ROME HAS SPOKEN; THE CAUSE IS FINISHED
But while Rome has spoken and the Cause is Finished, Apuron isn't.
Tim, Did John's cousin come forward publicly or not yet? I hope he comes out soon if not, because the deadline is in August.
ReplyDeleteNo, he didn't. And he won't. Like many others who went through what he went through, he does not want to revisit anything close to the issue.
DeleteI didn't know Apuron needed his letter translated into Italian. I guess he wants the Italians to feel sorry for him. We just needed your English translation, Tony. No need to impress us with how well you can write Chamorro and Italian. You probably did not write this. No apology for the agony you put us through; no apology to the victims and their families; what an arrogant person you are. You chose to betray your people on Guam. So, good riddance to you.
ReplyDeleteGood point. Why the Italian translation? And why not Spanish (the language of Kiko), or German, or any other language. Who is he writing to? My first thought is the Italian bishop in Qatar who took in Luis. (I hear he's still there.) Maybe he's got room for another Guam runaway.
