  1. "He said we want to address the issues. There's no doubt about it. He said it's important for us to do it in the right climate. A climate of a church. A climate of peace. A climate of sincerity. A climate of serenity," he detailed. "And it thought that was so wise..."

The climate that we are being asked to partake in is in the Gray Area. Serenity? I'm asked to waltz into the Cathedral in my Galadriel outfit and say, "Yes Archbishop, No Archbishop, whatever you say Archbishop, Kumbaya Archbishop?"
No Father Jeff, that is not so wise and stop trying to feed the faithful that submissive line of let's be frends even though you still have a gun to my head. We need to be in a climate of Black or White. We need to know where things stand regarding concerns and issues causing division in this church. We need to know what is black and what is white, not herded in the Gray until everyone is confused and submissive. The time for gentle correction is past. Clarity and correction of concerns are needed now. We are all adults here Father Jeff. Attitudes should be left at the door but don't be a part of those leading the faithful into the Gray. I'm not an Elf.

  2. It takes a big man to admit publicly he made a fool of himself. Mr. John Toves, you da man!

    1. Regardless, John's presence and his accusations, is what shook loose the iron gate Apuron had placed on his awful history. No one had dared publicly accuse Apuron before John. He was the first. And even though his cousin has chosen not to revisit the pain Apuron has caused him, others, like Walter, Roy, and Doris (in the name of her son) saw a tiny crack that wasn't there for 40 years. Thank you, John.
