ACTUALLY, FRANCES...

Some say the weekly Sunday protests in front of the cathedral are disrespectful. "I just think it's disgraceful," said Frances Portusach Hudgens. "What kind of Christians are these people?"

Actually, Frances, "these people" are the kind of Christians our Church needs to rid our sanctuaries of what Pope Benedict called "THE FILTH IN THE CHURCH."

You see, Frances, it is NOT okay for priests to molest and rape our children while we look away and then ten, twenty years later, bemoan another suicide.

You see, Frances, these are the kind of Christians who have historically risen up to defend their Church whenever the clergy has drifted into a death spiral of corruption.

You see, Frances, one need only know a simple history of the Catholic Church to know how many times this has happened. Every major heresy was begun by a priest (e.g. Arius, Luther) or a bishop (Nestorius).

You see, Frances, these are the kind of Christians that Guam needed decades ago. But instead of marching to publicly protest the FILTH IN THE CHURCH, people, maybe like yourself, only whispered at fiestas.

  1. Maybe Frances has a better way of doing it which she might like to share with us. Disrespectful? Fr. Paul waved at the people marching outside the cathedral enroute to his installation as rector. Fr. Jeff prayed the rosary outside the church while waiting for his mass to start while the people marched on. Disrespectful, I don't think so.

    3. ...and you, 4:58PM, have a direct link to God? Much truth about Abp Apuron's neglect and abandonment of our local Catholic Church, and much truth about Apuron's cooperation with the NCW's meddling and interfering in our local church affairs and swindling of our faithful's generous monetary contributions have been documented and publicly revealed and confirmed. Their deceptions have been unraveling. What would surely be sheer stupidity would be to continue denying the truth and continue a blind obedience to and a blind following of kiko's religion and his leaders on Guam.

  8. "...said Frances Portusach Hudgens. "What kind of Christians are these people?""

The kind of Christians who week after week put aside their normal routines, endure the heat and continue to march in the picket line to right the course of a Church that has been heading south for thirty years.

What kind of Christian are you, Frances?
