  1. The archbishop will call them disgruntled employees or servants who don't know the whole story.

    1. I think as a unified people, we can demand that the Archbishop ' s mental faculties be examined because his thought processes and behavior have been erratic, unprofessional, delusional, and downright hateful.

  4. Is Deacon Steve still the personal secretary for the Archbishop? Or did he lose his job too? Thank you to all who have the courage to speak the truth despite the repercussions that you may face. Make God continue to bless you and give me the same courage that you display.

  5. and to think this is just the beginning. Where's that Anon at 830 from the petition page that asked where the army was. My dear, "poor unfortunate soul" (from the little mermaid's ursula haha), we are everywhere, even in your conscience. "You can't handle the truth!" (a few good men). This is all one big movie, I surely hope Rome or the man in NZ is watching. Stay tuned. T minus 29 minutes.

  7. Is the date of this press conference a mere coincidence or a sign of what is to come? 69 years ago on 6 August 1945 the world's first atomic bomb was drooped, an event that led to the end of World War II. This press conference by 5 well-respected individuals to "respond to, correct and refute allegations of financial mismanagement …" could very well have a similar effect on the War on Our Church that Archbishop Anthony Sablan Apuron has been waging for decades. For too long, we cowered and remained silent … until he started attacking our priests — Fr. Paul Gofigan on 16 July 2013 and Msgr. James Benavente on 25 July 2014. But now we are SILENT NO MORE!

There have been veiled and open threats on this blog against those who criticize and/or voice concerns about the Archbishop or the NCW. Let us pray that God bless and protect Deacon Steve Martinez, Rick Duenas, Art Illagan, Joseph Rivera and Richard Untalan.

Mary Lou, when evil strikes our church from within there is no room for silence.

  8. Sister Mary Stephen Torres you may not feel you have to account to me a former student who is challenged to be "The Soldier of Christ" in the instructions received in the Sacrament of Confirmation but you DO have to be accountable to Jesus in the operations of His Catholic Church.

    1. I'm sure Sister Stephen will "account" just fine. She did exactly as she was supposed to do and, after 26 years, the Archbishop terminated her when she did not do what he wanted her to do.

  10. Did they seriously upload the Deloitte & Touche audit report onto the Archdiocese of Agana's website? Unbelievable. And here I was, starting to feel sorry for the Archbishop because the tide has turned against him so quickly and forcefully. After all, charity is one of the seven heavenly virtues.

Ah, but so are temperance, diligence, kindness and humility.

I'm so disheartened that our "Shepherd" and his band of sheep kiridus are acting out this way. And Father Adrian! Wasn't he in the Seminary with both Father Paul and Monsignor James? They were ordained later, but they were in formation at the same time. They are his brothers!

    So ugly and sad.

In the end, I'm still hopeful that another virtue will persevere: patience. Because without it, I'm afraid that this could get uglier and sadder, still.

    Holy Spirit, be our guide!

    1. Anonymous (August 6, 2014 at 9:52 AM), they most certainly did upload the Deloitte & Touche "Report" along with the Statements by the Archbishop and, of course, "Diana" proudly announced and linked it on "her" blog yesterday.

One would think, given the statements by Richard Untalan and Joseph Rivera in the PDN refuting the allegations based on the report, that the Archbishop would reconsider putting these documents on the website. But then, given the recent series of comments attributed to the Archbishop which was posted on a home page, per his request, maybe it's just part of his ongoing delusions of grandeur that prompts him to assert, "Nobody can get me."

United we all stand for the cause of truth and Justice in the Church on Guam.

There can be no peace on Guam why Archbishop Apuron Remains.

  12. Present board members John and Marilyn. The Law of God supersedes the law of man. Joey D. you have a long personal history with the Basillica's operations. We stand united in the pursuit of the Truth or we silently contribute to to the reformation that the Archbishop of NCW indoctrination is trying to replace. No one REFORMS with INOVATIONS a CHRIST INSTITUTED CHURCH FOR HIM . How DARE we DO THAT.

Well must add a comment of apology to Steve Martinez. About three years ago I sat at a dinner with him in a Manila Hotel. I knew very well who he was. So I took the opportunity to express certain truths over the table to let him know that I am very aware of archbishop Apuron. He was then working with the now famous Apuron. However, today I read that deacon Steve has decided to sand on the side of truth and justice. I admire this. Sorry you received my wrath that night but I have a reason .

  15. My apologies to Sister Mary Stephen's it was a rash judgement that should not have come out. This is why the sinner in me needs the church.

  17. Now that you The NEOs are handling the Cathedral and Cemeteries records and finances, we will NOT believe any reports and documents you will all of a sudden unravel, to further defame Msgr. James and his hardworking staff. We would not be surprised when you doctor up documents and post them in the media and say, “Ta-da! See, we found something,” when we ALL know, you crafted it and then continue to lie about it. We are just waiting. Waiting, for more lies!

You ALL obviously are more than capable in twisting the truth and lie to your teeth so, SHUT UP already! Hiding behind a 'nice and neutral-sounding' post, even posing behind OUR LADY, when we all know you do not even honor her. We see right through you, NEO, or worse yet, NEO Sympathizer!

Neo Sympathizers are in full effect, hiding behind neutrality and aiding in continuing the work of the church. PLEASE, we see how you are loving that promotion and the quick rise to fame you are getting from these users. Pathetic.

Be Truthful about: All the LIES

-Show us the money, be transparent, not the Cathedral and Cemeteries finances, all of those were debunked already, we are NOT STUPID! So you can no longer say Msgr. James mismanaged anything because you really don’t think we will believe you. You have all the records now, so it is certainly fair to think that you will mess it up intentionally and try to pass it off as truth.

-Get out of the NEO and be with ALL of your people, all of you: Archbishop, Msgr. David, Fr. Adrian. Protect us from Pius and whoever else is attacking your people! Better yet, get the Neo off our island!

-Come out about Fr. John Wadeson, where is he, really? Produce his location; SNAP needs it to do its duties to protect children and all others that he can possibly harm. If he didn’t do it, molesting 2 youths, then work hard to exonerate your name, with the support of the bishop!

    -Be truthful about the museum

-Be truthful about all the other things all of you have done

We are not listening to your lies. We will only open our eyes and ears to the TRUTH.

Jesus Christ, Have Mercy on us and help us, for all that we are experiencing under this Archbishop and the Neocatecumenal Way!

Santa Marian Kamalen, please intercede for us, indeed!
