LET'S HELP THE JOKER

From Susan's blog:

junglewatch is also accusing the NCW of being AIRPORT CATHOLICS. Do the research, their(Latin Rite Fans) Spiritual Director(Fr. Eric) has been off-island many more times than our archbishop and even Fr. Pius. Birds of a feather flock together. Whats even worse is that this priest has been to manila on numerous occasions this year just to go shopping. Hes now in California just for the end production stage of a DVD. So if they want to criticize the Archbishop, NCW members and RMS Priests for their travel patterns, go right ahead. Then we should take a tally of all travel made by ALL priests of this archdiocese to include their purpose of the trip and their detailed itinerary. Lets find out where they went, where they ate, where they slept at night, where they shopped, where they had their entertainment at, where they played their video games and while we're at it lets just request for who traveled with them and why did they have to go.
Come on people apply the standards to everyone.

-Jokers Wild

First, a little housekeeping. Let's help the Joker. He seems to lack a basic understanding of the Catholic Church. (Understandable since he's not Catholic.)

"their (Latin Rite Fans)"

"Latin Rite" refers to the "majority rite" in the Roman Catholic Church. A "Latin Rite" Catholic refers to any Catholic who lives in an area (mostly western Europe and northern Africa) where Latin was once the dominant liturgical, as well as educational and diplomatic language. As Latin was once the dominant language of the liturgy here in Guam, the Catholic Church on Guam is considered a Latin Rite church and if you went to Mass this morning, regardless of where, then you attended a "Latin Rite" Mass.  What the uneducated Joker is trying to refer to is a "form" of the Latin Rite, officially known since 2007 as the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite

"(Spiritual Director) Fr. Eric"

The people who attend the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite do not form a canonical community and thus there can be no spiritual director for the group since there is no group. The People who attend the Mass are simply people who attend the Mass, and aside from a a small group of regulars, the faces often change.

As for his being off-island, Fr. Eric is not a parish priest and is not assigned to a parish. He is a Capuchin and his official position at the moment is Development Director and Communications Director. He is also an historian and a writer and is regularly called upon to assist mainland Chamorro communities which he does regularly every Fall. All of the above necessitate travel.

Fr. Eric makes no secret of his travel. He diligently announces his itineray to those he works with and he regularly posts pictures of his activities when he is away. Additionally, being a Capuchin, Fr. Eric is under obedience to his superior who - since as a Capuchin he has no personal funds - must okay both the travel and the release of funds to do so.

Conversely "Tony" (as J. Bautista calls him) - aka Archbishop Apuron - even though he is the chief pastor of the Catholic Church on Guam - is often away for nobody knows what. Even his priests (except close neo-buddies) do not know where he is or when he comes and goes. We only learn of his whereabouts from others who see him on his travels. The archbishop is ASSIGNED to this diocese. And it was to diocesan bishops such as Apuron that Pope Francis addressed his criticism of "airport bishops."

As for the Joker's call for transparency for the travel of all priests, I say "sure." Just as soon as "Tony" starts posting his itinerary. After all, he IS the bishop, and he should lead by example. Right?

But LOL. Given that he said that RMS would be publishing its Financial Report in July of 2014, and here we are more than a year later and still no report, I don't think we can expect Tony to tell us where he's sleeping any time soon.

P.S. Joker, next time you want to say something about the Catholic Church, the real one, check with me first. I'll help you out.

Oh, and thanks for the opportunity to promote Fr. Eric's project I AM CHAMORRO. Isn't it time someone who can give the Church's perspective on Chamorro history step forward? Thanks to Fr. Eric, someone has. Meanwhile, all "Tony" has done is bring people here who bash Chamorro history (e.g. "I am sick of your culture," said a recently ordained kiko-presbyter.)

"We are a beautiful people, and it's about time that we let the world know about this amazing group of people in the Pacific called the Chamorros." - Fr. Eric Forbes

Oh, and by the way, unlike "Tony" who was told by the donor for the former Yona hotel property that she never heard of "the Neocatechumenal Way" (after Tony asked her to lie for him - see Ultimate Treachery), Fr. Eric is actually holding himself responsible to his donors. Over $200,000 has been raised for the project. And unlike "Tony," Fr. Eric intends to honor the "intent of the donors" and complete the project.

Check out the list of donors:

  1. I've attended Fr. Eric's masses and can honestly say that he is a true priest who is very open and honest. His sermons run deep as if the Lord is speaking through him. His vast knowledge of the Catholic Church and of the Chamorro people is one that no one can compare. It's sad that these neocats are trying so desperately to drag anyone they feel they can in order to justify their cult. If they were true Catholics, then why not show their financial documents and prove everyone wrong? What is it that they have to hide? To me, these neocats are a huge joke. Ones that need to be exposed to the real Roman church. Their lies have clouded their souls.

  2. Whoever wrote that trash criticizing Fr Eric’s travels to promote and enhance the Chamorro culture to other parts of the world (Diana, Susan, Joker, the Thing, whatever) really owes a public apology both to Father Eric as well as to those of us who are supporting Fr Eric in his project! Shame on you! I can honestly say it in our own language: Taimamahlao! (Shame on you!)

It’s not as if Fr Eric is abandoning his priestly vocation in embarking on this project (unlike Archbishop Apuron who has publicly disavowed his flock in favor of his beloved NCW). Fr Eric’s project is not only culturally commendable, but spiritually uplifting as well. How can you fault a man for that? Taimamahlao!

To denigrate Fr Eric’s Chamorro cultural enhancement project is obviously NOT CHAMORRO. You give yourself away that you are NOT Chamorro. So go back to where you came from, if you have issues with one of us promoting our culture, and enhance that culture whence you came!

I am not pitting Chamorros against non-Chamorros here! Don’t misinterpret, otherwise you’re missing the point completely. I am pitting charlatans against intelligent people! – jrsa (9/27/15)/

    4. 1:55 are you a Chamorro in the NCW? If you are, then tell us why you think you're a better Catholic than our elders and the rest of us who are not Neo. Tell us why you revere Kiko more than the saints and the Holy Father. Now is your chance to " convert" us.

    5. Since the Joker likes riddles, come on people, take a guess....
Who is Chamorro, in Barrigada, and the pastor (in name at least) of San Vincente?
      Anybody?
Free breakfast for two, the next time I am on island for the first correct answer.....

  3. All one need do to understand this person is the name he uses. Jokers Wild, a Joker is a jester, a clown, a non entity. Someone not to be taken seriously. The Joker is not only wild, but delusional. He is so desperate to shift the focus away from Apuron, and his Sect. That he will try to trash the efforts of Fr. Eric to preserve and pass on the history of the Chamorros. Why don't you confront the leaders of your Sect, after all, all we are after is the removal of your Sect from our Churches. I know it has been frustrating to visit Junglewatch and have no legitimate defense against the litany of your Sect's misdeeds against our church. As long as you are posting, we know that you have an itch that you cannot scratch. Happy trails to you!!!!

    1. This doesn't fit in anywhere. But today at the cathedral Msgr. David C. Quitugua said they need $300,000 for shipping, replacing, fixing most of the aircon at the cathedral. I'm willing to give a large donation once the cathedral becomes non-NCW again. I guess until them we'll just have to take paper fans...

  4. Susan, you have really over done the embalming and make up on Mr. joker Wild's face.
He looks like a bad joke to me.

  5. Oh dear, Adrian Jokers Wild, here you go again. Why do you always have to be so jealous over Fr. Eric and all the other Chamorro priests and their successes and popularity? Let it go, brother. You just have to accept you'll NEVER be like any of them. That's why you, David and Apuron joined the Way. So why don't you all do us a favor and go aWay!

  6. Another lame threat by the NCW's Joker. They'll never show us a detailed report about anything. Go ahead and let's see the Archdiocese's travel report. Tony is not exempt from being in this report.

    1. Tony has been trying to stay home this year to throw us off his trail. If that photograph is any indication, the travel hasn't helped him.

    2. He is re-decorating his mansion for the inevitable Christmas party with foreign boboys. Getting cheese and crackers from Philly, then Napa is next for the booze. Please up your church collection, Tony needs to purchase gifts for the community. I wonder if cds are in the works as well. Bishop Robert Barron has new cds and dvds (not about him, mind you, but about the grandeur of God's love) so that might be apt incentive for our Tony boy to compete.

  7. It just struck me, reading the part wherein Call Me Tony attempted to modify the intent of the generous donor of the Yona property to fit his purpose after the fact. Is it possible that he has been trying to lobby some of his neo colleagues to modify the directives regarding reception of the Holy Eucharist so he can validate the false ncw interpretation on this matter? Is that why he is taking long to produce a non-existent permission to change GIRM regulations? Lies escalate to cover up earlier lies so it is possible that this untrustworthy presbyter is trying to manipulate the truth in order to to achieve his desired ends of cover up. Poor tony boy does not know when to stop. Really sad old manboy. He and Rudy should be playing bocci instead, at least the heavy balls are not attached to their legs by chain. Then Rudy can always let Tony win - it is a win-win situation. Rudy to offer his undying kiss ass self to his master, and Tony to feel he always wins. Match made in neo heaven. End of matter.

    5. @2:24pm, I think I'd rather be in a nursing home than in a psychiatric ward. Then again, wasn't the cook at the RMS taking care of her sick and aging mother and abandoned her duty to a saina just so she can do her ministry. What a shame!

The NCW is taking over our culture, especially those of the young. We who are much older know that taking care of our saina should and is in our blood. We just don't throw them to the side of the road.

Read the book " Love You Forever" by Robert Munsch, you might learn something.

We all have our calling. Whatever our calling is, does not make it right for someone to abandon another person for the sake of a community or a convivience. Our Lord should always come first, but KIKO, PIUS, APURON and others don't constitute being GOD!

After watching part of the Family Encounter for the NCW, people seem to glorify Kiko. I for o e only give glory to God and no other human being.
