  1. Joe Santos - American hero! I love seeing your truck when I am on the road. After this bill becomes law I hope you will keep the sign up as an island wide reminder that we need to always be vigilant.

  4. Thank you to all who have supported the "Silent No More!" effort. We are so close to our goal but the fight will only have begun from there. To all victims of child sex abuse, my prayer is that when you all have that right moment in your lives to confront your abuser, you will know that your island community supports you. The courage that the survivors presented to us should be an example for all that the healing process is a long protracted one and that we need to always provide them support. To Anon 4:09 my thanks to you but I need to start carrying more coconuts in my truck to support my brothers pig farm. I will keep a picture of the truck with the sign for posterity sake. Si Yuus Maase!

    1. Thank you, Joe, for leading this project. Guam is so small and everything is magnified in terms of statistics. However the problem of abuse is very high in our community. The "culture of silence" has a lot to do with it. Fortunately attitudes are changing and we are teaching the younger generation to speak out. The statistics should start to move in a downward direction in the next few years. We will still have the same creeps among us. But they will not be able to act with impunity as they have in the past. "Dang! It's so much more difficult to be a pervert these days!!!"

      Silence doesn't help.

      Silence doesn't heal.

      SILENT NO MORE!
