MISSING CLERGY FROM THE ARCHDIOCESE OF AGANA, GUAM

Dear Rome,

Please note that we are trying to help you locate the following clergy who appeared to have gone AWOL from this diocese, with one exception. Fr. Jason Granado appears to have been "assigned" to the Diocese of Chalan Kanao, Saipan. However, the question is was Archbishop Apuron within his authority to simply "assign" a priest from his own diocese to another diocese? The irony is that Fr. Granado was one of the few "products" from RMS who appeared to be at least a sincere priest - though still horribly malformed. The rumor is that he was shuttled away from his last assignment in Guam (Agat) because he was unable to establish a neocatechumenal community there.

Oh, and P.S. It appears your guy, Hon, carries no weight. These guys have simply blown him off...as well as some of the others who are still here.

    1. Anonymous at 3:03 PM and Anonymous at 2:50 PM, if you take the time to read the title of this post, you might notice that it addresses Missing Clergy from the Archdiocese of AGANA, GUAM (my emphasis).

The individual you mention is, as you yourselves have noted, from Saipan — specifically the Diocese of CHALAN KANOA — therefore his name is irrelevant to this post. Furthermore all the priests listed as "Missing Clergy" are members of the NCW. From what I have gathered, Fr. Blockley IS NOT a member.

    2. As Mary Lou points out, he was never incardinated in the Archdiocese of Agaña.

Moreover, the new Bishop of Chalan Kanoa is fully aware of his whereabouts.

  6. Tim Eight priests of Guam considered AWOL. Who pays the salary of these priests and who covers the daily living expenses? Canon Law on the life of priests issues very clear directives. A priest accused of abuse is entitled to his salary basic needs by his ordinary. Archbishop Apuron may well be responsible for all those he ordained into our local church.

Tim, you forgot to list the most infamous missing clergy of the day --- Anthony S. Apuron. My wild imagination envisions him residing in the in the locked-up RMS.

  8. Or living it up in the Riviera, on nightly prowl for young boys, courtesy of loyalist Deacon Kim who sends him our hard-earned money for Church purposes. This Apuron has been on a roll for thirty years, living it up as if diocesan coffers are his wallet!!!

  9. Apuron in NJ in Gennirini's palacio sipping champagne, basking in the sun by the pool counting all the loot he has plundered from the Guam Church, all the while having flashbacks of all the young boys that he has taken advantage of during his stint in Guam.

  11. Instead of adding new names, let's focus on the locations of the ten, named NCW Cult presbyters on Tim's list.

We are paying for every last one of those.

  12. Do we have any information where the priests on Tim's post are in residence.
Fr.Jason is working Saipan. Where is Fr.Luis?

    1. Agree, Got rid of Pius already, or did we? Hence the need to get rid of the remaining clowns Quitugua, Cristobal, Alberto, Claros, UduValdo - all these characters are complicit with the works of Apuron, and the deplorable state that the Archdiocese is in today. I don't understand why we still have these turkeys in leadership of local church? How is this possible? and Why?

      Delete
  14. How is this possible why? Because each of them is unbelievably corrupt utterly incompetent. But they are incardinated priests with rights. Read comments from Tim Rohr @ CNMI lawyer closely. You cannot simply give priests one way tickets off Island.

    1. They being corrupt and incompetant should be reasons to remove them from being pastors of parishes and positions of leadership in the archdiocese. Assign them to prison ministry at DOC, or guma san jose to feed the hungry and minister to the poor. The best choice should be to defrock them altogether, no sense having a corrupt priest or dacon in the church.

    2. Why would we want to subject prisoners to heresy? Don't let them anywhere near people where they can use their mouths.

    3. Actually, 12:46PM, there might be a possibility of adopting Calvo's plan: they can leave on the condition that they never come back. In fact, it would be worth it to us to pay them to stay away.

    4. I would support even paying a severance package to stay away so the local church can be rebuilt in peace.
When you mentioned this yesterday it made me think further.Apuron likes money. Give him salary to stay away.

    5. Tim, their home countries might throw up documentation roadblocks against getting their native presbyters back like what our governor is encountering as he tries to deport undesirable aliens...

  15. on these "missing" priests, why not withhold their monthly checks until they write and ask for them? That way, we will know where they are or can ask them where they are?

    1. The problem is that there still exists the assumption on our part that Hon is here to do the right thing. He's not. If not for this blog, Apuron would already be back here.

  16. Fr.Luis Camacho is within his legal right to excardinate (leave) Guam join his Doah Diocese. Until he excardinates Fr.Luis remains a priest of Guam. Incardination excardination of a priest must take place simultaneously. Canon Law does not permit a priest at any point in time, from the time of incardination,(the time of his ordination to the deaconate,) to be without a bishop or religious Superior of his order. Situation created by Archbishop Anthony Apuron is that Guam ordained " Vagus priests" roaming the Church.

    1. Ballin is already officially on record as claiming that Luis is "his." So let's do this. Excardinate, incardinate. Get him off our damn payroll. Ballin? Ballin?

  17. 12.50pm. Canon Law is above all for the salvation of Souls. Canon law of the Catholic Church is written to protect every baptized member of the community according to their vocation.
If Canon Law had been respected implemented according to the spirit of the law from day one by all parties than perhaps our church would not be in its present day crisis. This mess evolved because our canon lawyer Quitugua failed to apply the spirit of the law. Infact i would dare say he abused canon law with full knowledge intention. This is the tragic situation that led to the deplorable situation we all face.
I'm sorry but Tim Rohr is absoloutely right. Apuron minions have no respect for Church Law. To them it is about power money position. They are the modern day "princes" that Pope Francis references. They fly around the world, stay in five star hotels, drive their high end cars, take the money of the church living rich lives. Yes Apuron Quitugua cronies are fine examples of princes damaging this community.
