WELCOME TO THE CLUB: ADD "CHEAP" TO THE LIST

Anonymous March 27, 2014 at 8:02 PM tells us:
In all honesty, I refuse to have my children confirmed here. Two of them have taken a crash course in Manila and confirmed there. Why did I do this, well we were required to attend a talk about the Way, and I didn't need for my 11th grader to hear about the marital problem of the speakers.

Anonymous March 28, 2014 at 10:10 AM replies:
Well she/he has a choice of fast food way to get your children's confirmation. If you want your children's faith cheap and convenient? So be it.

Anonymous March 28, 2014 at 1:20 PM retorts:
How are you call my Filipino heritage of learning the Catholic Faith cheap! Our churches have more than 7 masses packed to capacity! The entire congregation prays and sings together that one can feel the presence of holiness. Why don't you confront the Filipino priests on island and tell them their way of catechizing in the Philippines is cheap.

*********
My Note: Welcome to the club 1:20 PM. Every once in awhile they let on what they really think of the rest of us. We can add "Cheap" to the list where we already have Judases, Unsalted, Immature, Childish, and my favorite: "I used to be just like you."

  1. I think I am going to be a real stink here. I have a friend who works at a TV and radio station. I will copy and paste this comment on his facebook and ask him to do a little feature on it. I know he will get it out.

To my fellow kababayan priests you better head home where your teachings, preaching sand services are most appreciated.

Your evangelizations ang Halaga ebak! Meaning is worth shit!

    1. You said that, not anyone here so therefore you contradict yourself. I would give a RAT's ASS if you know the executive director of Time Warner. This is a Free country and everyone has the right to their own opinion. If you want an escape GOAT for your children's faith to CRAM their confirmation? SO be it. Because you have a prejudice heart and I doubt they would grasp the class. During my time it takes six to seven months of classes and I barely grasp anything. If you decide for your kids, the crash course in Manila is a logical sense? SO BE IT. So are you saying Guam's program is not good enough for your children? Or just convenient?? By the way, I' am Filipino.

Kung yan gusto mo sa mga anak mo. Puede ren pero yan ang pinaka manipis na par-aaral ng dios,.

    3. @11:59a.m. I don't give a horses ass about what you think. I will raise my children to the faith that I believe in and that is not the teaching of the Way or talks of the Way. So AWAY with YOU!

    5. Dear Agat Parishioner Baby,

It appears that you either speak horrid Tagolgog or you need to stay away from Google Translator:

Please be advised that the writer of the comment signed by "Agat Parishioner Baby" may not even really be "a Filipino," at least by the looks of the Tagalog part written at the bottom of the comment.
First of all, the grammar and spelling, simply horrendous!  It cannot even pass as slang.
Secondly, the direct translation is also wrong.

"Kung yan gusto mo sa mga anak mo. Puede (WRONG SPELLING) ren(WRONG SPELLING) pero yan ang pinaka manipis (WRONG CHOICE OF WORD) na par-aaral (WRONG SPELLING) ng dios,.
Bahala ka!"

      DIRECT TRANSLATION:
"IF THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT FOR YOUR CHILDREN. IT'S ALSO ALRIGHT BUT THAT IS THE MOST THIN  LEARNING OF GOD,. IT'S UP TO YOU!"

It seems like someone may have been trying to pass off a GOOGLE-translated Tagalog comment as an authentic speaker's comment.

    1. It is not fair to call them out as racist without the facts. Saying they dislike Filipinos is your opinion and not based on any evidence.

    2. Let's end the racism thing right here, right now. It is a inflammatory accusation that never promotes either party.
Frankly, I find them distracting and possibly intentional.
