  1. Unfortunately I missed seeing this until it was too late. Is there any way a link to the interview can be posted here on JungleWatch so that it will be more readily available?

    Thank you.

  4. Please let this whole mess be over soon. Enough suffering. What will the devotees do if what is suggested is proved true.

  5. If he has evidence, forget going to the archbishop. Go straight to the police. Show the police the evidence and that will take care of everything.

    1. The evidence John has is past the statute of limitations for it to be legally handled as a criminal act. However, Archbishop Apuron himself recently stripped Fr. Wadeson of his priestly ministry for a 40 year old allegation due to the Archbishop's own zero-tolerance policy. Will the Archbishop strip himself of his ministry? Don't expect it from someone who sings "no one can get me."

    2. Statue is limitation may have expired, but the scars will always be there. How can someone live his life freely knowing that this is a sin he has committed. If this really occurred, did he apologize to this person?

    3. I thought Vice Speaker Cruz passed a bill lifting the statute of limitations on church related sexual abuse (whether strictly relegated to only minors or not, I am not certain) And I have no idea of the circumstances and case alleged by John Toves so it may no apply.

    4. He did. The bill became law in 2011 and lifted the statute of limitation for 2 years. No one came forward. And the "window" expired in 2013. There is nothing keeping from Senator Cruz or any other senator from introducing another "window" and this time I won't oppose it.

    5. Senator Cruz we need you back on board! Time to open the issue again and extend the statute of limitation. No one of any dignity will oppose you senator. Please consider extending for the good of our people and our church.

  6. This was one heck of an interview. A lot of underlying messages with a fair warning of the impending storm.

  7. This may be no "banana typhoon", but when it rains out here, it pours. So let's hope "you guys"get your raincoats and galoshes on standby. I had read somewhere in these Jungle comments that he/she knows John Toves well, and John does not pull punches. He's already mentioned that he intends to meet with AAA face to face, and will not show him any respect because AAA doesn't DESERVE respect. Such a sad testament! The $64K question is will AAA give John the courtesy of an audience, or even the time of day, or will John get the modus operandi treatment: "I see nothing; I hear nothing; I say nothing!" All bets are on! Let the game begin!

    2. No he won't. He will be here. Caught in a big net, trying to escape. Cornered and trapped. Sort of feel sorry for him. A very little. Just a month or so till Christmas. Maybe it will be one of real JOY.

  8. KEEP ALL OF OUR CHILDREN AWAY FROM APURON!!!

This is no laughing matter! If he is indeed guilty of molesting someone, anyone, we must protect our young and vulnerable. Guam and the islands are the perfect predatory grounds for pedophiles and sex offenders, as rightfully pointed out by John Toves. We put so much emphasis on not bringing shame into our families and not airing out our dirty laundry that children keep getting sexually degraded! As if it's the fault of the victim that they were victimized!!! No more, Guam, APURON, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

Ai Attorney Jackie Terlaje, open your eyes and be a GOOD MOTHER! Apuron has been seen publicly attending to YOUR children (SHUDDER)! We pray that Apuron has done NOTHING to them!!!

SNAP, PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS!!! Let Apuron prove his innocence, if he truly did not molest anyone!!! CRAZZZZZZYYYYYY!!!!

APURON AND NEOS, GET OFF OUR ISLAND!!!

    1. Maybe this is the reason AAA joined the NCW. A heavy burden to carry all these years, so he had to echo!

    2. 5.24pm. Correct.

    3. Anon @5:24pm makes a good point. If the Archbishop's community is aware of his past, they should be questioned as they may be withholding information. They should question his Responsibles Joe and Jackie Terlaje and Pius

    4. Archbishop aware of the disturbing history of the archdiocese even before the NCW searched for a religious order or organization to bring into Guam. Reason for this being the potential danger of revelations about him remained a possibility of being revealed by local people. Greater number of foreigners in the archdiocese loyal to him would be a protection plan. island people remained the greatest threat to him should they ever turn against him. In the past a Chamorro would rarely go against another Chamorro be it family or friend. So difficulties were often easy to cover. Not the case today. NCW created an ideal avenue to cover the past. Remember archbishop informed us the NCW is the future of Guam. Future of loyal foreigners to protect should local people go against him.

    1. Not only he sound like he is in kindergarten but not smart at all. These allegations are serious. Prepare yourself Tim, Chuck and John Toves. No fitness will save you nor your famous friends.

    2. LOL. Yes, the are SERIOUS. And according to the Archbishop's own policy and his previous actions he must remove himself.

    3. To the coward at 6.40, to start with your statement, in order to to judge someone's intelligence or smartness, you need to have some kind of a brain.
Tim, Chuck and John will not be saved by fitness, are you actually making a threat?
Obviously you have even less brain that it fist appeared.
If anybody tries anything physical at this time, the whole thing will blow up to a magnitude, you cannot even start to comprehend.
As far as law suit, believe me, the last thing the Bishop needs at this time, is a public trial. Too many people would love to be crossed examined in front of a court.
That would come on top of the Canon trial and the civil law suit brought by Fr Paul.
In other word, not the type of scrutiny Antony or the Ncw needs at this time.
Beware of what you wish for.

    4. To: NOV. 18th, 6:40 PM - I honestly do not think you are fully aware of the grievous impact of this allegation. According to the Archdiocese SARC policy, this has to be investigated, hence, Deacon Larry Claros is now responsible to start this process in order to perform his due diligence and not delay, misuse or misinterprets any information or proof presented.

If this is going to Rome, then Deacon Claros needs to start his inquiries NOW and not delay. He eventually will be called upon to see if he has performed his duty as the person now in charge of SARC for the Archdiocese of Agana.

Can't walk or hide from this one i'm afraid. It has now gone public has MUST be addressed. Lets see what our the new SARC administrator has planned. We pray he does the right thing for the right reason, as Fr. Paul would often say.

We are looking to you now Deacon Larry. Please perform your duties as required when you were given this responsibility by AAA. The Catholic Faithfuls will not wait too long for your findings. I am sure Rome and the other Bishops and Clergy that are monitoring this "allegations" are looking now to you for your next course of action. You are a Deacon, a member of the Clergy and we should not expect anything less than the TRUTH and proper and not misleading statements of your inquiry or investigation. You owe it to the Catholic Faithfuls, the People of Guam.

    5. Nothing against Deacon Claros, but doubting he has the training to handle this red hot situation. He will be at a loss as to how to approach. Giving out assignments to people who are not prepared. It hurts the person as much as the community. He need to do consultation with dioceses which have a lot of experience. Cardinal O'Malley said on 60 Minutes interview that Boston had 1100 accusations to handle at once. How many are there here in our small island Church?

    8. Deacon Claros receives his paychecks from the Archbishop and serves at his pleasure. Therefore he must recuse himself from this investigation to avoid charges of conflict of interest.
