Yes it appears Rome sent an administrator with little publc relations savvy to handle a situation that has gained a worldwide audience. One misstep after another does little to garner the trust of the faithful. While we continue to wait for the next espisode of "As the Hill Churns" we will pray for the victims and their families as they experience the healing process void of any recognition by Church officials. David you are absolutely right, Archbishop Hon has "failed" a golden opportunity to bring unity to the faithful by not removing the Apurun's goons and the absurd decree(s). The signature of Adrain and David on the annuling decree is an insult to the faithful's trust. They are the "architects" of the disunity and lies that have "spewed" from the Chancery. Exorcise the vipers!
