  2. Playing "devil's advocate" for a moment:

Your Honor, this is absolutely unfair. I played by the rules. I waited the appropriate amount of time prescribed by law and became totally immune from prosecution. The lifting of the statute of limitations took away my immunity and now I must answer for my crimes. This is not right.

    1. I hope the victims speak up and not allow brother tony to change his mind in entering negotiations since his trained lawyer opted to hold off leaving that possibility and dragging the case on longer rather then face it now. I really don't see how someone who "says" he's innocent would prefer to run and hide. But then again, we are talking about a neoidiot who was greedy.

Wonder what became of his fancy car he use to drive.... Hmmmm?

  3. How interesting, changes in the Catholic Church becomes approved without Pope Francis's signature.

Pope Francis: Priests proven to have abused minors cannot appeal

"Having listened to abuse survivors and having made what he described as a mistake in approving a more lenient set of sanctions against an Italian priest abuser, the pope said he has decided whoever has been proven guilty of abuse has no right to an appeal, and he will never grant a papal pardon. “Whoever has been condemned for the sexual abuse of minors can appeal to the pope for a pardon,” he said, but “I have never signed one of these and I never will. I hope that is clear!"~Pope Francis.

  5. Francis doesn't have go be bothered with appeals. All he has to do is follow centuries of rotten Vatican tradition and let the guilty languish suspended, unpunished and ignored until they croak. He made that empty statement because the spineless canonical tribunal is stymied over everything They're faced with, starting with Apuron.

    1. The tribunal did it's job. The hold up is at the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith to which the results of the trial have been given.
