SHAMEFUL! ....AND THE BRONZE SHOE

What can we say about Apuron's "A personal letter to the people of God in the Archdiocese of Agana" (published in today's U Matuna) other than SHAMEFUL!

He positions the "attack on me personally" in the context of ISIS massacres and the Supreme Court attack on Christian marriage.

WOW!

And he calls on us to return to "decency and respect" and to "seek reconciliation among our brothers and sisters"!!!!!!

YOU FIRST, ARCHBISHOP.

  • Have you apologized personally and publicly for your public humiliation of Father Paul and Msgr. James and have you made amends with both? NO!
  • Have you sought reconciliation with the Lastimoza family and apologized for dragging them into hell, and especially to the Lastimoza children for publicly inferring that their father was in a homosexual relationship with Fr. Paul? NO!
  • Have you apologized to the members of the AFC who you and your Vicar General chastised with the most vile crap when in fact - as we now know - they were doing exactly what they were supposed to do? NO!
  • Have you sought to remedy the fraud you perpetrated on the Catholic faithful of this island by secretly giving away The Property? NO!
  • Have you apologized to "the donor's representative" for asking her to lie for you? NO!

What? And you tell us that these are "pastoral works"???

WT____?!!!!!

Oh, and here's the real funny! You say "They have used the media extensively to undermine my reputation and my moral authority." LOL.

  • You apparently have NO PROBLEM using "the media extensively" - as you do every Sunday in the U Matuna to attack your enemies.
  • You apparently had NO PROBLEM in sending out a press statement detailing all the alleged crimes of Msgr. James - something you did several times while never permitting Msgr. James himself to see those charges nor did you permit him to defend himself.
  • You had NO PROBLEM issuing a press release accusing Fr. Paul of being a "danger to children".
  • You had NO PROBLEM speaking to a group of thirty clergy and telling the most outrageous lies about Fr. Paul.

LOL. I guess you got a copy of the "bronze shoe" and you know what's coming. That's why this letter.

And your "moral authority"????? How about your "immoral authority" which you have demonstrated to a sickening degree.

Here's a reminder of your example of your idea of seeking "reconciliation" - escaping out the back door of the St. Anthony Spiritual Center after the clergy meeting with the Apostolic Visitors last January as dozens of Catholics waited for you at the front door.

I was going to do a full post with commentary on the BRONZE SHOE. However, Apuron's ridiculous, shameful, and narcissistic attack on those who question him has prompted me to give you the guts of it NOW. A commentary will follow along with a posting of the full opinion.

Jacques G. Bronze. Legal Opinion regarding Real Property Conveyance and Corporate Governance relating to The Redemptoris Mater House of Formation. a Guam Non-Profit Corporation. May 13 2015.

The Declaration of Deed Restriction executed on November 21, 2011, by the Grantor, for that certain land located at 130 Seminariu Drive, Yona, Guam, recorded at the Department of Land Management as Instrument No. 829322, in favor of RMHF operates to transfer a present interest and is an absolute conveyance in fee simple, of the subject real property to RMHF, divesting all right, title and interest of the subject property from the Grantor, except for the subject restraint in use. (Pg 2)

In the instant case, the Deed executed by Grantor, provides in its granting clause that “…Owner hereby covenants and declares that the Property is and shall be held, used, transferred, sold and conveyed, subject to the covenant and restrictions set forth herein...” (Pg 5)

By examining the four corners of the subject Deed and applying the aforementioned rules of interpretation the only conclusion that can be interpreted is that the Grantor intended to transfer a present interest in the subject property. (Pg 5)

In light of the case authorities from California interpreting the words “transfer” and “convey,” the Deed executed by the Grantor herein evidences a clear intent to transfer a present interest in subject property to RMHF. (Pg 6)

In the instant case, the named grantor and grantee are identified and a description of the real property located in Yona, Guam is provided in the deed. Moreover, as discussed above, the deed contains operative words of an intent by the grantor to transfer a present interest in the subject real property. (Pg 7)

The Grantor’s conveyance of the subject property “…to and for the use, of the Redemptoris Mater Archdiocesan Missionary Seminary of Guam,…in perpetual use as a see of the Redemptoris Mater Archdiocesan Missionary Seminary of Guam…,” operates as a complete divestment of the Grantor’s right title and interest in the subject property, but subject to a restraint in use. (Pg 8)

The Deed executed by the Grantor, must be examined in its entirety. The case law provided above clearly provides that such an instrument can be considered a complete conveyance if it can be determined from the language that there is an intent to convey an interest in the real property. The instrument appears to fit squarely within the definition of a conveyance, as provided by 21 G.C.A. § 40302, despite the property being encumbered by a restriction However the restriction noted in the deed, may be invalid under Guam law, which this opinion letter does not address at this time. (Pg 9)

In this case, the granting clause of the deed conveyed the fee forever, in a strong, unequivocal language as could be used to convey a present interest in real property, subject to a reasonable restraint in use. The Ownership and the Encumbrance Report issued by Pacific American Title and relied on by the Archbishop that the subject property remains in the corporation sole, is legally unsound as there is no basis in law to supper the title company’s legal conclusion. (Pg 12)

  2. Dear Archbishop Apuron:

This letter is written in response to your personal letter to the People of God in the Archdiocese of Agana. I am one of those individuals whom you’ve referred to who have attacked you. In case you are still not aware of the cause of the relentless attack on you on Junglewatch. You claimed that we want you to “retract a number of decisions that I made for the good of the Church” Archbishop are you serious??? How is giving away 40 million dollars worth of asset to the Way good for our Church??? How is training 40 Neo seminarians for the Archdiocese good for those who choose to be forever non-neos good for us? How is the firing of both Monsignor Benavente and Father Gofigan good for us Catholics? Incidentally, my wife and I attended Mass at St. Anthony’s last evening, and had the great experience of his wonderful Homily. Archbishop, these two wonderful priest were both deeply respected by their flock and you have cause both these priests and their families such grieve and for what? It was to insure that these priests under direct instructions from Kiko are not made Bishop upon your retirement.

“Some want me to retract a number of decisions that I made for the good of the Church” Are you serious Archbishop? Are you not aware that the only good that you have tried to do for the past 30 years is for the good of the Way. You have abandoned us. You gave away RMS, you have already taken over 7 Parishes, and there are another 44 seminarians under formation, all for Guam. This is because “your pope”, Kiko, believes that the Parish model that has been around for two thousand years has to be replaced by communities. Kiko, your puppet master, is the cause of this division that exists in our Archdiocese. The Laity are the ones under siege.

It is indeed a sad commentary that it is your Flock who are fighting for their Faith as taught by Jesus Christ and our “Shepherd” is the one trying to destroy the Faith as we know it. I never thought I would see the day that the sheep would be the ones who are trying to uphold the Faith. The reason why I am strongly oppose to the Way is for all our grandchildren who would be formed by the teachings and practices of the Way, if we do not resist this movement.

Archbishop, I am hopeful that this year the Jubilee year will be a year that will once again begin renewal in bringing about a return to the One True Catholic Faith. I am praying that Rome will indeed understand our frustrations and appoint a Shepherd that will begin the healing. One thing that I want to give you credit for is that you have awaken thousands of Catholics to once again rise to defend their Church. You have made us stronger Catholics. We have been put to the “fire” and the Guam Catholics have proven that our Faith is Strong and Alive.

Archbishop, understand that I do not take pleasure speaking against you. However, as long as you continue to try to force the Way on us, we as well will continue our fight to Keep Our Church in communion with Rome.

    Respectfully,

    Thomas Tanaka

    1. With the above legal opinion, it's time for the Catholic faithful of Guam to pursue a "Class Action" suit against the person of Apuron. It is only fitting that his personally amassed wealth be tapped to restore what he himself had personally given away to his beloved NCW cult.

  5. Well it's July. I'd like to know when Kiko is in town.

  6. Kat, Giuseppe Gennarini usually visits in July, not Kiko. But if Mr. Gennarini does visit Guam this month, maybe he could take the opportunity to tell us how much his son, Francesco, has been paid to date in architectural fees for projects on Guam...The unbuilt Sanctuary of the Word at the RMS, and the never-built Santa Rita " catechumenary" come to mind. And then perhaps he could tell us if his son is licensed to practice in Guam.

    2. Yes, we'd like to know where all the money from the multiple fundraisings and from donors for the Santa Rita pastoral center went. Heard it went as far as being designed. And what a slap in the face to our local architects that Father Fabio had to go to an off-island firm to do the job!

      Delete
    3. He didn't just go to an off island firm. He went to Gennarini.

      Delete
    4. He went to Gennarini who got his son Francesco a piece of the action. All construction drawings do have to be signed off by an architect licensed on Guam, and before doing so, the local architects would have to convert meters to feet on the drawings generated by Kiko's boys and revise the drawings to include locally available construction materials and fixtures. $$$

I understand that Francesco Gennarini was also given a piece of the "Sanctuary of the Word" project at the RMS. That project was designed by Mattia del Prete, one of Kiko's lieutenants and his key architect. They were supposed to use the same design as the RMS chapel in Macerata, Italy, so the design costs should have been minimal. Let's ask Giuseppe how much his son and Mattia del Prete were paid for that project.

    5. These continued questions about fundraising money collected reminds me of the same cases of money raised to build both San Vicente and Santa Barbara Churches. When the late +Very Reverend Monsignor Zoilo Camacho became pastor, he inherited a congregation filled with anger and doubt. Through his strong conviction, he set a path to set things right. The fruits of unifying the flock are now seen thru the skillfully typhoon proof structures you see today in both San Vicente and Santa Barbara. A true spiritual shepherd who clearly loved his flock. A lot of this passion was passed on to Very Reverend Monsignor James Benavente as he too served Monsignor in Dededo as a seminarian. You can see this thru the many upgrades of the Cathedral Basilica. Sadly, Monsignor James was removed too soon for the people to enjoy a museum that has been taken down by David the NEO Cult Presbyter General. Sad times are brewing in Guam, as the Flock continue to question "where are the fruits from the fundraising and donations" It really saddens me to see three great priests that were incardinated in Guam (Monsignor James, Father Paul and Father Efren) that will never be a Pastor while AAA sits on the throne. I see half baked NEO/NCW Cult Presbyters being assigned as pastors over these great men of the cloth that are very much loved by the communities they serve.

    6. I don't understand how the parishioners can be fooled once again into raising money to renovate a Sanctuary that has met the strict guidelines of the Catholic Church. The late +Very Reverend Monsignor Zoilo Camacho with the approval of the late +Most Reverend Archbishop Flores saw to it that the Sanctuary was in accordance with Vatican standards. It;s all about the money and making Anti-Christ Kiko and his Family rich from the "so called None Catholic locals they claim to have saved". Time now to react; stop the money and protest this illicit cults existence. Time for AAA to retire or step down as he clearly has lost his "WAY" with the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church in Guam.

    6. at 10:37. There is seriously no doubt that Apuron alienated the property. That part does not have to be proved in court, but it certainly could be further clarified by a court case. At issue now is whether Apuron and Gennarini conspired to defraud the archdiocese.

  12. So many people against poor Tony. I guess the Umatuna does not count as media. Then again if you read it lately it probably does not count for media, at least not much. "Decency and respect.." is a two way street. Show some and we may show some as well. You have lied, stolen and betrayed your own people, yet you feel like your flock has turned on you? Get real, or at least get some reality. Your "oral authority" comes when the flock can believe you. Even dumb sheep know that following their Shepard off a cliff is not a good idea, if the Shepard does not really care for them. Show us you care. Reinstate Fr. Paul and Monsignor James. Return the Yona property. Those will be good steps to reconcile. Ball is in your court. Waiting, waiting, waiting....

    1. I never hyped it as an "ultimate ending". It could be if Rome actually did its job. And we are giving them a chance to do so (see my latest post). Meanwhile, the CCOG now has in hand the necessary documentation to take legal action. What kind of legal action is yet to be determined. One thing for sure though, it proves Apuron to be a LIAR, as if we needed any more proof.

also, any way we off-island people can read apuron's letter from sunday's u matuna? they don't update their website very promptly. it's clearly an attempt by apuron and his people to preemptively strike before the coming shoe-drop.

He should first straighten out his own kiko presbyters. It appears Fr Luis Camacho used Tony's oral authority without permission.

I guess it was that way with tony, his conception of self

Aloof from those of who are around him, he exists in a world of his own creation, a world in which he had importance, a world in which he was somebody, now, backed into a corner by egotistical necessity, he is a little lost and a little helpless

It was the first time I had ever seen him, and all his poise seemed suddenly to evaporate, his righteousness seemed to wilt and all his ponderous posturing with words became empty and pityful

  24. The shepherd has become a victim of endless personal attacks via the media. These attacks have caused him to pray more intensely. Really?! What about the attacks you made against Fr. Paul and Monsignor James? Aren't those attacks? Did you pray over those?
The shepherd has made decisions in the best interest of the Church that some are asking him to withdraw. And what decisions might those be? Is it in the best interest of the Church that you choose NOT to be transparent about where the money is really going? That you and your advisors are coming up with these "collections" for this and for that and in reality, it's just to funnel more money into the NCW. Don't you think your "flock" deserves honesty from their "shepherd"? Why hide behind the letters of other authors? Everything you say is so scripted. Speak for yourself!
This letter to the people is just another farce! Archbishop, why does everything always have to be about you? revolve around you? Why are you trying so desperately to have the people pity you? You stopped being a shepherd to your flock a long time ago!!! You continue to deceive and betray the flock that are entrusted to your care. I ask you, is that in the best interest of the Church? Was it in the best interest of the Church when you continuously maligned and publicly humiliated local priests? Sons of Guam? Was it in the best interest of the Church when you denied Aaron Quitugua sponsorship to an accredited seminary, even when he offered to fund his own tuition? Was it in the best interest of the Church to erect a fake seminary to try and appease the people? This seminary you claim glory for is just a boarding house, and everyone knows the men there attend classes at RMS, so you and your cohorts can try to brainwash them into the NCW thinking, and worse, have people donate to an institution that is a facade! Was it in the best interest of the Church when you served the multi million dollar Yona property on a silver platter to your NCW gods? Was it in the best interest of the Church when you sent Luis Camacho off to a luxurious getaway to keep him shielded from the crime he committed? Was it in the best interest of the Church to have Larry Claros lie over and over again about the canonical investigation into the Camacho "affair"?
What else Archbishop is in the best interest of YOUR Church? To continue to try and scam money and property from the man'amko and take advantage of your "flock"? Who's best interest are you really interested in Archbishop?
Stop being a hypocrite, calling for reconciliation because it's the Jubilee Year...the faithful are smarter than you think. YOU should be the one to do what's right and reach out to the thousands you have hurt through your actions. But you continue to play the puppet, following the instructions given to you by Adrian, David and the other Kikobutts. If you still have a conscience Archbishop, then come clean and tell the truth to the flock you claim to shepherd. Enough of the BS! You talk about what the Holy Spirit wants?! Why don't you do what he calls you to do? Why don't you ask the Holy Spirit to help you get off the self-pity train you're always riding and help you make a good examination of conscience. You want respect? Earn it! Although, gaining the respect of the local faithful after everything you've done "in the name of the Church" seems a bit impossible.
