NOTE TO HON: AS THE CHURCH GOES SO GOES THE WORLD.

To date, the Chancery Office of the Archdiocese of Agana, now headed by Archbishop Savio Hon Tai-Fai, has threatened legal action against the laity at least SIX TIMES. (Actually there are several more but this is all I had time for to pull up out of my files.)

NOVEMBER 28, 2014: "...defending the Church compels me to file a suit for defamation."
-Archbishop Anthony S. Apuron. Statement re allegations by John C. Toves

NOVEMBER 30, 2014: "...defending the Church compels me to file a suit for defamation."
- Anthony S. Apuron. November 30, 2014. Sunday homily at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Fiesta Mass

DECEMBER 05, 2014: "...you are hereby notified that any demands for an appointment or attempts to…confront the Archbishop on Chancery grounds or elsewhere will be responded to appropriately and in accordance with the law."
- Msgr. David C. Quitugua, Vicar General Archdiocese of Agana, to John C. Toves, threatening to call the police on Toves

JULY 5, 2015: "If you do not comply with this demand, Archbishop Apuron will have to pursue all available legal remedies, including seeking monetary damages for harm to his reputation and character, punitive damages, injunctive relief and an order that you pay court costs and attorney's fees. Your liability and exposure under such legal action will be considerable."
- Michelle R. Neal. Attorney for Anthony S. Apuron. Letter addressed to John Toves.

MAY 13, 2016: "...the Archdiocese of Agana is in the process of taking canonical measures with the Sacra Rota – the competent canonical tribunal – and filing civil lawsuit against those perpetrating these malicious lies."
- Fr. Edivaldo da Silva Oliveira. Archdiocese of Agana, Media Relations. Media Release threatening CCOG and Tim Rohr

MAY 31, 2016: "...the Archdiocese of Agana is in the process of taking canonical and legal measures against those perpetrating these malicious lies."
- Fr. Edivaldo da Silva Oliveira. Archdiocese of Agana, Media Relations. Media Release threatening Doris Concepcion and Tim Rohr

Yet, in today's Archdiocesan newspaper, Archbishop Savio Hon Tai-Fai, Apostolic Administrator for this same archdiocese, presumes to lecture us on how it is "Modern societies" which have "sharpened the tools of the law" and have led us to the "belief that wrongdoings can be solved simply by lawsuits..."

Hon's words are so typical of a church bureaucrat steeped in clericalism and infatuated with his own power: blame the people, blame the laity, blame "modern society" blame the world.

The civil case filed by Lujan and Wolff in behalf of Quintanilla, Concepcion, Denton, and Sondia, was the FIRST and only action by any member of the laity to respond with these so-called "sharpened tools" to the multiple threats coming from Hon's own chancery.

As the Church goes, so goes the world, Hon. And here you have led by example. By not condemning the actions and accusations against the laity by members of the clergy over whom (as you say) you have "the power," you align yourself with them and their threats.

You're a fake, Hon. A FAKE.

  1. I supposed Hon figured he would just snap his fingers once he arrived and the natives will fall immediately and timidly in line of obedience. Hon has his head in the clouds.

  2. "As we move forward towards building greater unity and stability in the Dioceses of Agana, let us pray and work together in the grace of God for healing and solidarity as the Catholic Community on Guam."

Hon - How are we moving forward? The critical and important situations have still not been addressed! After being here for a month, you are embarking "canonical visitations of all the parishes and visitations of the two seminaries".

How come that could not have been done the first month you got here? How come you have not gotten the Molested Victims together to feel their pain and tell them what you have been doing to help them? How come you have not met with the Guam Laity and the CCoG to hear what We Are Protesting About? I promise - You Will Not Be Attacked!

You were just here a year ago and should have known some of the frustrations of the True Catholics on Guam! Why all the revisiting of the parishes? Did you not pay attention the first time you were here? In my opinion, you were here on vacation and Apuron regaled you with all the trimmings and hospitality of the people of Guam and just "ASSUMED" that "Everything is Just Peaches and Cream" and that the Natives were just blowing smoke!

Well, the "Smoke" has become "One Hell of a Bon-Fire" and the Whole World knows about this little bitty island called Guam. We are going to continue to stroke the fire until you achieve what you were sent to do THIS TIME! The NATIVES ARE RESTLESS except those that think that you are doing a great job. And those are the ones that are saying "They are not a Branch of the Catholic Church but a Part, yet continue to make hideous changes to the Churches like those ugly paintings" and Flowered Alters (correct spelling ALTARS)!

  3. Working behind the scenes indeed...how can you improve the two fake seminaries....they were created for KIKO's mass production of KAKA. Best to close them down and send our sons to a real formative institution.

  4. Hon's approach is for Pastoral visits, he knows the great respect we have for visiting Bishops. Let us not be duped however and request that the parishioners be allowed to be present during Hon's visit. This is were we need not be timid, and demand that ALL parishes be staffed by non-neo clergies and if possible circulate a petition reflecting your ardent desire to keep your Church Catholic and not be polluted by the teachings and practices of Kiko. What escapes me is how can an Archbishop of our Church, allow the laity to be bombarded by the heretical teachings of Kiko. Hon, you are supposed to be a defender of our Faith. How can you continue to allow his teachings in Christ's Church. Are you even aware of their teachings????? I think not, because if you do, you would immediately bar them from our Churches. AB Hon, are you aware of their teachings???????
