LURCH: STILL THE VG

David "The Vulnus" Quitugua is still the Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Agana. And so he will remain until Apuron's triumphant return - which is what Hon is here to pave the way for.

The appointment of Jeff San Nicolas is another head fake to make us think that the evil twins (The Vulnus and Crystal-meth) are out of the picture.

Can. 475 §1. In each diocese the diocesan bishop must appoint a vicar general who is provided with ordinary power according to the norm of the following canons and who is to assist him in the governance of the whole diocese.

Hon did NOT appoint a vicar general. He appointed someone with duties "similar" to the VG. LOL. And surprise, surprise, surprise, "The Vulnus" was never removed!

Rev. Father Jeffrey San Nicolas – Delegate of the Administrator (assuming responsibilities similar to those of the Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia).

This makes it convenient, because when Hon is gone, so is Jeff. And presto, there is David "The Vulnus" all set to kiss Archie baby on both cheeks.

That is of course if he doesn't get thrown in jail in the meanwhile for doctoring government documents. We haven't forgotten.

  1. It's the choice of the next Archbishop of this diocese who will be the right-hand man. It's not Hon's decision, in fact it would be out of the ordinary for Hon, as an Apostolic Admin, to appoint a new VG, which is why Fr. Jeff is only considered the interim. Immediately when Apuron was removed, David the VG became the Delegate of the Administrator. Fr. Jeff is replacing that position, not the position of the VG, he just simply fulfills the responsibilities.

    1. Nice, but Apuron has NOT been removed. He remains both canonically and legally (as a corporation sole) Archbishop of Agana.

    2. Nevertheless, Hon did what he can--within the norms of the Church and Canon Law--in David and Adrian's case. If we are to give him any points, he did right in removing these two from the Chancery. Unless you'd rather have David and Adrian still in these positions of power, what other case would be ideal?

In my opinion it's wrong to think Hon is here to fix everything and he should stop giving that impression. He is only an Apostolic Administrator, he is not our bishop. What he should've done is revamp the Chancery and put trusted priests in these positions in an interim capacity. (This is exactly what he did with Fr. Jeff) It should be the choice of the next Archbishop who will be Chancellor, VG, and all else, not the Apostolic Admin before him.

    3. Sorry for double-post Tim but I'd like to also call attention to Canon 481.2: David's position as Vicar General was in fact suspended ever since Apuron was temporarily stripped of administrative power.

    4. §2. When the function of the diocesan bishop is suspended, the power of a vicar general and an episcopal vicar is suspended also unless they are bishops.

David's "position" was NOT suspended, only his "function" which will be fully restored upon Apuron's return.

    5. 2:01. How do you know Adrian and David were removed from the Chancery? There was no aviso. And if in fact they were removed (which I do not think they were) it was only after we pounded on Hon to do so. When Hon left last year, he left instructions with Apuron to get rid of David and Adrian and form an administrative team. Apuron ignored those instructions. Hon did not need 3 weeks this time around to remove Adrian and David since it was he who had said a year and a half ago to get rid of them.

Adrian remains Vicar General and Adrian has instructed the clergy to email Lito "for the time being." Hon has never refuted any statement by Apuron giving the appearance that he is still in charge.

For good reason: HE IS. Or should I say: Kiko is.

  2. i remember reading about how the supposed 5-minute-mile barrier for runners was overcome after a runner decided to challenge it. well, i'm anticipating that the long-held notion on guam that our clergy are untouchable also will soon be challenged and knocked down. true, they will face God's justice. but they will also have to face human civil justice--which is legitimate as far as it upholds the laws of God and furthers the common good. if you do wrong, that priestly collar ain't gonna shield you anymore. the people have had enough.

  3. Beware of titles, like words they say everything (in this case nothing). Until Apurun is removed as the Archbishop everything else is a charade.
And Fr. Jeff has a golden opportunity! His next move (or lack of) will set the tone as Leader or Puppet!

    1. First, Jeff has to back track and take back how he's been referring to himself as VG. Jeff, Jeff, Jeff.

  6. Isn't David "Lurch" Quitugua the VG also one of the "John Does" in the lawsuit filed by the sex abuse victims of apuron?

  7. AB Hon enough of the hocus pocus. Kiko is finding out the hard way that the natives aren't as dumb as he thought. Little ole Guam has exposed the twisted and perverse teachings of wanna be prophet kiko.

  8. Hmmm not to change the subj ... i read or heard in Doris Concepcion's testimony that she was sexually molested as a child. Is this true .was not sure i heard right.

    1. Yes. She said this at the public hearing. And given that Guam abuses and neglects its children at nearly double the national average, Doris' abuse as a child would not be a surprise.

(Guam child maltreatment rate of 76.81 per 1000 children based on 2012 CPS report and 2010 census vs 41.2 per 1000 children national average as per Table 3-2, Child Maltreatment 2011, Children’s Bureau, U.S. DPHHS)

    2. So if Doris was molested when she was a child, as she stated at the public hearing, is she planning to include the person(s) in the lawsuit ?

      Delete
    3. The lawsuit is not about the abuse, but about Apuron's and the Chancery's libel and slander of the victims.

      Delete
    4. ...and in Doris' case, she was particularly singled out, libeled and slandered, in the spokesmonkey's May 31 media statement.

  9. Hey Tim, is true that you almost got molested by priest, and the bishop who did nothing,is that why you got all this Hate!! hating the Bishop and the Church, turning his own people against him,hey you're doing a real good job.

    4. Archie Boo Boo, didn't the Secretary tell you before he left some long months ago to clean up your mess because it was unfair to your successor??? When did you intend to do it? Now you got Hon pissed and he's blaming us. Loser. How much more harm do you wish your flock? You aren't a shepherd who smells like his sheep. You just stink.

    5. Actually Anon 5:43 getting the people to hate AAA was Apuron's doing. In his life at least he was able to accomplish that, getting his own people to despise him. Wow, who said Apuron never accomplished anything? BTW 5:43 the only ones who do like him are your cult members. So "you can have him, you can keep him, he's too corrupt for me". You can sing that to a Polka beat if you want.

I totally agree with Joseph A. Santos - Apuron did this to himself and Anonymous July 6, 2016 at 5:43 PM - WHAT IS IT THAT YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND! We do not hate the Bishop, We Hate What He Did to Those Young Men and What He Has Done to the Catholic Churches on Guam! Tim had nothing to do with your comment "hating the Bishop and the Church, turning his own people against him" - APURON TURNED HIS OWN PEOPLE AGAINST HIM BECAUSE APURON TURNED AGAINST HIS OWN PEOPLE! Tim just exposed Apuron for what he really is! In Easier English so you can understand - The educated people are turning on apuron because apuron did this all on his own! He should take responsibility for what he has done and not have people like you stand up for him because you definitely do not make any sense.

And Please stop using the Church in your comments. We Are Not Against Our Catholic Churches! Apuron is NOT THE CHURCH so do not put apuron and the Catholic Church in the same sentence!

Lol you contradicted yourself in your last statement and used Archbishop Apuron and the Catholic Church in the same sentence .☺
A Freudian slip perhaps . Waking up to pray for unity ... sincerely.

    8. Anonymous July 9, 2016 at 6:48 AM - Explain to me how people can stop doing something if you do not tell them the something you want them to stop doing! The statement I was talking about is - "hating the Bishop and the Church" - which seems to very common in most of the comments posted! Since you are just waking up - Have A Great Blessed Day!

  12. pretty sure we probably will see archie after the world youth day... I wish Pope Francis can give a little insight on how the investigation is going. Tim, where you able to get a list of Neo-priest? I heard Fr. Jeff was in a community until he became the principle.

    1. Wasn't Father Jeff in the Third Order of Dominicans? I know he left when he was a boy to be a religious brother in PI. He has had so many different jobs. Too bad he can't just stay as principal. Tim, did you say he has not been taken from FD? No aviso?

    2. When the Neo was fresh, many clergy either walked in the Neo or started it at their parish, Capuchins too, and those who walked includes clergy who Apuron threatens and slanders today. They got out once they realized what it was.

    3. That's the key! They got out!!

  14. Here's the question I'd like an answer to: is the Vatican actually investigating at all yet? The Dungbats say yes, but if that's so, have the victims on Guam be approached, or questioned, or deposed, or contracts, or even gotten any word at all?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. If the Dungbat is saying "yes" then the Vatican is violating its own restrictions on confidentiality. But but on a more general note, recent history has shown that we cannot trust the Vatican to do anything administratively right. For 25 years, the horrible practices of Marcel Maciel were well known in the Vatican, but because he had friends in high places, including JP2, nothing was done. He remained protected. It was only after JP2 died that Benedict was able to stop the evils of Maciel. This is why we must address Apuron civilly. The Kiko's are many times more powerful than Maciel.
