered to. For them to attend, I see more salt in the wound.

As for the victims suing this Archdiocese and the monster apuron, more power to you. Someone has to be accountable to this crap.

    1. Hon' s call for unity is all an act - part of the charade orchestrated by his pals in the Neo hierarchy. This Neo "Dog and Pony Show" is bullshit!! Hon is actually disobeying Pope Francis' orders and insulting the Pope by trying to fool him and us. Pope Francis should can him as well.

Rome has ordered ZERO TOLERANCE! Our Archdiocese has ZERO TOLERANCE as a policy as well, yet Hon has not -- at the least met with the victims -- extended any level of gesture of concern and healing?

Rome, Archbishop Hon has failed our Church on Guam; has failed as a substitute Shepherd of Catholics on Guam and has failed Rome and that's not acceptable!

This session of "prayers for unity" tonight is a hypocrisy. That a Catholic Church's hierarchy can be so callous as to ignore sexual abuse victims -- and at the least extend a charitable hand out to the victims, regardless of the time frame of the crime and sin -- is a tragedy and a scandal that is not acceptable at any level in civil society or religious denomination who believe in and teach charity!

  7. Keep on fighting!

Apuron is loving all the attention! He is so turned on with seeing that he's always front page news. His twisted narcissism is fed and he is happy! He does not lose sleep. Apuron dreams about his experiences with those boys. Yes, he is that disgusting!

    2. Putrid clarified his preference, he said he likes them old and wrinkle, He counts them like sheep in order to put him to lala land. This old troll needs a wake up call. Boot him off the island. I'll give him a box of "memories in paris" perfume for his parting gift.

    3. It has been said that Putrid was in love with women but is really in love with boys.

  8. Bring your signs inside the Cathedral-Basilica. Hold them high and proud. Document everything. Get inside the church. Why should we stay outside? We will be heard!

    Take back our church!!!

  10. Neos came in droves...BUT others just invaded THEIR pews. Lots of good people who want peace, but are not nformed of a few nasty details. Hon tricked, thinking he scored big time. Probably packing a few things to get a move on.
