THE REAL VILLAIN

In addition to the unsigned garbage dump of a so-called internal review inserted into the U Matuna, Msgr. David C. Quitugua, Vicar General and Rector of the Cathedral Basilica had his own "internal review" distributed at all the Masses this past weekend, bashing Msgr. James all the more.

In his piece of crap letter, Msgr. David C. Quitugua accuses Msgr. James of leaving over $400,000 in unpaid bills.

Well, Msgr. David, even if that were true, you owe the people of Guam far more than that. In fact, not only do you owe the Archdiocese of Agana 44 Million Dollars, you owe us all an apology, and once you've done that, you owe us your absence for the rest of your silly little life.

Here's why:

On December 6, 2011, you wrote to the members of the Archdiocesan Finance Council the following:
I wish to make it known that the Archbishop requests that he be present in the meeting when item number 5 is discussed. Therefore, since he cannot be there, he wants the item tabled until he returns.
The finance council, as other consultative organs of the archdiocese, has the purpose of allowing the archbishop to obtain, not a binding opinion, but a consultation about facts or activities of the archdiocese.
The fact that the Archbishop wants to be present is his right because the function of the council is to help him. This help would work best with him present, especially since he has stated that he wants to be present.
To deny the Archbishop this right, on the one hand, breaks communion with him and, on the other hand represents a “vulnus” towards the Archbishop insinuating a form of disrespect toward his person.
For this reason, I again invite the council to wait for the Archbishop to return from Rome to have him present when the issue is examined and reviewed.
Regarding myself, I cannot support with my presence a behavior which could harm the dignity of the Ordinary. I will not be present in the meeting today.
Now let's take this apart piece by piece, IN LIGHT OF THE FACT that you KNEW about the Deed of Restriction, giving control of the Accion Hotel property to RMS in perpetuity, 15 days previously, on November 22, 2011.
I wish to make it known that the Archbishop requests that he be present in the meeting when item number 5 is discussed. Therefore, since he cannot be there, he wants the item tabled until he returns.
Item number 5 was a discussion about the request by the seminary rector, Fr. Pablo Rodriguez, to convey the title of the Accion Hotel property to the Redemptoris Mater Seminary (RMS).

Msgr. David, YOU KNEW that the property had ALREADY been given to RMS via the Deed of Restriction on November 22. Yet on December 6, you tell the AFC that the Archbishop wants the discussion "tabled".

Why did you not tell them the truth Msgr. David? Why did you not tell them that there was no more discussion since it was already a done deal? Why did you lie, Msgr. David? Why did you lie?
The finance council, as other consultative organs of the archdiocese, has the purpose of allowing the archbishop to obtain, not a binding opinion, but a consultation about facts or activities of the archdiocese.
This is another lie, Msgr. David. As the Vicar General, you knew that the transfer of the property to RMS required the CONSENT of the finance council as per Can. 1292, and that in this matter, the AFC was NOT simply a "consultative organ", and that in fact, the AFC opinion WAS BINDING. Yet, you lied, Msgr. David. You lied. You lied. You lied.

Can. 1292 §1. Without prejudice to the prescript of ⇒ can. 638, §3, when the value of the goods whose alienation is proposed falls within the minimum and maximum amounts to be defined by the conference of bishops for its own region, the competent authority is determined by the statutes of juridic persons if they are not subject to the diocesan bishop; otherwise, the competent authority is the diocesan bishop with the consent of the finance council, the college of consultors, and those concerned. The diocesan bishop himself also needs their consent to alienate the goods of the diocese.
To deny the Archbishop this right, on the one hand, breaks communion with him and, on the other hand represents a “vulnus” towards the Archbishop insinuating a form of disrespect toward his person.
Oh, this is good, Msgr. David, this is good. A "vulnus", huh. Really? A "vulnus"? A "vulnus towards the Archbishop when YOU AND HE HAD ALREADY SIGNED OVER THE DAMN PROPERTY?

Hell, the only VULNUS here, Msgr. David is your freaking "vulnus" against the Catholic faithful of this archdiocese. The only "breaking of communion" going on here is you and the archbishop "breaking communion" with us. The only "form of disrespect" going on here is the disrespect you have shown us, by signing away that property and then accusing those tasked with protecting the people of this archdiocese from thieves and crooks like you of a freaking "vulnus" against Gennarini's house pet. You lied again, Msgr. David. You lied. You lied. You lied.

"Vulnus" is Latin for "wound".
Regarding myself, I cannot support with my presence a behavior which could harm the dignity of the Ordinary. I will not be present in the meeting today.
The "dignity of the Ordinay"? What dignity? You and he had already gone behind the backs of the AFC and the people of the archdiocese and gave away that property! And after lying to the AFC you talk to us of "dignity". What the hell?

You both had already willingly and knowingly harmed the dignity of both your offices, the Church, and the Catholic faithful of this diocese. And you talk about dignity? What?

YOU are the real VILLAIN, Msgr. David C. Quitugua, Vicar General!

For whereas Adrian is just a bumbling idiot, and Apuron simply Giuseppe Gennarini's stooge, YOU knew better all along. You knew that you were lying to us. You knew that deeding away control of that property was wrong (otherwise there would have been no need for your Dec. 6 charade). You knew that there was no "vulnus" against the bishop because by December 6, you and he had already DONE THE DEED!

You knew. You knew. You knew. And you lied. You lied. You lied.

And then you are going to give us some bull crap about Msgr. James and how he left you with a few bills? You owe us 44 freaking Million Dollars, Msgr. David C. Quitugua. And then you owe us your absence. FOREVER!

  1. Looking at The VG school picture and reading about his LIES and cunning is a VULNUS to my heart. Why would a priest who went to seminary at our expense join the neo and claim to be at the service of our Archdiocese? Brainwash victim. Not enough strength to fight of Pius? Wimp.

    1. A NEO Church

Msgr. David the new presbyter at the NEO-Basilica in Barrigada spent the first four days making personal visits to each of the NEO members, inviting them to come to his first service. The following Saturday, the NEO church was all but empty. Accordingly, Msgr. David placed a notice in the U Matuna,, even to a local NEO blog, stating that because the NEO church was dead, it is everyone’s duty to give it a decent NEO burial. The NEO funeral would be held the following Sunday afternoon, the notice stated.
Morbidly curious, a NEO crowd turned out for the “NEO-funeral.” In front of the NEO pulpit, they saw a closed “Kiko” coffin, smothered with “Kiko” flowers. After the Msgr. David delivered his testimony, he opened the “Kiko” coffin and invited his NEO congregation to come forward and pay their final respects to their dead NEO church. Filled with NEO curiosity as to what would represent the corpse of a “dead NEO church”, all the NEO people lined up to look into the “Kiko” coffin. Each “NEO mourner” peeped into the “Kiko” coffin then quickly turned away with a guilty, NEO sheepish look. In the “Kiko” coffin, tilted at the correct angle, was a large “Kiko” mirror!

    1. The bishop does not have to be at the meeting. His representative in his absence, in all manner of business in the archdiocese, is the Vicar General. Notice that AAA does not say NOT to have the meeting, but only to table a certain item. He does not forbid the meeting because the meeting can go forward with the presence of the VG. This is why in order to stop the meeting altogether SINCE HE KNEW HE WAS LYING, the VG says he will not attend. The meeting was then cancelled.

  3. Are you feeling sick again Monsignor David? Do you need still more training and more time to handle all this stress? Do you want Tony Apuroni to come to your defense so that everyone doesn't talk about you anymore? Do you want to play hide and seek in Chicago? I hear the weather is nice and cold.

  6. It's getting harder and harder to wade through all the 'noise' and just find the facts...on both blogs. It's getting uglier and dirtier by the hour. I fear if Rome doesn't do something soon, we will be past the point of no return. Auntie Carmen's tearful plea is REAL and felt by many.

    1. I'm sorry you even think you can find "facts" on the other blog. Why would you lower yourself to even think that's possible? Never mind the comments on my blog. Look to my posts. I document everything that matters. Ask "the other blog" to do the same and you'll get: "the pope told us."

  8. Shame on you, especially because you are a local Chamorro and you aided the Neo's and give away our assets forever. You Also will be remembered as terrible priest who condemned our Church on Guam. Shame on you Monsignor David!

  9. Shame on David. Archdiocese paid ten years of studies in Rome and you give away our assets for ever. Shame shame shame shame . What a disgrace to our island home .

    1. Ten years in Rome is more than enough time to associate with the wrong people in the Roman Curia. Pope Benedict XVI knew of the corruption in the Curia involving sex (homosexual), money, and blackmail among the "narcissistic" and power hungry members of the Curia but was ineffective for the most part. Pope Francis has a tough battle ahead of him and he needs our prayers and support. Meanwhile, Guam Catholics have their own fish to fry starting with the big ones on the hill.St. Michael, lead us to victory!

    2. Very few friends in Rome. Most of his time he spent in Chicago. Apuron allowed this very unusual situation to go on for years!!!!!!!!!!

  10. How is it possible that a priest, a man of the cloth, a man called to be holy and serve can lie so easily and participate in unholy activities meant to deceive and divide those who are spiritually in his care? Am I the only one on this Island who finds this totally unacceptable behaviour from a priest, let alone the vicar general? How do spiritual leaders like David sleep at night knowing their soul is in peril of not receiving their heavenly reward? Should I continue to follow and listen to the words of a known liar when he celebrates mass or gives the homily? David, you are a hypocrite. You should step down and step away from the presence of the Lord at the altar until you have cleared your conscience and reconciled with God and those whose souls you are leading to hell with you everytime you step into the church! A diseased body mind and spirit, a failing health and a failing fruitless ministry, when you leave this world and stand before God, do you really expect to hear, "well done good and faithful servant?"

    1. David allowed gift of priesthood to be corrupted by the need for money, power, position. Prime example of the kind of priest the pope is warning priests not to be .Corrupted by the need for power and position. Greed so intense for power he set out to destroy Monsignor James.

  12. I shudder at the thought that he was once considered an apt bishop material. Not by any stretch of the imagination should this singular action be deleted from his blotter/CV. He aided the malicious deed of alienating church property by lying to protect apuron. What an ungrateful piece of bones, the faithful of the Archdiocese sends him to Theology School in California and on to Canon Law in Rome (the latter took more or less 10 years to finish so he can savor "la dolce vita" such as gelato, pizza and pilgrimages at our expense. What a liar. What a hypocrite!

  13. We will never accept David as Archbishop Of Agana . Vatican is aware.

  14. Give him a little bit of slack about the Windy City. He is friends with Ms Laura Souder and family, longtime respected residents of Agana Cathedral. That is one family that hosts him there. His association with them does not have bearing on the cowardly and complicit attempt to protect apuron. His lack of backbone is his own responsibility, and so is his cold heartless way of treating others.

  15. Cold heartless way of treating others so true 2.14pm. His evil ways have been operating for years. Evil priest sold his soul to Satan for money, position, power in Apuron's kingdom. His sole purpose was to destroy good priests, seek the Agana Arcdiocese and after love like Apuron himself. Junglewatch put an end to all this. Now we just have to remove him and we will.

  19. What distinguished contribution did david quitugua do to deserve the title "Monsignor". This guy is sick all the time, never hear from him during a crisis in the church, always in hiding, behind the scenes, even when Archie is absent, He hardly assumes the position of Leader in place of AAA in his absence. If he is unable to lead, How will he assume the position of Bishop? We now learn that he is just another liar just like his boss? David, doesn't your conscience convict you when you do something Wrong ? Even when your boss is wrong, do you not know that it is ok not to follow him on this basis? Is your job worth more than your soul that you follow Archie even when what he is doing as the leader is questionable? Dont you have the courage to do what is right? But It appears that you do not have a backbone to hold you up, You're just another puppet for Kiko and Gussipi, an instrument to be used and discarded when they are done using you..

    4. Drivers are relative . If Monsignor David has a disability which prevents him driving it is acceptable to have a driver. if Guam Traffic is difficult to drive in then it maybe justified to seek help with driving. But if David just wants to be driven to show position and power then clearly he does not require a driver.

      Delete
    5. if David is too sick to drive himself, why is he still in office? Retire already, why keep taking up space and doing nothing at all. You have also burnt the bridge behind you David, you are a shame and disgrace to the people of Guam, All your efforts are expended teaching the NCW, but it was the faithful and generous people of Guam that paid your way to school. The gratitude that you show them in return is a spit on their faces Tai Mamalao na taotao hao!!!!!

  20. People who know this often-ill priest to have struggled at St. Patrick's Seminary. He was not advanced to ordination by the seminary. He was rejected to proceed. He went to finish school at Berkley. St. Patrick Seminary rejected him because of serious psychological issues. Turns out they were on target. So, David vicar general, why were you rejected for ordination? Why did the seminary feel you should not be ordained? Well, no need to explain, we can see why. The were correct and we can attest to that NOW. Wasn't Adrian also rejected and not advanced to for ordination? There seems to be a pattern here between David and Adrian. Tim, maybe someone should look into why they were not recommended for ordination.
