QUITUGUA OUT!

Quitugua resigns as archbishop advisor

Monsignor David C. Quitugua resigned, effective June 18, as a member of Archbishop Michael Jude Byrnes' team of advisors, known as the College of Consultors, according to the Archdiocese of Agana. Byrnes asked him to step down, the Archdiocese stated. CONTINUED

  1. The archbishop needs to do something to prevent quitugua from ever holding a position where he can manipulate the diocese.

  3. Still leaves with the quiet but lethal Jose Alberto and the dedicated soldier Julio Cesar
Let's not forget the ever conspiring Bibi Arroyo, the champion of whisper, innuendo and false advise.

  4. Hey!!

This is the first time the "Very Rev. Msgr. Quit." obeyed.

Was he actually cornered, or... something smelling fishy?

  5. Thank You AB Byrnes. Quitugua chose to align himself with the NCW cult, and in the process betrayed the faithful who paid for him to obtain his education, in the process he hurt fellow priests by lying and bearing false witness against them, he basically went over to the other side and burnt the bridge behind him. Like Apuron, it would be best if he disappeared into the NCW underground, please take Alberto and Rudy with you.

    2. Good Comment 8:27am.
Quitugua needs to pack his bags leave Island.
Bibi needs to follow along with Rudy. There all hateful individuals who hurt priests. This Bibi I want him out for what he did. Hateful son of a bitch.

  6. Quitugua knows where the Cathedral's missing $800,000 is. That might have been held over his head. If so, I hope the money is returned soon.

I don't doubt that there is a connection between him and a San Francisco Bank of Guam Manager, also named Quitugua. She's the one who hid Apuron in her large Fairfield CA home.

  7. Thank you, Quitugua, for having the guts to offer your resignation. Must have been hard to let go of power, huh. But, don't worry; the brothers will take care of you, albeit it might be at OUR expense. But thanks, anyway!

And thanks, Archbishop Byrnes, for accepting his resignation. Perhaps you might get in hot waters with the NCW empire for doing so, but don't worry: you did the right thing. Thanks.

Onward, Christian Soldier! Hope you don't take any more back steps.

  8. From what I understand, he was made to resign. It was not a magnanimous, selfless gesture.

I hope Quitugua faces legal charges for the illegal activities surrounding the secret title transfer.

Let's not forget that he conspired with the trained attorney to deceive the public with the bogus certificates of title.

And from the church law side he conspired with Apuron in the illegal transfer of the property and alienation. Also on the Church side he refused due process to Fr Paul and Fr James and he outright slandered both with known lies.

Maybe Abp Byrnes give him an ultimatum to obey or face a more arduous conclusion to his ministry.

But merely stepping down from these boards does not even come close to justice. A trial will finally set the record straight, so let's have a canonical trial on the local level!

And let the verdict determine the penalty/punishment. We will also find out during that trial who else was complicit in these crimes. My guess-Adrian, Alberto, Pius and Gennarini are all guilty of involvement. Oh, and don't forget the trained attorney, Jackie the fool Terlaje.

  10. Maybe Archbishop Byrnes appointed him to his team of advisers to "keep an eye" what he would do. Now that he has resigned, his actions can be hidden (a key NCW strategy which is to lie, cheat and deceive), this could work in his favour....

  11. Given Lurch's rap sheet, he should be put on leave and laicized. He's very vindictive. As long as he remains active in the archdiocese, he's dangerous. When Adrian returns from Canada, they'll join forces against Byrnes. The two of them will be like Bonnie and Clyde.

    1. Hmmm, who's Bonnie who's Clyde. And don't mention their outstanding demise.
