  1. What shame if this is how the church rewards its own while victimizing the victims again.....

    1. In layman's terms, It is called Cover Up, dirt swept under the rug, preserve the dignity of the perpetrator, while the sins against the innocent are ignored. This is corruption at its finest. Unfortunately it is happening within the Church of God, with the very ministers who have sworn to upkeep the laws of God that are getting away with all these injustices.

And the archbishop/clergy continue with that practice of cover-ups even when the church leadership has been called out on this practice! They continue it as if the Faithful do not notice --- which is insulting to the Faithful! Imagine, having an official announcement from the archdiocese's newspaper and website that No-Balls-Adrian is assigned to pursue canon law studies. Under normal circumstances the Faithful would be supportive of a member of its clergy pursuing advanced studies. But this is not a normal circumstance. That clergy member is known to be the least deserving of such an educational investment; is known to possess a cold heart and has taken part in malicious operations in the archdiocese --- the farthest example of Jesus. Yet he gets "rewarded" as a cover-up to from all the malice in the archdiocese. The Faithful is on to these types of cover-up maneuvers. They are not dumb. Thank God the CCOG wrote its letter to the Presbyteral Council on this issue, in effect calling out the archdiocese on this insulting tactic (and to ensure that its bishop acts like a bishop, and its priests, like priests). The cover-up has to stop or the local Church will have a tough time moving forward.

  2. Seems as if the catholic bishops are a bunch of hypocrites. It's starting to make sense on why they are very strong in proclaiming the good news cause the good news is that even if they are caught as perpetrators, there is no punishment, but rather a "atta boy" movement to other places in the world which are clueless to predators. Just sad....

  6. will it be more difficult to depose him for the civil cases here if he's in canada? could be a reason why he's not going to a catholic university in the states...

    1. The only US Catholic university with stiff/competitive entrance requirements is Jesuit Georgetown in Washington DC. It's known as the Catholic Harvard. The rest of them take anyone they can get just to keep their doors open.

    2. Doubtful that Georgetown is Catholic.

    3. Jesuit universities haven't considered themselves as Catholic schools for ages, only as Jesuit. That's how they publicly advertise themselves.

However, Georgetown U. undeniably trains extremely powerful elites, especially in their reknowned professional and diplomatic service schools. Their most famous Law School grad is probably ex-US President Bill Clinton.

  8. Byrnes owes the people of Guam an explanation of why adrian cristobal who disobeyed Archbishop Hon's order to transfer to Umatac was rewarded with the chance to study Canon Law in Canada.
