SABLAN: "WE WANT A COMPLETE DE-APURONIZATION"

While the Archdiocese of Agana faces lawsuits filed on behalf of child sex-abuse victims, some of the vocal members of the island’s Catholic community continue to press for suspended Archbishop Anthony Apuron to be removed of his title permanently.

Apuron currently holds no administrative powers or duties in the archdiocese, and was recently found living in Fairfield, California while he’s facing a confidential trial in the Vatican on allegations of child sexual abuse. The Vatican canonical trial is separate from the dozen cases filed against the Archdiocese of Agana in the federal court, and other cases filed in the local courts in Guam. CONTINUED

  1. Understood and agreed. But a cancer that was systematically fed and pampered like a house pet for 30 years is incurable. Unfortunately, the despicable Neocats are embedded on Guam and there to stay.

  2. First, ALL Catholic church MUST NOT INCLUDE APURON'S name in the prayers of the people. I was shock to hear his name included in the prayers of the people, with the title Archbishop. His name should be banned from all documents, articles, prayers, etc. That is the only way the people can move on. Second, ALL news reporters should not use the title of "Archbishop" in front of Apuron's name.

    1. Yes, I was at the Yigo Mass this past Sunday and Apuron's name was FIRST mentioned then Archbishop Byrnes. Understood it was a form of praying for their best performance as Archbishops. Tony Boy Toy lost this privilege by ruining our Diocese, giving Guam a big black eye, promoting the NCW cult practices, and just be an outright liar and deceiver.

Two Sundays ago, both Fr. Jonathon and Fr. Manny did not include Apuron's name during the Eucharistic Prayer. Go figure!

    1. Agreed. Apuron is not some pathetic old man who suddenly went senile. He's always been bad to the bone. Will he end up like Judas Iscariot?

    2. Praying for proudly unrepentant Apuron is like praying for the devil.

  4. Yes, why is that? I have been to masses at several different parishes ever since my beloved ACB has been infiltrated by the NEOs (Apuron, Jucutan and their NEO communities). It's true. Not all of the priests will include Apuron's name in the prayers of the faithful or the people, just like some of them did not voice out loud that silly jubilee prayer. I believe this was their silent protest and I, for one, noticed and appreciated that gesture. Now it's time to take it up a notch, padres. Put on your big boy pants under your garments and grow some gonads, for heaven's sakes! Find your voices and lead us into battle. There's a new sheriff in town and now is the opportune time to get off your knees, take control, clean house, speak up, gather your flock and show him (and the rest of us) that Chamorro spirit and vigor! Biba Katoliku, Biba Guahan, Biba Chamoru!

  5. F. Leon Guerrero, your beloved ACB was not "infiltrated" by the Neocats. It was infected and infested by them. They are contagious disease-carrying vermin.
