HON WHO?

Sorry, Archbishop Hon, but to Apuron, you're just a visitor. He's still Archbishop of Agana and you're just the hired help. Now do you understand why we are demanding his resignation?

    2. Tony, You sicken me with your ploys to send out messages to get people to believe you still are in charge.

Archbishop Hon, I'm praying especially hard for you to wake up.

  2. The Filipino Community of Guam was probably surprised to get a congratulatory
letter from apuron, the child molester. As for Hon, who's been here for two weeks now and has not done anything of note, "he's just here on vacation."

  4. Apuron wanted to get rid to Filipino priests, till the Filipino Community protested down at the Cathedral as well! Someone should have thrown the letter in the trashcan! But good that it made it into a booklet. There are prominent Filipino-Americans here who do not like Apuron.

    4. Lol my dear kababayan it's not very Christian to tell other people to die and burn in hell. There's a bunch of suck ups in the filipino community who are in the neo for social climbing so I'm not surprised if they don't reject that. So sad. Some Apuron supporters are filipinos who like to sipsip and don't care about the truth.

    5. To those who curse in Filipino, please maintain your sense of dignity. It is not the best of circumstances but please be civil no matter how incensed you are in this situation. Tearing another down in anger, and the use of harsh words by one individual can be destructive even as Anon @ 7:30 PM clearly does not represent the sentiment and caliber of the majority of Filipinos. Use your freedom of speech prudently and responsibly, if only to respect the memory of those who died to defend your freedom.

Junglewatchers, I can assure you this is just one Filipino anonymous commentator and not the Filipino communities as he/she/it is trying to imply. God bless.

I am going to be extremely mean here but you are on My Island where you enjoy all the American Freedom that you do not have in your native island. If you do not agree with my comments, please go back to where you came from!

  6. This doesn't look like the official letter head of the Archdiocese of Hagatna but a impromptu fax from Eduwaldo. Got to hand it to Eduwaldo he's so cocky he's oblivious to his maleficence. You can sense the fist pump!

    1. Got that right! Just examine today's UMATUNA SI YU'OS where Apuron's name was mentioned only once on the front page relating to his molestation of Roland Lizama Sondia in 1977. Kochino na taotao esti magahet as Apuron. Thanks Tony Diaz and Archbishop Hon for removing his name as publisher of OUR Catholic Church newspaper. Good job and that's a start.

    3. Marian and Tony KNEW that the Umatuna was going to printed with the normal Apuron stuff in it. Hon didn't know. Hon arrived Wednesday morning. The Umatuna went to press on Thursday. The publication of the Umatuna last week with Apuron in place was simply insurrection. Marian and Tony were obeying orders: Pius'.

At every Mass I've attended since Archbishop Hon assumed the position of Apostolic Administrator, both Apuron and Hon are mentioned in the Eucharistic Prayer as well as in the Universal Prayer (AKA Prayer of the Faithful).

My guess is that since Hon mentioned the need to pray for "Beloved Archbishop Anthony" during the 9 June "Prayer Meeting" at SASVCC, it served as a signal to keep Apuron's name in the prayers at Mass.

    3. I thought it was just an accident (heard it at the 10 a.m. Mass) from the visiting priest co-celebrating today. But they did acknowledge Archbishop Hon in the Prayer of the Faithful.

What freaked me out was the fact that Hon will be visiting Santa Barbara on July 3. I wonder if this is also happening at the other parishes, did he make similar schedules to visit them? And July 3? Is that a sign that he's here for a while longer than what it seemed?

      Delete
    4. Are there still more parties that he might be invited to? Seems that is the only reason why he is here on Guam! Vacation on the Island of Guam is not a bad thing! Wait, maybe he is using this time to visit all the Catholic Churches on Guam and you all know how many there are! He Could be Here Until December - On Wait - Christmas, Another Island Holiday! Maybe after the New Year - 2017!

    5. Archbishop Hon directed priests to keep mentioning Apuron as the ordinary at the Eucharistic Prayers of Mass. Why? I do not know.

      Delete
    6. No mention of his name in the Eucharistic Prayer at 9 AM mass in Agana Heights. Only Archbishop Hon was mentioned preceding the phrase: " . . . and all the Clergy." Listen to your prayers of the faithful just after the Credo, before the Offertory, if he is mentioned or not as well. I recall attending mass in Tamuning at 9:30 AM on Sunday, about a month ago and the lector said and we pray for all PRESBYTERS, not the Clergy! Presbyters are what the Neos call their priests.

  10. Brother Tony is so quick to shower the Filipino community with accolades about their community service, charitable work, and assistance in times of disaster but dare mention the Filipino blood that runs through his veins and he's quick to deny any part of it. Hypocrite through and through. But the real question is, why is he still acting like he's in charge?

    Resign Archbishop Apuron.
    Majority of Filipinos dislike you.
You have spent 30 years insulting the philippines. So this letter is a joke.

Absoloutely insulting to the people of Guam that he should be sending out letters promoting himself. Shame on him.

  13. It's obvious Hon is not in control. He lost that opportunity to do so when he first arrived. He should gave sent a clear and emphatic message to all by immediately removing VG and Chancellor and announced that he is now in charge of Everything. He also should have reached out to the victims. By failing these simple but critical steps, he gave the impression that he is impotent, powerless, and temporary. And that he is here only to whitewash things.

  17. Does Apuron know the word "shame"? Taimamahlao esti na tatotao si Toniu. He should have some respect for the designated administrator who is trying to clean up the mess he left behind! The only way to heal this Archdiocese is for the Vatican to get him to resign and never come back as the archbishop. He needs to return in handcuffs to answer for the horrible crimes he committed on young boys, and not in messages that are not appreciated!

  18. When this is all over, Apuron will be gone. It will take a miracle for him to be reinstated into a position of trust, especially one that requires a high level of spirituality and morality to lead the faithful in Guam. The trust is simply not there anymore. A couple of my teammates were vocally against what happened to Gennarini at the airport. They just simply didnt understand what was going on. Now, they are asking me what I think about what is going on. This I know for sure, they all agree Apuron should be removed.
But what I really want to say is this: Archbishop Hon, REMOVE ADRIAN AND DAVID IMMEDIATELY! Those two have contributed the most to the current state of this Archdiocese! Liars, schemers, power hungry, evil servants of the devil! They have no right walking around, preaching or administrating in this Archdiocese. Holy Men of God they certainly are not! REMOVE THEM!

    1. AnonymousJune 20, 2016 at 1:56 AM - I truly hope so but as long as Archbishop Hon and Rome does not come out with a remedy very soon, we are held "Captives"! Apuron will still be in charge. But, as the saying goes, "No News is Good News"! I totally agree that we need to get rid of all the "Top" personnel that currently still in charge of the True Catholic Churches on Guam! I do not remember David whatever his last name is - but it is not important to me - but I am from Barrigada, now residing in the USofA, and I do know of the Cristobal Family. Adrian has brought so much pain and embarrassment to the village and I am extremely angry. Adrian, You ought to hang your head down as low as you can get but unfortunately, I think that you feel that you have done nothing wrong! Bring Back My San Vicente - San Roke Church to the way it was before. You can hold your services below the church because I know there is a "basement" there! If the NEO is a "part" of the Catholic Church, then you are a "part", not the True Catholic Church itself. A "part" does not come in and exert their beliefs on the True Catholic Church!

  22. The girl at Vivian Way is a top long-time officer of the FCG, an umbrella organization for all Filipino communities on Guam. Rudy is also good friends with the current president of FCG. Not sure if the congratulatory letter was Rudy's idea or at his behest using his connection with the Vivian Way girl. Looks like Rudy is subverting the work of Hon.

A week ago I had urged a former officer of the FCG who is good friends with the current FCG president to release a statement in support of the victims of sexual abuse in order to make the organization more relevant to the community. However, as is typical with a lot of Filipinos, until a clear winner is declared or until Apuron is officially out, everyone adopts a wait-and-see attitude.

  23. There are three things Archbishop Hon must do to have any credibility.
    1. Find out Who Owns RMS seminary. The Neocat's or the Guam diocese.
    2. Return Father Paul and Monsignor James to their respective parishes.
    3.Replace Apuron.
Without these three things accomplished nothing will change and the protests will continue.

    2. Most definitely agree with your three-point process, however, I question #2 point. I do not believe that Msgr. Benavente and Fr. Gofigan have vested interest in returning to their previous assignments. I think what is more important to them is a return of their good names which were sullied by the unjust accusation by Apuron. The Church has to admit/declare that said accusations were malicious, and were merely made up in order to gain NCW territory. Msgr. Benavente, for example, has been rector of the Cathedral for over 20 years. He had been successful and effective during his tenure, but it will be unfair for the Church to limit his ministerial experience to that assignment for the rest of his priesthood. The assignment of clergy is within the discretion of the bishop, or administrator in this case, and it is fair to assume that neither of these priests will fight any future reassignment to other locations. Otherwise, yes, I support the move to uphold their reputation to proceed with the business of unity.

    3. Do not forget the Lastimosa family who was dragged in the mud as well in Apuron disgusting attempts to slander Fr. Paul.
Their two daughters suffered greatly from these lies. Mrs Lastimosa remains gravelly ill.
The callousness of the three stooges on the hill also destroyed that familly

    4. Frenchie June 21, 2016 at 3:43 AM - I totally agree with you Frenchie! The Kiko's Revered Apuron threw Mr. Lastimosa, a humble man who made a mistake, under the bus, backed up, went forward, and totally destroyed him. He paid for his sins and this is what he gets from the Illustrious, Revered, Well Loved, and Respected Archbishop Apuron! NOT - Being Illustrious, Revered, Well Loved, and Respected Does Not Describe Apuron! He did totally destroy the Lastimosa Family but I hope that they know that the True Catholics on Guam Are Supporting Them 100% Plus Percent!
