  1. I am saddened to see the situation in Redfern has not improved. Churchmouse has a blog that explains the struggle the non-Neo parishioners had within the church. It was the first blog I discovered in English while researching the NCW. I was hoping the situation had improved since she has not kept up the blog recently. Besides the blog there are many newspaper articles dated approximately a decade ago.

  2. Reading this post was like watching a movie I'd already seen.

  3. How sad that the NEO has infiltrated all those Catholic Churches with Clergy that do not really believe in the true teachings of the Catholic Church. Did not realize this was so wide-spread. However, I am very happy that this NEO changes are now out in the open and the fight is on to regain our Traditional Catholic Teachings!

  4. We all need to stay alert as to who our New Archbishop is going to be and hope that he is one of the Teaching of the TRUE CATHOLIC and not supportive of the neo. Otherwise, we will continue with no chance at all. How sad that ROME have not open their eyes to see just what this neo are doing to our TRUE CATHOLIC FAITHFUL.

    1. It is hard to believe that Hon or other bishops are not aware of all the divisive effects of the NCW wherever they are found, One would ask, why do they continue to exist with seeming approval of those church leaders in the Vatican. The answer can be found in what Hon is all about. Money talks and BS walks. Despite the inaction of Hon, he dares solicite the Guam community to give to the AAA until the goal of $250,000.00 is met, even if he has to extend the collection period, his goal is to get his $250K. Wake up folks, he is all about the money, he will continue to rape us while we are down. Money is the priority for these bought out bishops, they cannot live without it...

  5. This is one of the many problems the NCW has brought to Australia, and since there are two RMS "factories" churning out half-baked "presbyters" we will see more problems in many other Australian parishes in the future.

Many of us here from "the land down-under" are regular visitors to this blog as we see many parallels in the experience of our brothers and sisters in Guam with those of us who have the NCW present in our parishes. It would be good if we could create a world wide organisation of Concerned Catholics to combat this heresy that has infested our church.

  6. I was a member of the neos during the time this crisis in the Redfern Parish was at its worst. I knew two of the neo priests that were sent there, both cocky young men who would make jokes about the behaviour of the parishioners and had no conscience about how much they clearly irritated long serving members of that church. I havent seen the Church Mouse page for a long time because it seemed to no longer be updated. Not only have I seen first hand the frustration and upset caused in my own former parish but having been a member for many years I now look back on the insensitivity and exclusion caused to others , the broken relationships, the feeling of being ostracised myself when finally seeing there was something very wrong with the way this group operated, and the lack of Christian care and the value of ego among its 'leaders'. The damage has been done but it yet quietly, and sometimes not so quietly continues in this country, we pray for Guam.

  7. The value of ego is exactly what caused Apuron;s eventual lack of Christian care.

  8. The cavalier attitude and insensitivity towards local culture by NCW give a bad name to Roman Catholics around the world. As long as they masquerade as "Catholic" in order to easily infiltrate an otherwise healthy Catholicism, the rest of us Catholics who are faithful to the Church Magisterium will always be associated with this scourge of a cult which should never have been given approval to exist. Probably what was perceived as legitimate at the start fell prey to a mutation along the way when the leaders saw that they could amp the ante by turning it into a mind-control business.

  9. More and more I see that these Prebsters have no love and respect for the local people. More of disdain and condescending attitude. Cardinal Tagles concept on the need for religious to develop cultural intelligence is definitely true on this case. But again there are some things you can't fix.

    1. Common sense requires inculturation by one who deals with culture other than his or her own. In a seminary or house of formation geared towards missionary work this concept of inculturation or cultural sensitivity is given due importance. Even in ordinary parlance we expect corresponding respect for differences in values and tradition. Ironically, NCW which poses as having a missionary thrust is more about changing people to their esoteric ways rather than adapting to the sensibilities of the people they invade.

Genuine missionaries, notable among which were the Jesuits, endeavored to learn the language, culture, traditions and dreams of the people brought to their care. Many of them even died readily and heroically to protect the people they came to love as their own. NCW missionaries, on the other hand, expect to be given honor and privilege in spite of their dim wits and stony hearts. They demand of people to adjust to them instead of the other way around. Many times in Guam these presbyters even insulted the Catholic traditions of people which sustained many of our ancestors here during lean times when everything seemed lost and hopeless, and when they only had their faith to keep them strong and their love to keep them alive. No wonder we see so many of the older generation relentlessly defending the Church they know on Sunday mornings rain or shine.

How dare these NCW invaders think they are better than the man'amko warriors!!! They know nothing but the coddling and favoritism lavished on them by an alleged sexual child predator who must never be allowed ever to taint this island with his excesses and dark sicknesses. We will not allow these neos to think they own our island community and that they just demand money for their support while they revile our faith practices.

  11. Church Militant's fightJuly 20, 2016 at 5:36 PM

8:01AM (7/20). We cannot afford to be content with just "staying alert"; it is absolutely necessary at this point and time in our local Church to be proactive in our fight to protect and preserve our authentic Catholic Faith and Church if we are to win against the heretical ideologies, teachings and irreverent practices of the NCW, as well as curtail the proliferation of future scandalous ordinations of ill-formed seminarians who will then be forced into our parishes! Here are things we all can do:

    1. Write and email your letter addressed to Archbishop Martin Krebs, Apostolic Nuncio for Guam and Oceana at: nuntius@ihug.co.nz and cc the same letter to Rome at: segreteria@propagandafide.va asking Archbishop Krebs to consider our plea and request to support our desire not to have an NCW-member Bishop, an NCW ally Bishop or an NCW-friendly Bishop be appointed as a Shepherd and Bishop of our local Catholic Church on Guam. Explain in your letter to him the reasons based on your first hand-experience or acquired knowledge of the detriments of the NCW’s religion existing side by side our authentic Faith in our Diocese of Agana.
    2. Have two copies of the same letter; hand deliver 1 copy to Archbishop Hon at the Chancery -- make sure the secretary at the Chancery “Stamps” both copies of your letter with the “date they received” your letter; give them 1 copy and keep the other for your record.
    3. DO NOT GIVE, donate or contribute toward the Archdiocese Annual Appeal nor contribute from the pew on Sundays to any of the NCW-infiltrated Parishes; let your parish priest know you don’t want him to tap your parish funds to give to this NCW-sponsored and NCW-initiated Annual Appeal fundraiser.
    4. Refrain from picking up and taking home the weekly Sunday NCW-propaganda newspaper, the “Umatuna”
    5. Join the 45 minute protest/picket in front of the Cathedral every Sunday from 9AM to 9:45AM -- a doable time-frame.
    6. Support and attend Laity Forward Movement’s occasionally-scheduled fundraisings -- funds go toward CCOG’s legal defense of our Church, covering the expenses in CCOG’s quest to reclaim our local Church properties and estate taken over by the Neocatechumenal Way.

Mind you, the NCW is an entity which ironically, is not even a part of nor a member of our local Catholic Archdiocese; yet, in spite the reality that we, the Catholic faithful are forced to contribute and donate to the NCW via this Annual Appeal, our Archdiocese (under the authority of Apuron and Hon) does not require and in fact, overlooks the NCW’s need to be financially transparent and provide our Archdiocese (us Catholics) an annual financial report!
