MORE FUN FROM "VIRGINIA"

Not her real name of course. I know who she is. But her real name doesn't matter. Let's see what she has to say.

Following the post THE PASSION OF THE PRIEST, wherein Fr. Paul describes a meeting with the local leadership of the Neocatechumenal Way at which "a tall woman named Patricia", upon not getting her way, "slammed her fist on the table and stormed out", "Virginia objects:
I know Pat Cottman... the woman you named Patricia. She is a respectable person and I know she would never "slam her fist on the table and storm out". Now I know that you all embellish / exaggerate your stories. What a mess you weave Tim and Paul. I still respect you Fr. Paul as a man of God, and I pray for you.
I then challenged "Virginia" as to how she could say "I still respect you Fr. Paul", when she just called him a liar and effectively discredited the other four priests who Fr. Paul had said were at the meeting and who would corroborate his account: Fr. Patrick Garcia, Fr. Joel De Los Reyes, Fr. Vito San Andres, and Fr. Eugene Santa Ana.

Another commenter asked Virginia that since she knew "Patricia", it would be quite easy for her to ask if in fact she had acted as Fr. Paul had described, rather than accuse "Tim and Paul" of embellishing and exaggerating "your stories", and of weaving messes, in other words: lying.

I then volunteered to post "Patricia's" version of the story if it conflicted with Fr. Paul's. But, we are quite used to defenders of the Neocatechumenal Way choosing their own myths over the simple path to truth, so we were not surprised when, instead of asking Ms. Cottman as suggested, "Virginia" replies:
Until ALL four Priests present write on your blog and say it is true - of course with each name listed as the original authors - then I will concede and say Father Paul is telling the truth.
So there you have it. Fr. Paul is a liar, guilty until proven innocent, something we are getting quite used to around here.

As you might guess, this is all getting quite tiresome. We will continue, of course. But perhaps the rumored investigation into the finances of Redemptoris Mater and all the money the communities collect (and don't report) will bring a quick end to the whole ruse.

    Dear Virginia:

If you are so confident that Patricia Cottman did not slam her hand on the table and stormed out, then ask her to post a comment saying so. The statement has been made by Fr. Paul that Patricia did just that. He was present, heard it, and so he has direct proof proving his claim. You don't. You weren't there. You don't even have a hearsay statement contradicting the claim. In the famous words of that famous attorney Clarence Darrow, you don't have SH##.

  2. If you think Pat's tantrum is bad you should see Father Pius go on one. He will yell, he will throw things, he will call you all sorts of vile things. This is the man the Neos love. They say he does these things out of love as they often use to make themselves feel better about the awful way the cathechists treat them. The brainwashing that goes on is horrendous. God help them all!

    2. Ask the parishoners of st anthony what the neo catechist roland san augustine did to the priests there. Seems to be very common for neo catechist to be yellling at our priests. In fact people heard roland yelling at the priests saying: "I dont care about the norms of the church!". Inside the church building did he do this.

    3. Also, I heard from a neo seminarian that the vice rector of the seminary has crazy tantrums causing one of the neo seminarians to leave after he witnessed the vice rector slamming the tables. Another story was of the seminarian that had to escape secretly to the airport and back to his country years ago.

    4. I normally do not allow comments like the one about the vice rector slamming tables, etc. without more proof or a credible source. However, I am allowing it for now. If you have more than "I heard", please advise. The name of the seminarian who had to escape to the airport would be helpful.

    5. I have heard from others about the screaming catechist at St. Anthony's so I am allowing the comment. It appears to be more than just hearsay. I was also given the name of the priest who the catechist was screaming at.

  3. We have had one comment against Fr. Pius and comment defending him. We will leave it at that. If you wish to say something further email JungleWatch.info@gmail.com and we can review.

  4. New to this blog and not a member of the NCW I find this blog very interesting. I do not have first hand information on anything that is said for or against anything that is written. There is too much blah, blah , blah this or that.
The Archbishop HAS to make a public statement defending his actions on all matters. Silence is not the answer it is only a way of cowardness. So someone has to face the music and give you all answers. You all need to know the truth and hear it right out of the horse's mouth.

  6. One way or another, we all need to SWALLOW our PRIDE and face the music by setting the record straight and coming out clean.

I hope hope your posting about "we" needing to swallow pride, facing the music and setting the record straight refers to the archbishop and his NCW cohorts, because it seems to me the only ones needing to "come out clean" are the archbisop and his NCW cohorts in their initiation and doings with regard to the Apuron-Gofigan conflict and Archbishop's refusal to follow Rome's orders.

  8. Pat Cottman never let go of her worldly things. She does in fact go on tantrums, uses foul language and judge people. Speaking from experience and knowing this person for many years. She feels entitled because she is in THE WAY, but she is a hypocrite. A person with a smile that will spit a knife in your back if you get lost in her deceit.
