PDN: "AGAIN" (THEY GET IT! LOL. "AGAIN")

This time around, the archdiocese’s statement has named at least one specific person and his “associates.”

“Tim Rohr and his associates launched a vicious and calumnious attack on the Archbishop and the Church,” the Archdiocese of Agana said.

Isn't this Apuron's third threat to file a lawsuit?!? I can't find the Count-up, but if my memory is accurate there were the ones from …
    • December 2014: Apuron revealed he would be filing a defamation lawsuit against John Toves;
    • 13 May 2016: Media Release mentioned plans to take "canonical measures … and file civil lawsuit …"
    • 31 May 2016: Press Release names Tim Rohr as being targeted for the "canonical and legal measures" being taken

Just like the "Boy Who Cried Wolf" in Aesop's Fable, Apuron can be called "The Archbishop Who Cried Lawsuit"

    3. By Apuron continuing to say that he is in the process of apparently formulating his position in order to "sue" and then failing to follow through, only increses and puts into question his credibilty and integity which at this point is at an all time low. Does he really believe that puting out a press release claiming his innocence and blaming Tim Rohn and his associates as having the ulterior motive of removing him as Archbishop will sway public opinion in his support. The man is desperately trying to save his empire from crumbling down around him. However, as he continues to appeal to the Catholic faithful, to remainful faithful to him, the more he loses in his following. Let's face it, how many who have viewed both videos of the allegations against Apuron actually believe that Roy Quintanilla and Doris Conception are lying. The answer, Very, Very, Very few. These are two very credible sexual abuse allegations that warrant an independent non-chancery involved investigation. The Archbishop himself should demand such an investigation if he truly asserts innocence. The only ones that are supportive of Apuron are is loyally blind Neos and close associates.

Unless he wants to continue being perceived as "all talk and no action," Apuron really has no choice but to pursue and file a suit as he has threatened. If he doesn't, noboby will really take him seriously in any of his further pronouncements.

  3. As these allegations are denied by the Archbishop, then he should have no fear on an investigation being conducted. On a personal level, the longer the committee prolongs the duties tasked upon them, it seems that FEAR is the HUGE CLOUD over their heads. Are they afraid that as this cloud collects moisture there will be more than a thunderstorm in the horizon?

I am very disappointed with the Archbishop. How can I trust and have faith in a Shepherd to lead his flock, when he has no trust and faith in himself to move the investigation forward.

If suing and collecting X amount of $$$ is going to give him peace of mind and lift the burden from his heart and his soul, then by all means move on it.

  4. Here is what the archbishop said about Father Luis Camacho.
    "Statement Regarding Fr. Luis Camacho

Father Luis Camacho was accused last year for ‘custodial interference’ and not for sexual misconduct with a minor.

Following the accusation, a canonical investigation was begun into the matter and according to the zero tolerance guidelines, the Archbishop applied the precautionary measures according to canon 1722 of the Code of Canon Law, upon opening a preliminary investigation. The Archbishop asked him to resign as pastor, which he did willingly, and Father Luis Camacho agreed to be sent to a place where he could be followed psychologically and spiritually while waiting for the outcome of the investigation.

In the subsequent year, no criminal case has been brought forth, as required under Guam law. Since the case has not been prosecuted, as required by Guam’s laws, the law requires its expungement, and no information can be provided by law enforcement authorities; in fact, law enforcement agencies are required by law to refuse to admit the existence of any records.

While the canonical investigation is still going on, evaluating also the recent legal conclusion of the case, no further information can be provided at this time.

Father Luis Camacho is still a priest of the Archdiocese of Agana and is under supervised ministry."

SO TELL ME - why doesn't apuron take precautionary measures against himself??????????????????????

  5. If the Archbishop were to file a lawsuit it would open him up to a deposition in which he would have to personally and under oath answer questions of his accused offenses. The records and past correspondences of the church regarding the handling of sexual abuse accusations over the past 40 years will be subpoenaed. The Catholics and people of Guam would welcome such an open investigation. I doubt the Archbishop would welcome it.

  6. In who's right mind would want to give their own opinion publicly like May (the Diana) in a critical period of madness in our Catholic Church. May, spoke of unity once. Today May spoke and sounds like AAA is all out to maintain his human power struggle. This cannot work, Man alone without Christ is pure failure.

    Dear Anonymous at 7:15 am,

In my opinion, I think that he (AAA) is not stepping down because he does not want to give the jungle what they want. It would only give them satisfaction. If he steps down and another Archbishop is appointed who is a "Neo" (according to the jungle), the jungle would only give him the same treatment.

    surprise, surprise, surprise

are you as surprised, I’m shocked, the dianas are always preaching about being “JUDGMENTAL”, and low and behold guess who stands so proudly in JUDGMENT, in looking at past chancery statements, WORDS of endearment are ONLY stated when they want something…

One would think, that any statement coming from any chancery, would use WORDS of Comfort, Encouragement, Sympathy, Wisdom, even at a time when one is to be admonished…

But oh no NOT this chancery, it appears that at every opportunity given to practice in the fullness of what they preach from the pulpit, they summarily throw it away…

I see that the authors of the chancery statements are sports enthusiast (the best defense is a good offense) at its worst to attack and at best, they are nothing more than a devotee, follower, fanatic, maniac, or a person of intense and visionary anti-christian views...

As for who is "malicious and calumnious" duh its “the pot calling the kettle black”, I believe as many of you might surmise long ago, that this evil comes from this corrupt and moralless chancery, and it lives and thrives to its fullness within the darkest Heart and Soul, of this ill-begotten leader, that is brother tony…
