MORE EVIDENCE THAT APURON HAS ABDICATED HIS OFFICE

Someone suggested that the same person who wrote the "Jolibee" prayer also wrote Apuron’s letter threatening the Clergy to give to the Annual Appeal.

Here are some of the crazy errors:

“I offer blessings and gratitude to all of who participated…”

It should say: “I offer blessings and gratitude to all who…” or “to all of you who…”

“It is a wonderful testimony to sharing and stewarding God’s abundant gifts.”

First there is the use of the present tense “is,” when we are speaking here of something that happened last year. “It was a wonderful testimony…”

Next there is the strange use of the words sharing and stewarding. Both are used as verbs whereas a more familiar usage of the two words would have been as gerunds (nouns made from verbs): “It is a wonderful testimony to the sharing and stewarding of God’s…” Or, actually more familiar - if Apuron had written this himself - simply “the stewardship of God’s abundant gifts.”

Then comes the missing comma after “February 14."

Then there is the terribly obvious mistake of the two prepositions - which is really just a matter of plain carelessness: “…and end on by Pentecost…”

Later we see another missing comma and a completely misplaced comma.

Meanwhile, Apuron doesn’t miss a jot or tittle of his extra long name and title.

What does all this mean? It means what we have been saying for a long time. Apuron is not running things. He didn’t write this. And neither did he read it. He simply was told to sign it and he obeyed, just like all those other letters and documents he has been told to sign.

An aging cleric might be forgiven such incompetent lapses. But this is not incompetence. It is more evidence that, save for his signature, Apuron has long since abdicated his office, which is all the more reason to ignore, resist, fight against, anything that comes out of the chancery in his name.

  1. You are protesting your bishop so that makes you Protestants. Congratulations!

    1. Such a contention presumes that the bishop in this case is Catholic. He is not. Thus the title of this post. Bye.

    2. Correction. We are Catholics protesting the unfaithful bishop, Anthony Sablan Apuron, who has betrayed and abandoned his flock, the faithful Catholics of Guam. Real Protestants have their own churches while the archbishop, who is brother Tony in the Neocatechumenal Way, is systematically dismantling the very foundation of Catholicism here on Guam by embracing the NCW and paving the way for his pseudo Catholic cult to take over the parishes.

    3. What an ignorant reply 3:59am...you must be in the NCW. THEREFORE, it is YOU who is Protestant. Please, go away and build your own church. #fakecatholic

    4. 3:59AM, these are the exact words Dakon Deacon Claros said of the Toto parishioners while they stood on Chancery ground. He had the audacity to deny this statement at the Toto parish visit.

  2. The Bishop is Catholic. To say otherwise is an absurdity. You may not think he is Catholic. You may wish he wasn't. But until the bishop says, "I am not Catholic" he remains Catholic.

    1. LOL. The Bishop is NOT Catholic. To say otherwise is an absurdity. You may think he is Catholic. You may wish he was. But until the bishop stops being “Brother Tony,” he is neither bishop nor Catholic. Courage.

  3. This is Jesus S.N. Cepeda, from Chalan Pago..., From what I have been taught since I was knee high to the mosquito..., (this is my understanding only and I can not verify this) "A person baptised into the Catholic Church will remain a Catholic regardless and immaterial of his/her want to be removed from the Catholic Church. The Sacrament of Baptism is permanent and nothing on earth can remove that, not even excommunication or going over to an other religion. He/she is a Catholic until death, tjhen he/she becomes dust. jescepedaofchalanpago

    1. Hi Jess, "excommunication" means that one is outside the communion of the Catholic Church. While one cannot be "un-baptized," one can certainly reject the Church, and in doing so, excommunicate himself, making himself not-Catholic. IN Apuron's case, we see clearly that he rejects the magisterium of the Catholic Church.

    2. jescepedaofchalanpago: Thanks Tim, I now realize that, and it is true that once outside of the COMMUNION of the Catholic Church, one is NOT A Catholic. JESS

  4. No that is not clear. You do not have the power to excommunicate anyone.

  5. Anon 3:59AM and 7:50AM: you defend this bishop so that makes you or the two of you obviously, neo members. Congratulations!

Using your form of logic, you must then agree:you are here and you come back to keep track of the latest on this blog, so that makes you a fan of Jungle Watch and love coming here! Congratulations!

Here’s another:an abusive individual is not an abusive individual, and until he/she admits and says: “I am an abuser,” that individual is not an abuser!

What is obvious from the postings of 3:59 and 7:50 is: both are warped logic! Both must be fruits of the ignoramus style and form of logic learned in the neocatechumenal Way! So, congratulations not in order here instead, this: You Poor Things!

I just love how now the hoards of NeoCatemaniacs are chiming in to defend. What a waste of time. By the way, does your catechist know you're back in the jungle? Tell your catechist I said "hello". He knows me very well and probably considers me to be the Devil's child. Hahaha.... The audacity of this Pius thinking that he alone controls the mercy of God.

Now speaking on that note of control, how does it feel not having any free will with your cult now in your lives? What a joke to see community responsibles and co-responsibles running to tidy things up before "Pius" finds out. You all put Pius before God and at the same time replace our God with Kiko. Have fun all you are entering your 2nd scrutiny, and be prepared to empty your wallets and banks for the all powerful word of Kiko. Do us all a favor and pass your beloved "trash bags" around in your communities, because the priests produced from the fake seminary are only for NeoCatemaniac communities. With that said, go and support your priests and we'll support ours. Please put your sad puppy face masks away and leave us unworthy Catholics out of the "NeoCatechumary Annual Appeal".

  7. Aha! The neos are back in force, with their same old trick. Deny, deflect, destroy.
Thank you for the entertaining but sterile discourse.
While we are debating who is, or who is not a protestant, what Tim originally pointed to, was the obvious writing slips that make it evident a non English speaker, or an ESL writer, redacted the works in question.
This is not in itself a huge issue, except for the fact, that while most public persons often use shadow writers, they or their staff also read and verify the content and its quality before publishing it.
This is exactly where lies the problem.
It is obvious nobody spell checked the work, or its content.
BFD, say the Neos. But indeed it is a big deal, because it reveals to the keen eye or ear, the evolution of things within the walls of the chancery.

Since the Christmas season, we have found out that Pius is now the Rector of the RMS, and we understand what a load of excrement that is.
We also discovered that the ego driven Chancellor, has been unusually quiet, since his name was dropped as a potential Auxilary.
While Tony, the actor pretending to be Bishop, is flying left and right, Lirch took the responsibility for a short span of the official communication. Apparently, his lack of charisma and his ineptitude at all levels, did not bode well for the long term.

Several names have been brought forward, as to whom might the writer be. One person so far has been left out of the spotlight. Yet he is a dedicated Neo, a fruit of the RMS and so far the most successful one on island: The Vice Chancellor Fr. Jose Alberto Rodriguez Salamanca. He is definitely a perfect man for the neos, he is not from Guam, he knows the island well, and he keeps track of the coming and going of everybody. Most of all he is the product of Pius, making him the perfect gatekeeper. Another quality from a Neo point of view, his low profile and backroom deal quality
This newest Chancery actor, is not a man to be underestimated, his importance will continue to grow, making it more easy for the Genarinis to rid themselves of their Trojan horse, should the need arise to discard the useful idiots.

    1. The archbishop is very proud of his excellent English. I once pointed out a small error in English usage he had made and he was quite troubled. Yes, all the errors are clear proof that the archbishop himself did not write the letter to the clergy.

    2. The Archbishop does not write his own letters. Period. Fact.

  9. Poorly-crafted letters are trademarks of the ncw who have natural predilection towards hastily-thought shenaniganism. Sad little bastards!

  10. In addition, the part of the letter which says, "As clergy, I ask that...," is an incorrect construction. In this usage, "clergy" modifies "I". A correct sentence might be, "I ask you in your position as clergy..." or "You, as member of the clergy, are asked to give..."

Tim is right, someone else wrote this letter for him. It cannot not possibly be Ms. Weisenberger since she would have noticed the error right away. The point is not so much the grammatical error as the fact that El Apuron is not the man in charge anymore.

  11. May Not be Ms. Weisenberger, However it sounds very much like the Fianace Officer, Deacon Kim, who is heading the AAA after for sure for sure Claros was fired from this job. Just my SWAG...
