AS EXPECTED

*NOTE: I learned later that the person who stood up (mentioned below) was not a member of the clergy, but a woman religious.

Archbishop Apuron has been meeting with the College of Consultors, the Presbyteral Council, pastors, and religious communities. However, rather than trotting out the now shamed and discredited faces of the Vicar General and the Chancellor, the new Mouth of Apuron is the Neo Arch-Priestess/Sometimes-Attorney, Jackie Terlaje.

The agenda of the meetings is, as expected, not just the full discrediting of Msgr. James Benavente, but the public hanging of the man as a warning to any other clergy member who might dare oppose the Neocatechumenal Way, complete with his character drawn, quartered, and his head impaled on a pole at the chancery gate.

But even the most brutal kings and dictators at least conducted their mockeries of justice in the presence of the victim.  Not so, Archbishop Apuron. The brutal smearing and dismembering of Msgr. James' person and reputation is conducted in his absence. This is calumny of the worst sort and a grave sin against justice.

According to the Neo-Arch-Priestess Terlaje, amongst the long list of charges against Msgr. James is the Cathedral has no money and cannot pay its bills. WELL WHO THE HELL'S FAULT IS THAT? For 20 years, under Msgr. James, the Cathedral has never defaulted on its loans and has paid every bill and paycheck due, including the Archbishop's bills. But now under these people the Cathedral can't keep the lights on. (SMH)

Here's something people need to understand. While the Cathedral may be the largest church on the island, it is one of the smallest parishes. There are only about 300 registered parish members due to the fact that few people actually live in Agana. However, this small base of people and their weekly contributions is relied on to run not just the parish, but diocesan functions as well. Yet, the Archbishop, though he uses the Cathedral as his personal church every time he wants to do something there, gives no financial support to the Cathedral.

Msgr. James has worked miracles with so little. As anyone who has ever visited the Cathedral knows, the place was always immaculately cared for both inside and out, and every event was carried out with professional attention to every detail. For twenty years all the Archbishop ever had to do was show up in his phylacteries and Msgr. James took care of the rest. But now Msgr. James is evil? This all stinks of Kiko Arguello.

So if Msgr. James was able to do all this for twenty years, why all of a sudden is the Cathedral unable to pay its bills? Because the good people who sustained the Cathedral all these years smelled the same Kiko Arguello stench and left, THAT'S WHY!

Probably nowhere is this more evident than at the Archbishop's 9:30AM Sunday Mass where there are embarrassingly fewer people in attendance than at any other Mass in the whole archdiocese. The collections are down by half since Archbishop Apuron brutally and (once again) illegally (we'll come to that) kicked Msgr. James out of the Cathedral.

So unable to man up to anything, and with his two stooges cowering in the shadows, Archbishop Apuron runs for the cover of Ms. Terlaje's skirt and sends her out on a witch-hunt to batter and calumniate Msgr. James.

Rather than stain his soul with this evil charade, one member of the clergy* had the moral integrity to stand up and ask: "What is this all about? You are reading all these charges against Msgr. James, but where is he? Why are you telling us all this? Have you even spoken with him directly? (They had not.)" Someone else then moved that the meeting be adjourned and it was.

It seems that there were at least a few that were smart enough to know the mortal danger of the grave injustice they had been seduced into witnessing, and for the sake of their souls, decided not to stay even one minute longer.

This is no longer about getting Rome to act. This is about responding NOW to our Baptismal call and putting on the armor of our Confirmation and turning to fight a gangrenous filth that is eating out the heart of our Church. The Lord may have promised that the gates of hell would not prevail, but he also expected us to war against them.

And so we will fight. Our weapons are prayer, truth, and moral courage. And they are the only weapons we need. But now we need soldiers to take them up. It's your move. Start by sharing this blog with everyone you know. The Archbishop only has the courage to rage this reckless war against his own people because he believes you are all cowards and will never stand up against him. Prove him wrong. NOW!

*NOTE: I learned later that the person who stood up was not a member of the clergy, but a woman religious.

  1. You are correct about us parishioners of the cathedral. Last year under Msgr. Benavente I donated $1,500 to the cathedral parish (and I don't have a high-paying job) because he promotes the authentic Catholic teachings and practices. Now I am giving $1 a week in the offering plate. I refuse to support brutality, heresy and brainwashing.

    1. I donate 50.00 every Sunday for 1st collection and 10.00 for second collection not to mention the estra Sunday within a month. This does not include the added donation asked for the Fiesta of the Dulce Nombre de Maria or the extra giving for Holy Thursday, Good Friday, etc. You can say that the Cathedral Basilica loses 4,000.00 from my family on a yearly basis.

I'd now rather give my money to the Carmelites, the Friary building fund, and to the parish I now attend.

  3. BTW, now that Msgr James is in Tamuning, after hearing the remark of Father BB about Cathedral Parishioners coming to Tamuning and how he welcomes it because the collection will go up, I don't give to the Tamuning parish.

It just goes to show, that the only thing in BB's mind is the rising of the collection money. BB needs to retire too.

    1. As the saying goes, "Money is the root of all evil." It's a crying shame that this applies to some members of the clergy. But then, they are just as human as the rest of us and get tempted too.

    2. Anonymous (September 5, 2014 at 9:31 AM), the actual saying — straight from Sacred Scripture — is "For the LOVE OF MONEY is the root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced their hearts with many pangs." (my emphasis)

    4. When did Monsignor BiBI say this about money? Poor Msgr, going through Fr. Che's room after he died, looking for brown paper bags of money. Not funny, how money gets to people. Of course, we have to pay our bills. And our taxes.

  4. Let him try. He's so foolish he doesn't see that every ounce of persecution on Msgr. James brings him closer to figurative martyrdom in our eyes. So I say let the archbishop build a hero for our cause while relegating himself to the role of arch-villain. He's just mad because Msgr. James is more loved and well respected by the congregation. Well, that's what happens when you build ivory towers for yourself! The archbishop is his own worst enemy and he doesn't even realize it.

I just hope Tony continues to include all religious in the administration of the Archdiocese. We can offer an insight that might be missed by our male counterparts. No offense men, but we simply order compassion before logic.

PS - please note Tim, no additional names after Tony. I will try to keep it up, but as in the past, he just goes too far. But for now, I will be more civil. The rest is up to you-know-who if this lasts.

  7. WHERE ARE THE FINANCIALS?
Under Tony Baloney's request, Monsignor James was to have these ready by Aug. 15, and they were nearly ready. Now a new rector is in but the same deadline applies. So David the JCD, where are the financials? They should have been submitted last month, so why haven't we seen an update?

  8. PS - Tony. We note that the collections have plummeted. You do know what this means, don't you?
I guess people actually liked Monsignor James, and now show their feelings about losing him by despising you all the more. And your new rector has not been able to do a fraction of what your former rector was able to manage.
New question - whose responsible for mismanagement now?
Sorry - its David the JCD.
Wrong move again Tony. When will you ever learn not to listen to the dark schemes dreamed up by other people. You better add another two hours of prayer to your schedule...looks like you need all the help you can get!

  9. How conveniently timely that the RMS would employ off island assistance in reconciling financial state of concerns at the Seminary. Appears like desperation switch and hang. Yes Truth bears witness in the walls that have ears for discerning and disclosures of DECEPTIONS. If it is of a source of God's Light it would not continue the cover ups of LIES that trails behind the Archbishop and his Neo'd influence of dark despair. If it were not Providential, the surmounting evidence would not keep landing from the heavens. Jesus, we Trust in You!

Do not let them steer you to the brink and push you off when it gets too hot for them NeoCancers!

No, Msgr David Quitugua, the tall and mighty, (what happened to you, you used to be so intelligent and upright?) Msgr. James may not be JESUS CHRIST (Yes, the walls heard you when you made that snide remark, tsk tsk, you jealous "priest" you) but Msgr. 1. Who is rnot Christ Like? Archbishop Apuron celebrates anniversaries 4 times a year. His Bday, ordination into the Cap, ordination as Bishop and ordination as Archbishop. OOh all the envelops that come in for these occasions! At least when I give Msgr. James an envelop for his Bday, Feast Day, priestly anniversary, I would get a call from the pastoral center asking about names of family members because Msgr James turns in the money I would give and have masses said for my family members. Who is more Christ Like, the one who keeps the money or the one who turns it over for masses?

Unlike the Archbishop, Msgr. James has a way of approaching people. The Archbishop is afraid of people. Msgr. David is like a timid mouse who hides in the dark. Father Adrian on the other hand is something else. No words can describe is slick way of thinking.

Because of Msgr James' personality and his devotion to God and the Santa Maria Kamalen, people are so jealous of how many support him. Another priest, Pale' Mike is also one priest who knows how to reach to not only his parishioners but to the people in the community.

  11. What a travesty! It's these kinds of evil actions that's driving me to withhold my weekly tithing to our Cathedral-Basilica parish. I have also been teetering on moving to another parish, but then I look at my children and all the memories of their upbringing in our church come flooding back to me. How could I expect them to remain faithful to our parish and our Catholic teachings if I turn my back to Santa Marian Kamalen, who has been my source of light and grace? I stare up at her perched above and my heart aches! Our Mother, I will not abandon her! I look around me on Sunday mornings and my saving grace is knowing that my extended families (fellow parishioners) remain devoted to our parish. Lord, have mercy on us all. Continue to guide us and may we soon be freed from the ills that have found its way into our Diocese. We miss Msgr. James terribly and we will continue to pray for him and his family...my family. We hope to one day receive him back at our Mother Church to resume all the great things that he started! Biba Kåtoliku! Biba Santa Marian Kamalen!

    1. Sorry 9:59, Apuron is counting on people exactly like you. Santa Maria Kamalin is not a statue. She is with you and your family wherever you call on her. At this point your support of the Cathedral is a support of Apuron's despicable villainy and brutality against good priests. Take your family elsewhere and fight before there is soon nowhere else to go.

    2. I have heard this being told to some people. A story of a priest who was supposed to be heartbroken since his parishioners were saddened by his being moved to another parish. He reminded them to be connected to God and not to him. Under normal circumstances, this is wonderful. But if it is a sign of protest (to let somebody know that we do not approve of his ways), then, it should not be taken against them if they follow their pastor to another church. Of course, you can go to the Archbishop and tell him what is in your heart. But if this is difficult to do, what else can you do except show it in your absence.

    3. This is more than just showing your objection to the removal of Msgr. James. This is about showing your objection to the supplanting of the Catholic faith with a cult that believes very different things about the Mass and is openly defiant and hostile to the Magisterium as Archbishop Apuron himself has demonstrated.

"Apparently, the jungle just want us to follow their form of liturgy of which they only know."

"Apparently, the jungle just want us to follow their form of liturgy of which they only know."
That's funny because as long as you call yourself Catholic, it should be the FIRST thing to know
"Christ is BOTH my creator, my buddy, my friends, and my brother. So, yes, I can receive reclining at the table EXACTLY as the Apostles did when they received HIM at the table."
Well, you forgot that Christ is also your Savior and your Salvation, and if it weren't for his Sacrifice, there wouldn't be a Catholic Church.
      Think about that.

  12. Aww... what happened Archie? Your plan backfire?
A parish shouldn't have money if it is doing what it is supposed to, just enough to cover the CODB.
So you removed the pastor, and now the cathedral can't cover its bills... Why, because all the people followed the shepherd! You would'nt have had this problem if you hadn't done it in the manner that you did. You disgrace the Chamorro people! oops! I forgot you're muggle.
You disgrace Catholics! You really act like an outsider, someone not from this Island, or are you just trying to please someone not from this island? The same people who called us ladrones...They were really explaining who they are.

  14. In reviewing the members of the College of Consultors and the Presbyteral Council, I noticed that, per the Archdiocese of Agana 2013 Directory, the College has 7 members, of which 3 are from the NCW/Kiko rank — Msgr. David C. Quitugua, Fr. Adrian Cristobal and Fr. Jose Alberto Rodriguez — with Msgr. Brigido Arroyo possibly joining them, though not as a militant member. The remaining 3 — Fr. Joseph English, OFM Cap, Fr. Tom McGrath, SJ, and Fr. Jeff San Nicolas — are clearly in the minority (unless Msgr. Bibi decides to join them, which given what he said at the Clergy Meeting with the Nuncio, is highly unlikely to happen).

The Presbyteral Council is composed of 11 members, including the 7 above-mentioned individuals, as well as Msgr. David I.A. Quitugua (who interrupted Deacon Kim's dog and pony show during the first Clergy Meeting with the Nuncio), Fr. Jose "Lito" Abad, Fr. Pat Castro, OFM Cap, and Fr. Gus Gumataotao, OFM Cap. At least in this group the Non-NCW Clergy have a "fighting chance."

While it is not clear in my mind which group was sitting through AAA's Kangaroo Court when the questions "What is this all about? You are reading all these charges against Msgr. James, but where is he? Why are you telling us all this? Have you even spoken with him directly?" were raised, it IS clear that our Non-NCW Clergy are no longer willing to sit by silently, even while they risk being next on AAA's Chopping Block, per directives of the NCW hierarchy.

But these courageous members of the NON-NCW Clergy need to know that they do not stand alone. We, the members of the Roman Catholic Church Militant, are with them spiritually in prayer and will stand by them physically when needed.

Our Lady, Queen of the Clergy … Pray for our Priests, especially our Beleaguered Non-NCW Priests!

      Here are two simple formulas:
non neo administration + non neo parishioners with donations = financial stability

neo administration + selfish neo community takeover with minimal donations - non neo parishioners with donations = financial instability

BTW, it has been forty (40) days since the firing of Monsignor Benavente and neo administration takeover and it has also been 21 days since you required the financial statements from Monsignor Beneavente. You are 21 days late.. Do you have double standards: one for the neo administration and one for the non neo administration. Is it alright for you to be late as per the Archbishop deadline and fire Monsignor Benavente even though the deadline had not pass..
This is happening because your archbishop is neo and he is favoring all 500 neo followers. He does not give a damn about the 144,500 non neos. This is why your are going bankrupt. You need us to pay for your shenanigans. But now our eyes are opened.

  20. Just a suggestion regarding contributions within parishes, especially for those of you who contribute significant amounts of funds- An added possible safeguard in making sure your money only helps your parish would be to actually go into your parish office and see what recurring expenses the parish has every month with utilities, vendors, etc. and maybe possibly going straight to the vendor and paying down the parish's balance with your contribution. Some vendors might be willing to do this and some might not, but it's worth checking into. That way you can make sure your value dollars are directly going into helping keeping your parish functioning without having to worry about some of those dollars being siphoned off elsewhere to God knows where.

  25. Tim, first, I need to remain anonymous because I am one of about 300 registered parishioners, although I am not a resident of Agana. Like Anon Sep 5 8:34AM, I contributed over $3,000.00 to the parish collections last year. Up until, the scandal of Monsignor James by our Archbishop, I contributed faithfully to both the 1st and 2nd collections of the Cathedral coffers. I still go to mass at the Cathedral but I do not put any money into the 1st collection and only $1.00 to the second collection. As per your comment at 10:26AM, I believe that is what the Archbishop wants the Catholic Faithful to do. By abandoning our church, it gives him and his NEOCATS free reins into moving them into our SACRED church, the Cathedral-Basilica and eventually, remove our LADY of Santa Marian Kamalen. I believe, as a faithful Catholic, we need to stand together and not let them over-run our church. On a side note, I did attend one of their Ode to Joy invitation and I was astounded when people in the group starting talking about their indiscretions (sins) and I was Like, Did I come here to hear these people tell their stories of immorality, infidelity and all those other Sins. Well, it was my first meeting and the last meeting. Thank you, Tim Rohr for allowing us, the true Catholics of Guam see the errors of our Archbishop and Dear Lord, I apologize for thinking badly of our Shepherd, the Archbishop, but it is the Archbishop who is scattering his flock and only HE, as the Archbishop, can bring the flock back to the fold.

    1. Thank you Anon at 1:46. It was I who posted at 9:59. Like you I am not a resident of Agana, but a registered parishioner thereof. My loyalty is to Santa Marian Kamalen and not to AAA! We the parishioners ARE the Church. The power of Christ lives in the sacraments, of which this church -- as well as the other parish churches -- avail to us as Christians. The effect of the sacraments is INDEPENDENT of the sinfulness or unworthiness of the minister. Now, should it happen that AAA is presiding over the mass I am attending, I will be inclined to leave as his presence will undoubtedly have a negative effect on me...my thoughts and my soul. But for now, so long as Santa Maria remains, I too will remain. I am watching carefully to make sure that if there is any attempt to remove her, I will stand in unity with my parish family to protect her rightful place. FYI, I am grateful you have this forum and I visit it regularly to keep abreast with the goings-on with our Mother Church. For that un dangkalu na si Yu'os ma'ase for your insight and perspective into all that is happening around us, but please DO NOT insult my intelligence by saying that I am somehow showing allegiance to the AAA. My loyalty is to my God first...and to my family. Tayayuti ham Saina...

      Delete
    2. Dear 4:57. Since you are anonymous, neither you nor your intelligence can be insulted. So please allow me to share with you a few things to consider, and since you are anonymous, there is no need to take any of what I say personally.

I am assuming that your loyalty is neither to Santa Marian Kamalen or to AAA, but to Jesus Christ.

You are correct. We ARE the Church. But canonically speaking we have little control over the property of the Church, and that includes that statue. The archbishop makes a big deal about how he is a "corporation sole" and how he can do whatever he wants with church property. That's not true. But it hasn't stopped him. And you won't be able to either if he decides to get rid of Santa Marian Kamalen as they got rid of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Santa Rita or if he decides to turn the cathedral into a neocatechumenary.

You are also correct that the effect of the sacraments is INDEPENDENT of the worthiness of the minister. But it is NOT INDEPENDENT of the minister's intent. In order for the sacrament to be effected, the Church teaches that the minister must AT LEAST intend what the Church intends. Given Kiko Arguello's corrupt theology of the Eucharist (he does not accept that the sacrificial nature of the eucharist), we are no longer assured that we are really receiving the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ when we receive at a Mass presided over by a Kiko-made presbyter. In fact, this is why they use the word presbyter instead of priest. A priest is strictly "one who offers sacrifice." A presbyter is merely an "elder". In fact, Bishop Camacho from Saipan translates "presbyter" in his Chamorro language translation of the New Testament as "man'amko".

In the end, it doesn't matter to AAA who your allegiance is to so long as your body is in the congregation so the pews don't look so empty and your money is in the basket. So if you are going to stay at the Cathedral then good. Stay but fight. Challenge the archbishop or the priest when he uses the pulpit for anything other than what he's supposed to use it for. Challenge them when they desacralize the sanctuary with their neo-commercials and when they dance around the altar. Get to know your faith and challenge them when they teach anything other that what you can plainly read in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Stay. But fight.

      Delete
    3. For the love of God, no dancing around the Altar at the Cathedral Basilica. Hope this hasn't already happened.

Maybe he forgot the words of his mother, "Serve your brothers and sisters.", or his own words at the end of the video, " I took that motto (Servus Tuus) as a reminder for me, that in my Pastoral Ministry, I am here to serve the people." I wonder which people he is referring to? Fr. Pius? Gennarini? Kiko? His Neo bretheren? It must be them, because he sure isn't serving the non-Neo Catholics in his diocese, nor is he being obedient to the Holy Father and the Church. What a hypocrite! I'm sure his mother would want him to serve ALL his brothers and sisters, not just a select few. Maybe HE should watch his own video to remind him of those things!

  28. This movement is a 'hidden and dark' corporation...that branches out worldwide. It is a global mafia disguised as a legitimate entity under the protection of the Catholic Church.

Kiko and his commanders are very smart and able to solidify their 'statutes' so that those who oppose the Way can be dealt with 'legitimately'..

This company has lots of money to bribe and protect its people...it will take an act of GOD to take these people down....

remember the Anti-Christ....it's coming from within! Its trying to take control of the whole church....main prize is the Chair of St. Peter!

This will be the closest Kiko can be like GOD on this earth!

I don't give anything.....if we have no air condition....it will only show the "mismanagement of the new administration". I bring a fan.

Are there witnesses to this act of opening and checking the boxes????? Jucatan SHOULD have been studying to prepare his homily not playing TSA.

  31. The fact that God permits physical and even moral evil is a mystery that God illuminates by his Son Jesus Christ who died and rose to vanquish evil. Faith gives us the certainty that God would not permit an evil if he did not cause a good to come from that very evil, by ways that we shall fully know only in eternal life [CCC 324]

-and this is the reason for my post earlier....there are reasons for everything! on this particular post...it should be noted that Bishops are held to the highest degree of moral and physical responsibility to attend to GOD'S flock according to GOD'S will...

...continue to pray for the ArchBishop because he needs it....and trust me....he doesn't sleep well at night...contrary to what he was saying! LOL!

  32. Remember people, this is how governments are overthrown. Start small insurgent groups/communities, preying on the oppressed, depressed and weak. Empower them with your words and even use their faith/religion to inspire them. Tell them to bring their friends and as much money as they can. Bring in more influential and powerful people into the group, brainwashing and twisting reality for them. Expand your territory until you have gathered enough money, power and people to support your movement and elect a new leader who will do your bidding and be OBEDIENT to YOU and YOU ALONE. Sound familiar? Sounds like the Western Schism Part 2. For those who don't know what it is, the Western Schism, also called Great Schism, or Great Western Schism, in the history of the Roman Catholic church, the period from 1378 to 1417, when there were two, and later three, rival popes, each with his own following, his own Sacred College of Cardinals, and his own administrative offices.
If Rome doesn't reign in Kiko and his cult, we may very well see the election of a NCW Pope running the Vatican, which I believe is the ultimate goal of Kiko and the NCW.

    3. 621pm, those choir members and altar servers now goes to Maina & St. Anthony . Those parishioners who choose to stay at the Cathedral has cut down their donations a lot. I heard some of them just put in their envelopes without any money. I also hear from those who continues to attend mass there that collections after Msgr James was removed dropped by more than $5,000.00.

      Delete
    4. When the archbishop accused of Msgr. James of "financial mismanagement", that accusation was on us too, his former staff.

As for the altar servers, especially the Masters of Ceremonies who had left, myself included, saw Msgr. James' removal as if our father was taken away. He treated the altar server ministry as if we were his own children. He mentored, corrected and guided us so to accuse him of these lies pushed us away.

We did not leave because we are "devotees" of him as the archbishop had said about us, but because we refused to serve corrupted church leaders.

As a former staff, I saw this whole thing unfold at the innermost circle and it was a hostile takeover. How dare they send Jackie Terlaje and her husband to demand from us documents and information as if we were criminals! We did nothing wrong, yet they treated us as if we were headed to DOC. They started searching our offices, computers, files, etc. as if it were a crime scene and I'd like to call them out as to what they have found. If they were searching for money, they should have just said so because I would have helped them look for it because I very well know that times are hard and we really had to buckle down to pay for the bills that we never defaulted on.

A week went by and david didn't show up to give any new direction or to provide a transition. Their main goal was to simply sack the Cathedral, whether it was going to be pleasant or not. I turned my keys in with no problem because although they had the keys to the church, I knew they would not have the people and look at where they're at now.

So the reason why none of us are there anymore IS NOT because we wanted to follow Msgr. James, but because we all stood up against their corrupted and deceitful actions.

If they were smart, and Im surprised they're not given the fact one of them has a JCD, and went about this properly and professionally, things would have been different and maybe we all would have stayed.

archbishop, daivd and adrian are the ones dividing the church. And no, I will not refer to them as Father because they don't deserve it. A father would not do this to his children, nor a shepherd to his sheep..

    8. Isn't what they were doing illegal? Searching through what isn't theirs? Sounds like the German Gestapo tactic. I know that a search warrant wouldn't apply here because they aren't law enforcement officers. No letter from anyone at the Chancery authorizing them to do what they did? Wait, on second thought that would have left a paper trail. They should have been told to leave and if they refused it's called criminal trespassing right? Bottom line is that they had no authority to do what they did.

  43. I spoke to an elderly lady who has attending Cathedral for over 70 plus years. She told me she was so sadden by what the Bishop has done to Monsignor James. She went on to say, Monsignor James was a very good priest and cared for the Church. She further stated, she will pray for him and mentioned she was actually going to attend Mass at Tamuning now. Even our elders echo the same sediments most people feel now. This are very different and hostile now.

  44. Not to mean any disrespect towards the ladies and gentlemen that have stayed in Cathedral to sing/play as music ministers, as those named above, but the people are not looking for them.

    Obviously.

We know which music ministers the Parishioner are talking about and looking for.

Hint: They served at the only Sunday Evening Mass at the Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral-Basilica.

The ones that grew up at the Cathedral, got married, had children and stayed faithful to a "temporary" commitment, turned long-term, unequivocal devotion.

The ones that are no longer there for they have taken another path, the road that do not support lies, deceit, calumny and the travesty of utter human-violating acts.

They continue to pray fervently, even as they sit in the pews with hearts broken; their music silenced by benevolent acts against, not just Msgr. James, but the whole true Catholic Church of Guam, by Apuron and the leadership of the Neocatecumenal Way.

    1. I don't think speaking ill of our brothers and sisters - even those on the NCW side - amounts to anything more than gossip. Believe it or not, there are many wonderful people who are members of the NCW. I happen to know quite a few of them.

When we talk about the church and the difficulty it currently faces, the conversation never turns to discrediting or attacking anyone on a personal level - including Tim. There are some major points of disagreement, but we've all remained mutually civil, open-minded, tolerant, empathetic, and more importantly - we share many of the same concerns. In any case, I continue to view them as brothers and sisters in Christ and they genuinely reciprocate.

When commenting on blogs (here and Diana's), I find that many of us (on both sides) get caught up in the tense emotion, charged language, and group-think. I generally refrain from commenting but if an idea is important, I come back to it later and then edit and re-edit before submitting.

      Why?

I'd rather my comment go unrecorded than treat someone unfairly, commit slander, or reduce myself to petty name-calling.

Furthermore, if you're going to call someone's professional ability and ethics into question, sign your real name and provide some evidence. Otherwise, all you're doing is slandering someone and reducing the effectiveness of our cause.

I applaud Tim for refusing to allow comments with allegations against priests if the poster does not use his real name. With all due respect, maybe this courtesy (and safety measure) should be extended beyond the priesthood.

Her stand is WITH Apuron. Just ask the members of the choir Emmaus when they got chewed out by her, in Church, about asking questions regarding the bad occurrences sponsored by the bishop. She right about yelled at the ladies as she shushed them and demanded to stop any further inquiries!

She is also part of the spear-head that is trying to further incriminate Msgr. James, much to her surprise, we ALL know this.
