THE VALOR OF APURON--A FAIRYTALE

Note: In light of the La Stampa fairy tale, we are reposting this post by Bob from Aug 25, 2016.)

Posted by Bob

Once upon a time there was a priest named Apuron who really liked little boys. The boys grew up and a few of them told everyone about Apuron, who although he never grew up, became an Archbishop. Apuron took on the mafia, Mark Brown (formerly of Trump Casinos), a powerful Chinese consortium, prostitution, crime, drugs, the brown tree snake and the rhinoceros beetle. Had it not been for Apuron's catechist, Father Pius, (and the little boys who grew up) we'd never have known of all Apuron's wonderful works--works so great that one day Apuron will be on par with Blessed Diego Luis de San Vitores, i. e. according to Father Pius.

Well, not really live but not on Guam either.

Above the marquee is satire. Repeating, it's satire.  What follows is not satire but it's really hard to tell the difference.

Krystal Paco of KUAM TV News did an email interview with Pius.
Here's one of Krystal's questions:

Will the guarantors listed on the Deed Restriction for the RMS be obedient to the Pope's directive to give back the Yona property? If not, will the new owners be seeking legal action? If so, on what grounds?

Here's part of Pius' answer:
***
"Imagine that in nearby Saipan the powerful Chinese consortium Imperial Pacific, headed by Mark Brown (former CEO of Trump Casinos and then of Sheldon Casinos) invested seven billions dollars to develop a Casino there! Imagine the interests! People may kill for much less that that.

But Saipan was just a detour, because they wanted to invest in Guam with its enticing two millions tourists every year. But in Guam all has been blocked until now by archbishop Apuron, who always fought against establishing casinos and bringing more mafia, prostitution, crime, drugs.  So clearly, if there are interests of this kind, the first thing is to destroy the Archbishop.

One day, when all this has passed, they will rediscover the valor of this Archbishop and the historians will add a chapter to the evangelize [sic] of this Island, an important chapter which will be added to the chapter written by Blessed Diego Luis de San Vitores."

This is NOT satire folks. IT'S NOT SATIRE! Those are Pius' actual  words!

Citizens of JungleWatch Nation are accustomed to seeing pictures of people featured in JW posts. I'll spare you the discomfort of having to even glance at Pius before you can avert your eyes. Instead, featured are two of the more notable "products" of what Pius referred to in Krystal's interview as, "...one of the most powerful instruments to fight the devil..." i.e. his RMS Seminary.

  2. Bunch of sexual monkeys being produced by RMS. The annual appeal is just another scam to fund these monkeys. Pius thinks this island is stupid.

  3. Why does apostolic administrator Hon tolerate that lying, slimy putrid pervert to stay in charge of the "seminary" or even on Guam? One would think the best of the sincere NCW would realize how Pius gives their movement a horrible reputation.

  4. "One flew over the Pius' nest"! It's too bad high school students don't read the classics anymore and I don't mean Harry Potter. Although, there seems to be some witchcraft at work here. WTH was he talking about? How can sane people listen to this guys drivel? I think I answered my own question!

  6. Apuron exchanged one mafia (gambling cartel) for another (the NCW). Hardly heroic and worthy of a place in Church history.

  7. Why is marian arroyo the newly appointed leader of the Mercy Nuns? This just means that the mercy nuns support apuron and damn neos! What the freaking hell?

    1. Mercy Nuns adore Apuron regardless what he did. They already forgave him but do not even acknowledge the VITIMS and their pains. To them apuron is still their leader regardless.

  8. Why did KUAM bother interviewing Pius? Pius the Putrid's opinions don't amount to beans. Stop giving him opportunities to pollute the air.

  10. Typical Pius divert tactic. You ask him if it is black or white and his answer is yes it is windy sometimes, but not this morning.

Fr. Pius speaks as if a casino on the RMS site is detrimental to the spirituality and morality of Guam’s Catholic faithful. Considering the current situation with the Church on Guam, if the site were a casino, at least we all know it is a casino and will deal with that situation accordingly. By comparison, the site currently promotes itself as a seminary, yet we now know that the seminary is just the “front,” a disguise. The site is the actual the seat where manipulations, maneuverings, and plots are formulated on how next can the Neocatechumenal Way continue their puppeteering of the leadership of the Archdiocese of Agana. Given the choice, I would rather have a casino on that site than a building disguised as a seminary. At least with a casino, I know what I’m dealing with up front. As this applies to Fr. Apuron’s purported concern over preventing the site from being a casino, presumably because it would have led the faithful down the path of immorality, spiritual destruction, and criminal influence, thanks to his and the NeoCat leadership, all of those things already exist in our Church even in the absence of a casino! By the tumult he and the NeoCats have caused, I venture to say that the Catholic faithful on the island would have a more peaceful life if a casino were on that site.

  15. Because the "communities" in different countries are VERY interconnected, and because accountability in money is substandard, ordinary members in the UK ought to be far more concerned than they are. Yes we knew "most" of our takings "most" of the time went towards our vases of flowers, restaurant meals, hotel stays, "catechists'" petrol. But as for what was left over we were never told ENOUGH about what it went to, let alone the larger occasional collections. "Responsibles" copied strange nudging and winking mannerisms (memes) from the itinerants which went with the quaint Mediterranean style vocabulary, and there is always a large bunch of prelates claiming to still back this stuff, who need to be put on the spot in official circumstances about whether they actually favour monies collected under their recommendation by the Families of Nazareth and "similar" foundations going towards "arranging something with Jackie".
