AND HE IS NOT SMILING

I am sure that the person who sent me this video did not send it to me to show what I am going to use it for.

Since it was sent as a comment to the post CLASSIC wherein "the Diana" pontificates on Rome's approval of "our liturgy", it was probably sent as "proof" of the supposed approval since the accompanying note lists a few high ranking cardinals in attendance.

NOTE TO SENDER: Our Church (the real one) governs her liturgy through authoritative magisterial documents via the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Sacraments, not YOU TUBE. This is a subject I'll come back to.

Meanwhile, let me thank the sender anyway because - and it seems only the Holy Spirit could have planned this - the camera catches Kiko's face at the precise moment Pope Francis makes the joke about being "paid" to bless their (pretend) missionaries. And he is NOT smiling. Kiko knows.

It's about 20 seconds into it.

  1. When Pope Francis said he was not being paid to endorse the NCW, was he implying that some other members of the high-ranking Clergy present were?

    1. An excellent observation, Anon. It was quite clear that Francis was not just making a joke but sending a message. First a message to the world that this was not his idea. Second a message to Kiko that he doesn't take kindly to being used. And third is your point. Francis knows that many influential cardinals and bishops are bought and paid for in a variety of way and for a variety of uses by influence peddlers, the Neo only being one. And given his cleaning up of that kind of corruption in the Vatican just now, it probably was a direct aim.

  2. Tim, I just watched this video clip. Noticed on the large charte which I assume are the places NCW functions, Kiko makes no mention of Guam. An observation.

    1. Yes, others have made the same observation. However, the chart is only showing which countries the so-called missionaries will be going to and how many of them (the number in parentheses).

  3. Did you notice the latest appointment coming from the Archdiocese included the words "for six years." If I am not mistaken, this is the first time that was specified. They're trying to really convince people that the RMS is for Guam. But why only six years? And why the need to even say it? Has anybody kept track of the first graduates. Were are they now. And how long if ever they served on Guam?
