THE NEO'S JUBILEE GIFT TO THE CARMELITES

This is the grave of Mother Concepcion, the Foundress of the Carmel of Guam as it was found yesterday by a group who visited the Carmel Cemetery in Malojloj:

This is the grave of Sister Therese Lujan, OCD, Aunt of Richard Untalan, former president of the Archdiocesan Finance Council.

This is NOT what those graves looked like when the Carmelites departed Malojloj. This is what those graves now look like after the the "trained lawyer" and the Neo's took control of the Catholic Cemeteries.

The concrete facings and the plaques have been ripped off the graves.

This is an absolute and ugly DESECRATION of the graves of dear nuns who gave their lives for this Local Church. While the Archdiocese is celebrating its 50 year Jubilee, so are the Carmelites, who came to our island 50 years ago and have sacrificed and prayed every minute, every hour, every day for the safety of our island and for the eternal salvation of our souls.

And this is what the "trained lawyer" and the Neo's give them in return. Archbishop Hon. Are you beginning to understand?

  1. What happened to the markers made out of Granit? Did the neos recycled them for profit?
Total rip off. Should the families sue?

  2. this makes me weep and feel a lot of pain, not only as a secular discalced carmelite in formation, but as someone who grew up on guam, where this kind of thing used to be unheard of. i hope we can follow the example of st teresa of avila to be tough and to fight to rid the island of this evil.

  4. Is her house and home in the same condition?
Im willing to give her a rats ass since that's what she can't give regarding the state of the cemetaries.
If you are not capable Jackie or can't even delegate then resign that position so that someone who is can take over. Are you clinging to that position because you need the money? Look to your community for support. If you are doing it for free, well no wonder you can't afford to give a rat's ass!

  5. Seriously doubt the Carmelites will sue. So very sad. This is not Guam, Rey D you are correct.

  6. The people that allowed these desacrations ( encouraged?)are the same that were so rabidly loud against LFM for their "welcome" of Genarrini....
    Any double standard ? ???

  7. My dear mother passed away over a year and a half ago. We buried her next to my father, in Pigo. To this date, June 11, 2016, her name plate has yet to be put up. Inquiries were done as to the delay but the same old excuse. I am tempted to bring my etching Maxine down there to scribe her name on the tomb marker.

    1. Ray, my sympathy. Eighteen months is to long. While Pigo is church run, it is not exempt from complying with timetables and reasonable business practices. Maybe it is time for suits being filed. Before you say anything about attorney fees, go through small claims for the maximum amount. Be sure to add the pain and suffering. If everyone did this who have been screwed over, it would start to hurt them where it counts the most. Their wallets. The time of being nice is over. Time to start being aggressive and attack.

  8. from the looks of things, they consolidated the mortal remains of four of the deceased Carmelites into one crypt. I'm sure Mother Dawn was made aware of this and it's only temporary. You all are taking this way too far.

    2. ...Anon June 11, 2016 @ 7:11 p.m. TRUE that they placed the remains of the sisters together into one crypt!...TRUE! but the crypts have been like this going on two years now....so how do you explain this?...when Sr. Therese Marie passed and the staff from Pigo came down to prep her resting place I questioned them as to when the headstones with the sister's name will be placed...they didn't have an answer. I told them that they should at least put a temporary card with names so that they don't forget who's buried where. Truly if the Carmelite sisters were still here this would not have happened! NEVER! I know because i'm from the parish of San Isidro.
