• Many thanks for the recent donations to support the blog. As a thank you to everyone who has supported the blog I would like to send you complimentary hard copies of both of my books, Target equals Priest and Why I Am Catholic. If I don't have your mailing address I will be contacting you. If you happen to already have copies, feel free to give them away. Again, thank you.

• Yesterday, we passed 1.9 million. Pageviews continue to average nearly 10,000 per day, with the most recent highest day being January 5 with 14,970 hits.

• Tim Rohr will be on THE BUZZ with Jesse Lujan, tonight, 6:30pm on KUAM.

• Pacific News Center story on Tim Rohr's appointment with the apostolic visitors.

• Tim Rohr with Patti Arroyo on K57, Tuesday, 1/13/15.

• Most news stories are filed under the Media Stories tab above.

• Please try to elevate the comments. As you can see I put a lot of work and research into my posts in order to keep this blog credible. Please try to do the same with your comments. Also, may I recommend that you first compose your comments in an app that is easily editable. Then review, copy, and paste to the comment box. We don't want to look like "Diana's" blog.

• The CCOG has gathered over 3000 signatures for its petition. These were delivered to the apostolic visitors. More signatures continue to pour in and the count is now nearly 4000. Please visit the CCOG website if you would like to sign as well.

• I think these people, and the others who gathered for prayer during the week, accomplished more in a few hours than I have done in a year and a half of blogging. Remain vigilant and prayerful:

Prayer walk: About 50 Catholics gathered for "A Peaceful and Prayerful Walk" organized by Dwayne Santos on Jan. 7. Saying prayers, the group walked from the field across from St. Anthony/St. Victor Catholic Church to the Carmelite Monastery in Tamuning. Masako Watanabe/Pacific Daily News/mwatanabe@guampdn.com

  5. The these people and others who gathered in prayer and who accomplished more in a few hours than a year and a half of your blogging. Could not have accomplished what did manage to do and will do if it had not been for your constant daily input of a totally bizarre unbelievable tirade of events that no morally normal person would ever believe. You have literally accomplished something extraordinary. You have been the instrument that has changed the mindset of thousands of Catholics on the island of Guam. Through million of words, day after day you chunked down sentences one word at a time. Fearless you revealed truth. This is the one slow tedious action that was required to erode away the generations of fear years from speaking up about the church. You literally mentored thousands of others to do something against their cultural ways. But something they knew that was honorable and right in their hearts and minds. You can die peacefully knowing you did something that made a difference. This is a very blessed time for Guam as 400 years of fear and oppression is being released for the greater good. Real respect for human rights and justice. A God of love is transforming Guam's Catholic from fear to courage. To walk one with God for the greater good of all. It is a beautiful thing knowing this adversity has help people embrace their faith and renew their relationship with God and become Catholics. Amazing Process. So THANK YOU one word at a time.

  7. When the Neocatechumenal Way started on Guam, altogether, we became victims. How it led us and continue to lead us in a spiritual warfare between each other. May it's story to the end go down in Guam's history books. It will also show that it took a lay person, and a non Chamorro Man to rise up, defend God's Church, warning us if we take delight in the way. Incredible!
    Tim, thank you!
And to you're family, thank you too!

  8. Many groups have wanted to be instrumental in guiding the Catholics of Guam in their faith through history. Just 105 years ago the Catholics of Guam found themselves having to petition the Vatican (thepacificaps.com). Although the issue then may not have been as contentious, since it was about whether German or Spanish Capuchins would guide the Catholics of Guam, the Catholic community united together to petition both Rome and the United States government for what they believed in and thought was best for them. Once again history is repeating itself. The unity of the Catholics of Guam and the Chamarro spirit has contributed to the strong Catholic faith in Guam. Many prayers for those leading this fight.
