SORRY JULIUS CESAR. BUT YOU ARE "NON-ESSENTIAL!" LOL!

Forty-one properties owned by the Archdiocese of Agana have been deemed "non-essential" and will be the first to be liquidated if and when additional money is needed for settlement negotiations with litigants in the pending clergy sex abuse cases against the church. CONTINUED

  2. Presbyter Julio: Can I just have one room to myself? Maybe I can rent it out for my itinerant exenses. Please, pretty please?
    Archbishop Byrnes: Ah...NO!

  3. Presbyter Julio: Just one please?
Msgr James: The RMS will be sold as a whole, the Archdiocese will not have the discretion to retain rooms.
Presbyter Julio: Damn! Ju hombres estan muy mean! Filoni will punish ju!

  4. Presbyter Julio: Can you let them make me stay in my room? I have Senor Kiko's priceless icons on my walls. Por favor, Padre Jeff, after all, you were one of us, entiendes, si?
Father Jeff: oh, let me see. May I form a committee to discuss and make decisions about your request? Just know that I hear what you are saying, and my heart is bleeding for you (gets folded tissue from pocket and wipes away tears). I will pray for you. Can I give you a hug?
Presbyter Julio: Si, pero no se if my hand can reach around your waist. How about a double kiss?
Father Jeff: Darn doughnuts! Oh okay.

  5. They need to pay rent on the building especially if they are housing mission families! It's not a boarding house!

Have courage and be merciful by bringing in the homeless, especially those with children!

I think RMS should really start paying rent!

  6. @9:58 the archdiocese accepting RMS rent from the Neos would require a written lease or rental agreement. That would give them tenants' rights they should not have and make evicting them more difficult.

Unfortunately, whatever arrangement they have now is apparently legally binding until the hotel is sold. Its new owner can evict them, if they so choose. However, if the new owner is a NCW ringer, you're dead in the water...again.

  7. Yes, we are well aware that the Kikos may be maneuvering to purchase the property, and failing that, to obstruct the sale at any cost.

    1. Seems Diana telling same old lies about donors. Saying people are dead etc. Eusebio hard at work.

    2. NCW ringers from way out of town could easily buy up all of the properties and lease or sell them back to the locals. You wouldn't know what hit you until the checks were cashed. Those snakes have outsmarted everyone in the archdiocese for over 30 years. No indication any of that will change.

  8. The former BOQ at closed Clark Air Base in the Philippines was sold to a major hotel chain like Holiday Inn and it's very successful. Multinational corporations like that are the type Byrnes should be dealing with on RMS because their superlawyers can easily vaporize any Neocats who try to block the sale.

The former Clark AB property is just a converted USAF dorm sitting on flat land near a notorious red light district. I don't know what the selling price was, but it's nowhere near as cushy and picturesque as RMS. Seems to me that place with its fabulous ocean view would make a very desirable boutique hotel.

  9. No question that the Yona property will sell. The only real question is why the seminary hasn't already been closed. Didn't the ad hoc report already condemn them? Abp Byrnes spoke today in his homily about judgement, and how judgement is a reality. So maybe it's time to stop being too PC, judge the seminary as the failure that it is, and close it down.
There are other alternatives that are real and legitimate. We don't need anymore fake presbyters, we are already saddled with 17 of them.

    1. @1:15 PM, you're absolutely right. Byrnes keeps taking one step forward and two steps back on RMS.

He has the authority to evict the overtly heretical Neos and shut the place down, but he won't do it. Hopefully, he isn't playing that insane "Who am I to judge?" game Francis weasels out on.
