  1. Information about Broulliard keeps coming in. He literally stunk, say some of his former students at FDMHS. He wore the same shirt and pants every day, they say, and they suspected that he never laundered them. So one day an enterprising young FD student in his Geography class surreptitiously put a chalk mark on the bottom of the leg of his pants and sure enough, the mark stayed the semester, fading slowly.

Where did Bishop Baumgartner find this guy?

  2. It is sickening to think that all these sex abuses done by the clergy happened and continue to happen because of the Church's worldwide policy of keeping quiet, transferring errant clergy (to greener pastures?) and not doing anything else to them to stop them from committing these crimes over and over again.

That the clergy who knew did nothing but kept their silence didn't help, either.

And now, we have Hon. Don't hold your breath expecting anything different from him.

    1. The Pope really needs to put some teeth in the documents he has propagated against sex abuse by clergy, and start firing these people instead of covering their sins against the innocent. He can start with issues in Guam, and those in the Vatican that cover up these crimes.

  4. ...watch a documentary on netflix titled: "Spotlight"...it will shed much light to the problems in our church. so sad!

    1. You don't have to subscribe to Netflix to watch "Spotlight." You can watch it for free. Google "free movies online" and choose 123movies.to or putlocker.is. The first two arguments used to keep the victims and their families quiet: The Church has done a lot of good for the community. And: we'll transfer the priest out of here and it won't happen again. Watch the movie for the whole story.

    2. Just finished watching the movie, "Spotlight" on 123movies.to. Wow! I highly recommend it to everyone. What I take away from the movie is what happens to a small problem when everyone looks away and does not do anything about it. There is an expression used in the movie, "It takes a village to raise a child." Then the speaker adds: "And it takes a vilage to abuse a child." All of us who knew something as it was happening AND DID NOTHING ABOUT IT, are guilty for the big mess we and the Catholic Church are in today. And it will take all of us to clean it up once and for all.

  6. Even if apuron knew, there were others way before him that knew. I'm afraid that even the late Archbishop Felixberto Flores knew. The senior priests, those who are still living, of our island KNEW. I can imagine the whispers that were circulating within the walls of the cathedral and other island parishes, were many that even the nuns knew.

    1. BIBI and his band of monkeys know it all. It's just a question now of how far this goes and how much becomes public. If it goes to court its disaster for Archdiocese.

    3. Bibi will admit what he did when he turns 95 years old. He'll ask for forgiveness by then.

    4. No one should presume he or she will reach 95 years of age, or any age for that matter. Something in the Bible goes like this (not exact quote): Thou fool, tonight thy soul will be asked of thee!

So, repent now, while you can.

  8. Atty. David Lujan spoke of Fr. Luis Brouillard taking pictures of the private parts of 50 altar boys. I shudder to think that there will be at least 50 more lawsuits not only against the guilty priest(s) but also against the people who, and the archdiocese which, allowed these crimes to go on unchecked.

  9. Oh yes its true archdiocese and a number of priests knew all about this. Why do you think certain priests Apuron treated so well good positions money vacations.Archdiocese is corrupt. Many of your clergy are corrupt.

  11. The nightmare of child sexual abuse in our Archdiocese continues to keep me awake at night. Despite repeated encouragement from Clergy and Religious and for the first time as a parent, I am thankful that my children had never shown any real interest in being Altar Servers.

In many cases of child sexual abuse, perpetrators use religious or spiritual themes to justify their abuse of a child. We have heard our Church leaders suggest that child sexual abuse is neither condoned nor taught, and some even suggest that the child is equally, if not more to blame than the perpetrator. They proffer this suggestion while urging immediate reconciliation between the perpetrator and victim.

We have even heard that some Church leaders have asked children to confess their own “sins” in being sexually abused and have even required children to “confess” in front of their communities. These Church leaders are mandated to report instances of child maltreatment but choose instead to simply ignore the law and take concerted efforts to keep the matter “in house.” Tragically, some parents condone this and even cooperate, as illustrated in the victim of the recently named “Priest Beach” in Agat.

Although the rights of parents to provide spiritual instruction to their children are fundamental under our constitution, physical and sexual abuse that is perpetrated in the name of religion is not protected, and is actually prohibited by law. The United States Supreme Court has said “when state action impinges upon a claimed religious freedom, it must fall unless shown to be necessary for or conducive to the child’s protection against some clear and present danger…” Therefore, the government has the right to intervene, and to prosecute cases of child maltreatment even when such maltreatment is rooted in religious beliefs. Church leaders who fail to report known cases of child abuse or otherwise aid and abet the ongoing abuse of children may face criminal charges.

    1. Child sexual abuse by clergy has been happening for decades with no solutions in sight. I repeat my suggestion that ALL altar servers should be adults from now on, to reduce the opportunities (and temptations) for Pedophile Priests. After all that has happened, how can we trust ANY priest?

      Delete
    2. adults were involved as well. Not just kids. Much bigger problem than just pedophiles. Agana.

    3. Ohhhh, yes. The Adults.

    4. Adults? May result in retirements/medical leaves. Just maybe.

    5. Last I heard the present altar servers (all minors) are all volunteers. Adult Altar Servers should be too. So no consideration of retirement pay/medcial insurance/leave, etc.

  12. Gerry, in your second paragraph you indicate that "… some [Church leaders] even suggest that the child is equally, if not more to blame than the perpetrator."

It appears that the KAKA-filled apologist for the NCW, the Delusional Dingbat Diana, agrees with you. In an exchange of comments with the label "Jungle Cleaning" under its post Sex Scandal in the Catholic Church, one can read the following comment by the Delusional Dingbat regarding Sexual Assault Survivor Walter Denton:

    "Diana July 6, 2016 at 11:42 AM

    Dear Anonymous at 12:17 am,

He was told to give every detail and not leave anything out. Yet, his written testimony led me to think that he was already sleeping in the nude and on his stomach when he was raped. There was no mention of the rapist tearing off his clothes or forcing him over on his stomach and things of that nature.
    "

That comment shows a small sample of just how far the KikoBots are willing to go to protect their "Brother Tony" and any other presbyters who may be inclined to engage in child sexual molestation/abuse/assault.

  13. He's not in the NCW so it doesn't matter.
