GENNARINI ON TRAVIS COFFMAN

Today. K57

frenchie has left a new comment on your post "GENNARINI ON TRAVIS COFFMAN":

Do not underestimate Genarinni, he is a master of the double talk. Plus he most likely will have his troops lined up to ask leading questions.
He is an enemy, but never underestimate that enemy. He must think the situation is dire since he agreed to a public interview. His son is better at it. But he must think that the situation warrants it.
Plus you don't know what the station management has told their people.

  1. Hopefully Travis will ask the questions...he has a thing for just being blunt...Let's see who calls in!

Don't count on any hard-hitting questions from Travis. In the past when he had Chuck White on his show he put on his "investigative reporter hat" and proceeded to try and play Devil's Advocate with Chuck. Travis came across to me as bordering on outright rudeness and he rarely gave Chuck enough time to fully respond before launching another salvo of questions. it frustrated me to watch that interview which was conducted during the 4 o'clock hour.

Not long after Chuck White, Travis hosted a 2-hour session with Adrian and another NCW member — I believe it was Ric Eusebio. No hard-hitting questions there — instead there was a more welcoming, hospitable demeanor with open-ended questions, allowing Adrian and Eusebio to give testimony about how the NCW had changed their lives. Although they also started during the 4 o'clock hour, Travis allowed their time to extend to the end of his show at 6 PM, giving them an extra hour to wax poetic about the NCW.

Count on hearing a bunch of fluff questions from Travis and calls singing the praises of the NCW and condemning those who oppose the NCW. I doubt that Travis will have done his research … he will give them free rein to say whatever they want and he won't challenge them.

    2. Mary Lou, while that was a difficult interview, I did put it online later with an "index" of links to my main points so that people could listen to my main points easier. Click here to get to that index.

    3. Thanks Chuck, your index made it easier to track all the points discussed. Tim, recommend you build a new page that captured what Chuck has provided for those who may have missed this...
