It was pointed out that we would have been better off if we had stood across the street from the ITC Building since southbound traffic was free-flowing on that side of the street. Whenever the light turned red, our signs could not be seen whenever the large trucks heading northbound — and there were quite a few! — ended up idling in front of us.
Another option would have been for us to stand in front of the TakeCare clinic for the same reason that standing opposite the ITC building worked — free-flowing traffic heading north would keep our signs visible.
