MY RESPONSE TO JOAQUIN PEREZ IN TODAY'S PDN

PEREZ: "To Archbishop Hon, please talk first to the faithful in this community not involved in the feud with the Neocatechumenal Way, or NCW, or Apuron. Talk last to those who choose to be zealots because they don’t agree with the NCW or simply because they dislike or distrust Apuron.

The real people in the parishes — the elderly, the techas, the prayerful, those whose faith have carried them and continues to carry them through good and bad times — hear their concerns first. Hear the Christian Mothers, the San Vincent de Paul Confraternity, the Franciscans, those whose primary concern is the restoration of the Catholic faith that we have always known."

*****

ROHR: Mr. Perez. Once again those of us who have had the courage to speak up and risk the wrath of Apuron are being impugned by the likes of you, people who have hid in the corners throughout all this and now pop up like you're nice and clean and above it all.

People like you are why people like Roy, Walter, Doris (her son Sonny), and Roland have suffered almost their entire lives. People like the people I work with, the ones who you say Hon should talk to last, are why people like Roy, Walter, Doris, and Roland are at least seeing a small glimmer at a chance for justice.

This fight is for big boys. Obviously you are not one of them.

  1. Hon, Talk first to the those who have had the courage to speak loudly of the wrath of Apuron. And ACT FAST!

Classmate Joaquin Perez: Are you taking lessons from Edivaldo and Deacon Tenorio and Claros?

  2. And we should listen to Joaquin because?? Kindo, you just love the limelight so you can talk down to people because you think you're so smart. Get over yourself.

  3. Hon: Talk first to the victims, listen and and give them 100% of your attention and show that you care. That should be your priority, not whatever you are doing right now with new committee members, etc. to cloud the real issue. We natives are not stupid.

Apparently Mr. Perez has no idea where the silent and reserved "anti-NCW zealots" reside. He just recommended that Archbishop Hon walk into a hornet's nest. It's the least one thing he (unknowingly) got correct in his glaringly judgemental op/ed. Archbishop Hon should go to them.

  5. As I was reading Mr Perez's PDN letter it was very interesting and towards the end he ate his own words. Oh well another one eats the dust.

  6. "Talk to the faithful of this community not involved with the feud between the NCW and Apuron....?" Who the heck do you this we aren't? Non-faithful? Toro De Kaka, Perez. We, the laity have been ordered by Christ to fight for the true Catholic Church. Your classmate, the pedofile, (sure, you can call him alleged. We know he is not. ) have for decades, with the help of the idiots on the hill, have caused this division. Savio was giv n a mandate and has yet to fulfill it. You're like the rest of who follow the KAKA....blinded by arrogance and lies. Go say hello to Dingbat.

  7. Kin Perez is from Santa Rita. He should be questioning the whereabouts of the statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe or attend a CCOG meeting to learn a thing or two.

  9. First of all Kin, there is not a schism against the Church. What you label us catholics who oppose the NCW are the heretical teaching, the divisive actions that they propoagate within the church. It is very obvious that your commentary was shots from the hip, with no clear understanding what the real issues are. Apuron aside from the sexual abuse accusations against him, gave away church property that he does not own, is partial to the NCW heretical group, and has compromised integral and fundamental tenets of our catholic faith. These are very serious matters as the eternal destiny of many are at stake. Please inform yourself the cause that we are fighting for, these are not mundane issues.

  11. Kindo, check the facts before you open your mouth. Look at the LFM. A lot of manamkos there. Check the religious sisters. They all want Apuron removed and the Neo removed or put in its proper place. Check the silent clergy who are too afraid to speak our in fear of facing an arduous and painful experience. You are a Johnny come lately and obviously ignorant of the issues.
