Here is a message from one of the nine people who have already answered that question this past Sunday.
Nine strong Catholic faithfuls came out this morning, Sunday, January 3rd at 11:00 to handbill in front of Santa Barbara Church in Dededo. As parishioners exited the church, they were greeted and handed the handbill. We encourage other parishioners to do the same at their churches.
If everyone can do their part in letting others know of what is going on in our Catholic Church, the battle against this evil force can be combatted and defeated. Join in supporting the Laity Movement, CCOG, JungleWatch, the Thoughtful Catholic.....Stop the funding of the the NeoCats!!!

ReplyDeleteAfter reading Zoltan Szekely’s blog comments about Teri Untalan, a parishioner within the Archdiocese of Agana and resident of Dededo, on a Dec. 6, 2015 article (“Catholics, do not follow blindly.”) I found his comments to be bothersome.
ReplyDeleteThe article is very important for Catholics and the people of Guam and, indeed, there are true facts if you have followed this issue from the beginning.
Fact: The bishops of the Holy Land reprimanded the Neocatechumenals for making themselves a group apart, for celebrating the Mass separately from the parishes, for not observing the liturgical rites, for remaining aloof from the language and culture of the local people.
Fact: The Neocatechumenal Way, is an organization inside the Roman Catholic Church differing from typical Catholic groups in many aspects (especially doctrinal and liturgical issues) and organized like a “cult,” with its secret teachings, its elitist hierarchy and its one-sided “official statements” denying even the most evident facts.
My dear Catholics of Guam, only us, the people, can save our Church. It is up to us, the people. We have the minds, the eyes and the ears to save the Church.
Remember one of the most confusing and dangerous religious term is “cult.”
Let us pray:
Oh God our creator, from your provident hand we have received our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. You have called us as your people and given the right and the duty to worship you, the only true God, and your son, Jesus Christ. Through the power and working of your Holy Spirit, you call us to live out our faith in the midst of the world, bringing the light and the saving truth of the gospel to every corner of society. We ask you to bless us in our vigilance for the gift of religious liberty.
Give us the strength of mind and heart to readily defend our freedom when they are threatened. Give us courage in making our voice heard on behalf of the rights of your Church and the freedom of conscience of all people of faith.
Grant, we pray, oh heavenly father, a clear and united voice to all your sons and daughters gathered in your Church in this decisive hour in the history of our nation, so that, with every trial withstood and every danger overcome for the sake of our children and our grandchildren — indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Amen
