AW SHUCKS, PASSED OVER

But meanwhile, Monsignor Soane Patita Paini Mafi, bishop of Tonga, Tonga Islands, and current president of CEPAC is elevated to cardinal by Pope Francis. Maybe Kiko's influence isn't what AAA though it was. Maybe it never was. No worries, Pope Kiko will have his own list.

  2. if Archbishop Apuron acted with real humility past years Archbishop of Guam could well have become a cardinal seat .

  3. apuron - archbishop
    mafi - bishop

apuron - two term president cepac
    mafi- first term as president

apuron - oversees 100,000+ catholics on guam
mafi - oversees a mere 15,000 catholics in tonga

Pope Francis picks Mafi to be cardinal. If that is not a loud and clear message (unintentional or not) I don't know what is. Praise GOD for the Pope's fantastic judgment! GOD BLESS THE PEOPLE OF GUAM AND TONGA.

  4. The new Cardinal-elect Mafi must have the Charism to reach out to ALL people. TripleA has none. Everything he does is the for me, look at me, me in the spotlight, it is all about the big MEEEEEEEEEEE!

  5. When you do not have the wisdom and temperament to judge and govern prudently and well, you are not qualified to be a Cardinal. AAA, by not disclosing to the diocese in Minnesota the fact that Fr. Louis is a sexual predator of boys particularly the boys scouts in Guam although he continues to pay Fr. Louis a monthly stipend, and to incardinate Fr. Wadeson (now we have to pay him a stipend for the rest of his life) without at least checking his background, is a fatal character fault. If AAA knew beforehand that Fr. Wadeson was permanently banned from the archdiocese of Los Angles because of credible sexual allegations against him involving minors, then even worse! It shows a mind that will do anything to achieve his end of building up the Neo in Guam, which he thinks is the salvation of the Catholic Church. AAA is delusional and incapable of good judgment. I pray that out of this crises, something good will come out of it so that the reconciliation and healing in Guam will begin. It cannot with AAA at the helm because as Monsignor Quitugua from Ordot said, you archbishop Apuron is the problem. God bless you all.

  6. Bishop Mafi is only 53 years old, and we hope that he will represent the indigenous people of the Pacific Islands as a Cardinal for many more years! By the way, he currently has 15 seminarians attending CEPAC's seminary, the Pacific Regional Seminary of St. Peter Chanel in Fiji. Fifteen! Maybe somebody could explain to me again why we aren't sending any seminarians there?

  7. Your Excellency AAA, Since you did not make the cut, doubt that you were ever considered after all the ruckus that you caused on our island Church. On hind sight, It was possible perhaps to have the NCW with their Novel, and heretical teachings coexist with the Fundamental Catholic Church, but it required a shepherd that is impartial to both sides, even if it was only on a pretend basis, knowing now that your heart was really NCW. However when you chose to be partial only to the NCW, and you started your rampage upon the church. The people saw it and cried out, your response was to burn the bridge after you. How then do you expect to lead when you have caused a great chasm between these two groups. A Church divided amongst itself will not stand -JC. Perhaps, retirement is an option.

  8. Looks like Kamalen Karidat will be selling the Cardinal vestments AAA had ordered in anticipation of making this list. Maybe he'll throw in the doll outfit he wore during the Dec. 8 procession.

  9. Kiko had his share.

Not only Ricardo Blazquez Perez is pro-NC: he even published some pro-NC books in the late '90s about "The NCW", "The New Evangelization", "Christian formation" etc, between 1988 and 2000.
