NUFF SAID!

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "A MAN NOT AFRAID TO PUT HIS NAME TO HIS POSITION":

At anon 12:05

You say, "Guam people are kind, respectful and loving people.", and that is true. But some of you foreigners disrespect us and think of us as a lesser people; as if we never knew Jesus. Then to make matters worse, it seems to many of us that our Archbishop has been recruited by those who wish to cheat and steal from us, and destroy us from within. I say "us" because we are the Church.

There is no Church without the people. The people of Guam have roots in the Catholic Church that are deeper and longer than the roots of the NCW, and much, much deeper than the recent converts who come here and think of us as pagans. You disrespect us and our faith, steal from us, try to take over our physical assets, and worst of all, you disrespect our Pope and our Lord and Savior. Then you call us hateful when we point out these offenses. Shame on you, but then again you are shameless. And to my Guamanian brothers and sisters who choose to side with the NCW and Kiko, I pray that God will open your eyes.

Bottom Line: Yes, we are a kind, respectful and loving people, but WE WILL CHEW YOU UP AND SPIT YOU OUT IF YOU CONTINUE IN YOUR DISRESPECTFUL WAYS.
Nuff said.

    Dear Anonymous at 1:07,

Thank you for the information. I haven't time to read the whole thing, but only had a glimpse on it. I will be reading later.

    1. I've no doubt "she" is. It's been confirmed that the Archbishop, the VG, and the Chancellor are regular visitors as well, despite their protestations that they are not. However, it appears that in this particular instance the same person who left the above link on my blog may have also just posted it on hers. In any event, even without reading it, I know we can trust it because of the author. If the above address doesn't work, try this one:

To The Priest Who Wrote The Following On Junglewatch.

This comment was brought to my attention by Cathy on May 30th at 11:36 a.m. A local priest wrote in Junglewatch regarding a comment that was published under a thread in one of my posts. His comment is found here. After reading his comment, it is apparent that his comment was not only directed to an anonymous poster, but to me as well. Therefore, this is my response, and..........if Father, you are reading this, please do not take it as an offense as it is not.

To the priest who wrote in the above weblink in Junglewatch:

      Dear Father,

You stated: " But the one thing that a priest has to look forward to is the brotherhood with fellow priests and a strong relationship with our bishop" . At the end of your comment, you also stated:

" I am nearly to the point of tears at this very moment thinking about this situation. I wish I had the courage to tell more, and reveal my name. Unfortunately, I fear the retribution that may follow. I look forward to the day when I can be confident that my pastoral father loves me deeply and truly.

Lord, how I long to feel the warmth of his fatherly embrace".

As a priest and a servant of God, God calls you to seek fellowship with Him and to build a stronger relationship with Him. He calls you (and each of us) to be holy just as He is holy (Leviticus 9:2) God is all you will ever need. Christ said to give up mother, father, sister, and brother. He did not say to replace these people with your fellow priests and Bishop. With all due respect, Father, God always comes first. And when you put God first, He will take away your lonliness and bring you happiness. Your fellow priests and Bishop cannot bring you happiness. Only God can bring true happiness because He is the source of all happiness and joy.

You know the story of the Prodigal son. The younger son was lost and spent all his money, which his father gave him, on frivolous things. Finally, he went back to his father's home. And his father welcomed him back. He gave the younger son a feast and everyone celebrated.

But there is also the elder son. The elder son who never left home and was always with the father. The elder son who was faithful to the father, and who worked with the father side by side. This elder son became angry and jealous because the Father held a feast for the younger son And all that time that he was faithful and working in his father's house, his father did not even give him one feast.

With all due respect, Father, this elder son is YOU. The elder son wanted to be treated the same as the younger brother and be given a feast. Because he was not given a feast, this elder brother feels unloved by his father.

God loves you, Father, and if you had experienced this Love from God, it would not matter who rejected you (even if it was your own mother or father). In the communities of the Neocatechumenal Way, there are youths whose fathers had left them to be with another woman, but the Love of God fills them that not even the rejection of their own father destroys them. Rather, these youths have learned to see their father's weakness and suffering and forgiven him. If you had experience this Love from God, you would understand why the Apostles went to their deaths singing joyously even when everyone around them was mocking them. If you experienced the Love of God, it would not matter what negative words were said to you.

In the Holy Bible, the father said to the elder son, "Everything I have is yours." The father had always loved both his sons. Know first that you are loved by God, and all else will fall into place.

    3. Ah, yes. You see all you priests who have bee abused and abandoned by the bishop. IT'S YOUR FAULT.

Diana, dear. You have NO IDEA WHAT IS COMING! The people who have been keeping things to themselves out of the last little respect for this man's office are about to let loose. And you have just opened the door. YOU HAVE NO IDEA! STAY TUNED, DIANA!

    4. Not only priests have been abused and abandoned by the bishop. We all feel abandoned in the parishes who are just "common Catholics". Because we don't have a truebiz bishop to lead the faithful of the True Church, only a kiko-bishop ,a kishi-bishi! He forces us onto his depraved Way which leads away from Christ and his True Church.

I feel abandoned as a parishioner because the Archbishop always shows up with the kiko-priests among Kikolics (I cannot call the True Catholics). The Archbishop is not a loving father to all of his children, he plays favoritism and this is very bad behavior from a high church officer.

I want him to come to my church and apologize for abandoning us. I want him to love True Catholics not only Kikolics. We are all beloved children of God. He should also fire Diana who is apparently a kiko-witch of Beelzebub. Dear Archbishop, please be a man of faith and stop your abuses and abandonment right now. Will you, please?!

    6. Wow, these priests may as well become monks and join the monastery! I am sure Father Pius would be more than happy to accommodate you all!

First of all this Filipino priest is airing out his concerns and the belittlement he got by being labeled a contract priest, insinuating he is a alien worker!

If this is how one treats the Filipino Priests, then why in the hell are certain members going to Manila for the Vocation Day I believe in Tacloban? Why? Because Jennifer Dulla said that they got an invitation by Cardinal Chito Tagle? The article was posted in the Umatuna Si Yu'us.

Why bother going to Manila? For what? To prove to Cardinal Tagle that we are a people united? To show Kiko that the island of Guam is gong ho on his movement?

I wonder what problem Diana had that made her go to the Alternative School! What Pace program has she reached?

To Diana who says we do not need fellowship with our brothers, why don't you give up your way of life and volunteer to be a missionary giving up your brother, sister, you parents and travel with only the clothes on your back and a bible. Practice what you Preach.

I am sure that countries such as China, Africa, Syria, Russia need you! We all know the saying "Uncle Sam needs you" to preserve and defend the US. So to Diana, "Kiko Needs YOU" to go as a missionary proclaiming the ways of the NEOCATECHUMENAL WAY!

    7. To Diana:

I am the “Filipino contract priest” you directed your comments to. After looking at the reaction of many people, most seem to believe you are the Archbishop. This I cannot accept, because if true you need more prayers than I could offer in a lifetime. But whoever you are, you are deeply errant in almost every word you uttered.

You do not need to remind any good Catholic that God always has to be the center of our lives. That said, God also gave us a family, which is to be a reflection for the world of His great love for us. Your essay would seem to imply family doesn’t matter, which is something we have heard quite often from followers of the NCW. But this is gravely misguided, and another example of the troubling issues with the teachings of the NCW.

Your statement also contradicts your own actions. A hermit is called to live a strictly solitary life, but that is a difficulty few are able to dedicate themselves to. That said, I certainly understand how important your Neo family and community is to you. It is confounding to most how you cannot see how important communal life is for all people. As priests, we give up our families and have a special brotherhood. For you to lecture us on this is truly a sign of the type of fruits we have come to expect from the NCW.

Your theology on the Prodigal Son is stunning. Do not forget, that all of us are sometimes the younger son, and at other times the older son. It is a parable that shows us both sides of our actions. What you fail to understand is the key to the parable – the unconditional love of the Father. He loves us no matter what we do that would offend anyone else. As our spiritual leader here on Guam, our Archbishop is called to love and guide all, unconditionally. Unfortunately, what the NCW fails to see is that our Bishop loves those who follow the Way, but often casts aside those who do not.

This is a core reason the clergy on Guam are so divided. The Archbishop has an absolute duty to be our father. Ask him if you do not believe me. He has succeeded with some, but has failed with the majority. How you fail to recognize this is beyond imagination. If you are a Neo priest, then shame on you for speaking the way you do against a brother priest neglected by our father. If you are really a lay person, you should not comment on something you obviously know nothing about.

How many “guest” priests in the NCW have been immediately incardinated to this Archdiocese, and yet there are priests who have served here for decades who have been denied incardination? How many young men have been blocked in their journey to the priesthood in Guam because they were not in the NCW? These are not actions that a true father would allow, are they?

      to be continued

      Delete
    8. And then, in a mean spirited attempt to kick a man when he is down, you state the following: “God loves you, Father, and if you had experienced this Love from God, it would not matter who rejected you.” So now you say that I have not experienced the love of God! How dare you make this assumption. But it is exactly this attitude once again that causes division. Is this the type of fruit that Kiko has sown? Many in the NCW are taught that the only way they can experience the love of God is through the Way. I know this because parishioners healing from their NCW experience have shared this with me. They actually fear the loss of salvation when they leave the Way, and they were told this by their catechist in an attempt to keep them in their community.

Diana, I don’t know who you are so I would not assume anything about you, except what you reveal in your biased ideas. I don’t know if you are a catechist, or a responsible, or simply an adherent, but you really should consider how your judgmental nature blinds you from the obvious problems here on Guam and throughout the Neo world.

I love my ministry and my calling to the priesthood, and I love the people of Guam. I see the good works done by true believers in the NCW, but I also see the very real damage done because of the arrogance of the NCW hierarchy, and the bad catechism and liturgy of the NCW. In my humble opinion, it poses a severe threat to the Catholic community on Guam. For this reason, I urge all my brother priests to step up and take immediate action. If you believe that our Archbishop has been blinded by his involvement in the NCW just like Diana has demonstrated her bigoted blindness, then I urge you to write the Apostolic Delegate to plead for his assistance. The CARA effort to unify us didn’t work, but I pray that Mother Church can step in to help us out.

Not a Filipino Contract Priest, but a priest asked to be here by the Archbishop of Agana. The same bishop who has assumed responsibility for my care and growth in service to the people of God in Guam.

He should not have mocked the priest who was in tears because of what Harold threw at him. Harold does what the arch wants him to do... very clear! Now it is time for action. Diana will be surprised because the archbishop will hate when he learns that Diana instigated all of this, or perhaps the archbishop did this to himself under the cover of "Diana". Anyhow, when they wake up, it will be too late already to regret!

  7. I don't feel it's right for anyone to drop any bombs on the Archbishop. Can't we just all go and speak with him? Not just one or two, but ALL of us - clergy and laity? I really believe Archbishop Tony is trying to do what is right for this Archdiocese. Can't we just show love to combat all the wrongs instead of a surprise bomb?

It would be a shame if our cause became over zealous, bull dozing the Archbishop down to prove a point. What could we gain by destroying the Archbishop? There will be no surprise on their part as they have full knowledge of their deceptions, however, they did not think that they would have been set off so soon, if at all. In fact, they may not think that their activities amount to deception as indicative of his and their arrogance in all these matters.

  8. A couple of comments.

This is just my personal opinion but I highly doubt that Cardinal Tagle invited Kiko and his companions. I think this is another spin by the Kikos supported by the Umatuna(run and managed by the Kiko Neos) to try and gain mainstream credibility. Think about it. Vocations in the PI are flourishing, both priests and religious. Look at the Dominicans in Guam. There are so many of them, young and old, from the PI. Thus, Cardinal Tagle does not need Kiko, but Kiko needs Tagle. I'll bet you a bottom dollar that Tagle dod not invite Tagle, and I suspect that the Neo powers instead asked for an audience with Tagle when Kiko is there. Why? Another photo opportunity. Don't forget. Photo by association means, according to the Neo, that you have been approved by that person in the photo. I smell a rat here!

  9. Diana says in her comment to Father to be not offended because she does not mean to offend. And then, she proceeds to lecture Father on how to be a good and holy priest, and not to be like that elder son in the parable of the Prodigal Son. Typical Neo blarney which I have heard so many times: I am telling you this because I love you, and then proceeds to lecture and denigrate the person. I say that if you truly love me, stop looking down at me from your Neo high horse, step into my shoes, and then embrace the suffering and injustices I have endured. See how it feels and you will see then our point of view.

  10. Diana is dead wrong. Father(who wrote the comment) is not the Elder Son in the parable. The parable does not apply because the parable says that the Father of the two sons is our ever loving God who will embrace you no matter what. Apply the parable to Archbishop Apuron. Apuron has been ordained to be a FATHER(a Father to his flock, as the Father in the parable)), and as the Father, like Jesus, he should embrace both sons. Does Apuron embrace all of his sons...us? NO......unless you are a NEO SON. In fact, Apuron trashes his non-neo sons(e.g., Fathers Paul, June, Manny, etc.) and beatifies his neo sons. In the end, I do agree that we should all look to God for ultimate solace and comfort, as I am sure the Father who wrote that comment is doing, but as Christians, we are obligated to know the Truth and to seek Unity. If that unity is threatened or harmed by anyone, especially our archbishop who was ordained to be the single most important source of unification, then we have a duty to speak up and fight for our Church. Jesus himself went through the Temple to throw out the bums who were defacing and disrespecting his Body....shouldn't we do the same? Of course.

I certainly have not separated myself from our beloved Catholic Church as I continue to be devoted to her, and as far as evidence of an oxymoron, I am not sure where the contradiction in terms are. One can certainly fight for the truth and still be unified with the Church. St Peter, St. Paul, and all the other Apostles did just that. It is our duty to fight for the Truth to protect and preserve our beloved Church even if it causes pain in the process. Peace be with you.

  14. I agree with the comment that Diana is dead wrong. Let me explain. No man is an island, as the saying goes. God did not create us to be alone(think Eve who came after Adam), as we all know. Jesus left us the Church, a community of believers, with leaders to guide us. We have the Pope, and then Bishops, and then Priests. We have the Religious who teach and lead us by example. We are all one Body but with different parts, or roles. Therefore, the priest who made that comment is right to expect our archbishop to lead, to teach, to guide, to love, to embrace his priests---to unite his flock. The archbishop was ordained for precisely that purpose. To do otherwise would violate the oath he made to Church and God.
