At first I didn't realize the even the was at. Then I realized it was the event that the Agat Mayor hosted. And I understand that part of the proceeds from the event were to go to Fr. Harold for the benefit of the Agat parish. Yet he calls the attendees "pagans and full of baloney." I hope the mayor is smart enough not to give him a dime.
Participating in a secular celebration (such as today, Liberation Day, doesn't make the participants "pagans and baloney," unless of course you're Fr. Harold.
A carnival and car show to celebrate Our Lady of Mount Carmel seems closer to 'pagans and baloney' than not. Fr. Harold has his issues and the NCW may too, but accusing the priest of being in public under the influence (of alcohol or worse), building up a slush fund, and suggesting he deport himself detracts from real problems with NCW. I'm not even a fan of Fr. Harold but you all definitely do not present yourselves well and this is what loses credibility to arguments against actual NCW issues.
Maybe this is why they're still around and going strong. Who wants to side with a bunch of 'anti-NCW Catholics' acting like assholes, but saying the NCW is the problem we can't have better priests, a better diocese, etc. Why don't we be ourselves better first and condemn facts rather than accuse to fit our narrative?
Well anon @ 5.50, I guess we had not seen one of you in quite a while. The fake moderate apologist, whose solution is the ostrich policy of burying your head in the sand! What a novelty. The reason the neos are still around as you put it, is not because some of us call it the way it is, but rather because of cowards like you, who rather ignore the reality of corrupting heretics within our own church. So before you get all sanctimonious on the rest of us, you better pray for discernment. Good luck. Peace
I see that Harold is building up his slush fund. He can start the clean up by deporting himself.

ReplyDeleteIt's not clear to me exactly to what he is referring. Something part of the secular celebration of the fiesta?

He definitely looks under the influence. Of what? I don't know, but obviously not a pastoral behavior
