FINALLY SOMEONE SAYS WHAT EVERYONE SEES

  1. Tim,
I "used" to walk in the way. I did for a while but found it to really be a club of young adults who used it as a social gathering and opportunities to travel all over the world. It was quite sad actually. They appeared to be lost youth and many of them appeared to have inappropriate closeness with the seminarians who later would become priests. It made me and my wife both very uncomfortable. Many are not happy with the Neo movement simply because of the unknown and the way certain practices are carried out. Too bad for us we never got a true feeling for whether it was right for us as we were instead subjected to this bizarre social gathering of young adults especially the single girls and their obsession with the seminarians. Probably all just school girl crushes but honestly I can't stand listening and reading to these people knowing that they appear to be there simply for the social interaction and not truly trying to gain the Holy Spirit in their lives. Who knows what could have been for my family but I am happy we are done walking and won't ever be looking back.

  1. OK Gross, but yes very believable from the looks of this pic. What kind of priest poses like that? Could he turn his nose up any higher in pride? I could see straight through his nostrils into his neo-brain. I've never seen our Guam-born priests look like this. Edivaldo also comes across like this snotty douchebag in person (shudder). SNAP SNAPPITY SNAP SNAP!

    1. Hs pose conveys vanity, arrogance, and an air of superiority. He's looking down at the rest of us who are not Neos. He only looks up to his Neo superiors with his nose close to their behinds.

    2. Come on people! How can you portray Father Edjivaldo "... conveys vanity, arrogance, air of superiority." He is a Priest... God's servant. Don't mock God. Father Edjivaldo's personality was created by God. He loves God very much. He is humble, assertive, zealous in his preaching... listen to his homilies...I have... and I heard encouragement that God loves me. STOP! BASTA! God loves you too.

    3. A picture paints a thousand words! How do you see the previous picture? I saw it as an ordinary man full of arrogance with the look of I AM THE ONE! I didn't see any priestly look in the previous photo posted. Everyone sing ""Macho, Macho, Macho Man!" Clap...clap

  2. I have to agree with this person. There are a considerable amount of middle-aged men and women in the Neo communities, but there are also definitely many young adults who display a lot of obnoxious and questionable behavior. They do enjoy claiming that the Neo has "saved their lives" and "bears many fruit" but it should be noted that their understanding of authentic Catholicism is quite flawed. They have no real sense of venial or mortal sin and when they say "I am a sinner" no real sincere remorse is displayed. I know so many young adults in the Neo who still lead extremely sinful lifestyles and who give testimony to such lifestyles in their "echoes". The entire ordeal is quite disturbing and not even the priests do anything about it. More reason for me to separate myself from their ways.

    1. The Neo leaders recruit the young and impressionable, those lacking intellectual and emotional maturity. They also attract those who are burdened with guilt for sins they've committed (adultery, divorce, sexual abuse, etc.) that destroyed lives. Those who are weak in faith also fall for the Neo way because of the sense of "community" with all the clapping and holding of hands. The leaders of the Neos know this and will exhort their minions to "spread the word". In reality, Neos are following a false "prophet" (Kiko)instead of Jesus Christ who built his Church with the apostle Peter as the foundation.

    2. In my echo soon to be published here, there is the humiliation and insults thrown at one's face without anyone present defending you and your integrity. Without anyone defending me or speaking up in my behalf, I was judged and thrown into the fires of hell. Words spoken by Neo Priests, responsibles, catechists, and the sort, are held as "Sacred Words"...it becomes the Gospel Truth for them.

    3. So it's okay when someone in the neo (catechists, responsibles, neo-priests) says something uncharitable towards its members and former members, but if you turn around and question them, it is seen as persecution and disobedience? This is insane.

  3. Neos are teaching religion and CCD in our communities. I wouldn't be surprised to find out they're indoctrinating the children to walk in the Way. Non neo parents must look into this.

  4. Correction - Neos are RECRUITING in the CCD programs. They are not teaching. In agat Mt.Carmel they are really pressuring the kids.

    1. This is bad, because they will not be allowed to receive their First Holy Communion/Confirmation if they do not attend. They have the RMS and the CCD, the only way to stop this is to remove Arch Tony and replace him with a Arch who will ensure proper teachings.

I suggest that we stop giving money to the Church until the Vatican takes action to correct the problems; even if it is a non neo parish. It will work in the long run.

    2. My son goes to Father Duenas and the kids are really concerned that there will be an attempt to replace Father Jeff with a neo priest. We must project our children

    3. Please don't stop your support of your parish especially programs like the CCD/RCIA, or parish programs that help the poor and afflicted. You may still give your support by specifically identifying where you would like your contributions to go, e.g, GPA, GWA, or directly to the program you want to give to. Most parish CCD & RCIA programs are funded through their registration fees, donations, and further support from the parish budget, which diminishes if parishioners stop their support. For some parishes, those registration fees aren't reflective of the actual cost needed to run the program, therefore they probably rely heavily on supplemental funding through the parish budget and benefactors. In our parish for example, no family is turned away because of an inability to meet the registration fee requirement. All is determined on a case by case basis and we also encourage parishioners to sponsor CCD students each year.

    4. @ 9:01,

I understand your intent, but there is a problem if the Neos are using it as a recruiting ground for their movement. They are the future of our church and the Neos know it. It's a double whammy if the control the seminary and the CCD. and it's almost a guarantee that the neo priests will staff the CCD with neo teachers. Again, I believe that it will take a drastic change, such as underfunding of these programs, to catch the attention of the Vatican, if all else fails. Any kind of financial support will be in some way directed to the neo cause as long as Tony Apuron holds the title of Archbishop.

  5. Did the AB really leave to Rome or someplace else now that Catholic Sexual Abuse Survivors are standng very close together these days and pushing real hard to get this AB defrocked? All Ray Cepeda has to do is send a note to Rome and spill the beans of the coverup!

  7. Tim, I am almost at the tail end of my story. As I had posted on Diana's page, which she didn't post...I am going to "echo" the crosses I carry so I can set my soul free. I will somehow find your email somewhere here in the jungle. Please allow me a day or two to complete and edit it.

  8. CATHOLICS ON GUAM. WAKE UP!!! Our church is being under attack from within. This Neo-Catechumenal Way is changing how we conduct our faith. It's moving at a quick pace so the Bishop can remove all that stand in his way. Don't let your parish be a victim of Neo. Stand by your priest and say NO to the Neo way. Oh and one more thing. Apuron needs to go. He doesn't have the best interest of our Catholic faith and the people of Guam.

  9. They will never come to Saint Jude. That is why we only contribute to the Capuchins.

    1. It doesn't matter. Apuron will take down the Capuchins too. That's why you all need to move NOW, and do more than just leave anonymous comments on this blog. It is time for the real power of the parishes to stand up and against Apuron: the Christian Mothers, the Knights. Will they? If not, your parish will soon be Neo too.
