JUST IN TIME...VOILA!

Posted by Tim

Hmmm. So just as the evidence is in that RMS is a sham (the ad hoc Committee report), and just as Tricky Dick and his group of dicky tricks is condemning the report and defending RMS...

VIOLA! Suddenly, out of nowhere, we have the announcement that long-lost RMS grad, Miguel Cervantes (no relation to Don Quixote) has achieved a Doctorate in Theology Summa Cum Loudly!

What timing. Nicely done. But other than the shady timing (LOL), there are a couple of items for our consideration.

1. Miguel graduated from RMS in 2009. That means it took him 7 years to get a doctorate which at most should take 3-4 years. So was he just terribly slow (like David the Rector who took ten years to get his doctorate), or did he have to take remedial courses, due to his NO-education at RMS, in order to even begin the doctorate program?

2. I thought we didn't have any money to send priests off-island. This was the whole excuse used to deny Aaron Quitugua an opportunity to attend an off-island seminary:
AARON QUITUGUA TO ADRAIN CRISTOBAL, Nov 7, 2013: Father, upon reflection of the above issues we discussed, an idea came to my mind. The first time we met on Sept 04, 2013, you informed me that our Archdiocese no longer has the financial resources to send seminarians to study abroad, which is the purpose this new seminary is being started.
Yet, we learn this past Sunday (in the Umatuna), that while solid local boys like Aaron Quitugua are told there is no money, at least one of Apuron's RMS pets has been living on our collection in Rome for SEVEN YEARS, and getting a nice little doctorate. Ummm, to do what, "serve the Archdiocese of Agana?" LOL. Like hell.

Have any of our local priests been offered an opportunity like this for higher education? How about Richard Kidd? No doubt he has the brains for it, and probably could have gotten it done in half the time. But no. Not only did Richard have to fight for every inch of his legitimate diocesan formation, he had to pay many of his living expenses himself.

But the real story isn't this Miguel guy. The real story is Hon, who the Umatuna said "rejoiced" with Miguel saying "we take pride in the outstanding accomplishment of Father Miguel."

Hon, what don't you get? Our local vocations are slammed to the pavement and thrown in the gutter, while Apuron's pets are given illustrious opportunities at our expense. What the hell?

There's more to this. I'll be back.

  2. The problem with the story of Fr. Miguel is that they fail to mention that his degrees that brought him to his latest PhD were not acquired at the RMS in Yona. He was ordained at the RMS but did not receive any accreditation in Yona.

They will spin it as such, but Fr. Miguel already had conventional degrees under his belt before he entered RMS.

Do not fall for the ruse. It's a lie via omission.

    1. Miguel was an engineer. Nice guy. A doctorate? Yes. Enough brains to get out of kikoland? Nope. Apurun was so happy with Miguel n Rome Edivaldo , on the other hand, was not praised at all...the opposite being true. Apurun big mouth.

    2. This comes as no surprise to us. Different lie, same SOP for hiding details. Now that the kiko kingdom is gloating at this latest "illustrious feather," they will claim him as an RMS fruit and proceed to distract us with the real issues. So predictable.

  3. On the subject of Aaron Quitugua being denied the opportunity to attend an off island seminary, what was the difference between Aaron and Darren Santo Tomas (son of Dennis Santo Tomas)who is currently being formed at an east coast seminary?

    1. Isn't the east coast seminary Santo Tomas is in also an RMS seminary? The "seminarians" don't choose where they are educated. They're names are thrown in a basket and Kiko decides which of the RMS seminary they will go to. They aren't really seminarians when they first arrive. They're in a state of "discernment". Many of them will tell you when they first arrive that they are not a seminarian. I don't think they consider themselves a seminarian until after they are elected as a Lectorate or a Sacristan. Then they get to wear the collar.

    2. If nor mistaken, Santo Thomas was sent on mission and to do his discernment before deciding if he should continue and be ordained a deacon.

  5. Dear Mr. Rohr.
Are you aware of the Damascus program for priests in Guest house Detroit. This program is for priests with compulsive eating disorders. Priests who are overweight obese are taught basic dietary needs weight health management. participants learn how to shop in the supermarket save money improve quality of life feel better. Program offers a daily Journal that charts cost analysis of an eating chart. For example Mr. Rohr you and I shop in supermarket once a week. I suspect like me you spent $75 a week.
Can you imagine spending $100 a day on food? can you imagine if a priest was sent to the Damascus Program for compulsive eating from Guam? can you imagine a priest who fills his shopping trolly with several choclate cakes and eats them for lunch. such a priest would surely need medical help .
Are you aware of any Guam Priest who is presently suffering from compulsive eating disorder? Are you aware of a priest who shops 9Pm with an eating disorder that the church covers up. What would you do if your next bishop had a hidden compulsive eating disorder that makes him eat several choclate cakes in bed at night? The damascus program is rather expensive . However, this is a good program for priests with compulsive eating disorders.
