UPDATE ON PRAYERS AT THE SPIRITUAL CENTER

A group of laity met today at St. Anthony Church to pray during the clergy meeting with the apostolic visitors in the Spiritual Center. Here's what happened at the end.

Received this from an attendee:

UNBELIEVABLE! To avoid the group gathered outside the St. Anthony Spiritual Center, they had the delegates leave by an alternate route. We've been prayerful and respectful. Btw - if you go to Dwayne Santos's FB page, you'll see AAA running out the back door. In a previous comment, we were so scary with our umbrellas and rosaries. WHY are they going to such lengths to avoid us?

  1. I was there and I was glad I went. We were very respectful and very prayerful. We said more rosaries than the Dawn Rosary group says on First Saturday! Yes, I was nearing my car when I saw the Archbishop running out the back way. That is when I assumed that the delegation had already left also. It is okay. They knew we were there and that we were peacefully praying. I can't make the gathering tonight but I my hearts will be with them.

Thank you all the organizers who put us together. I have seen many new faces because now I can see people from other parishes from all over. I am glad to have met them.

  2. To be clear, AAA came in through the front door of the carport. When it was understood that the meeting had concluded, people lined the driveway and sang hymns. It started raining so some went under the carport. It was probably then that he decided to duck out the back. However, some priest had the confidence to come out the same door they entered and greeted the laity.

Also, some of the newer priests were let in by a side door, avoiding the group of people reciting the prayer. I say let in because someone from the inside had to open the door to let them in. They must have followed suit out the back as they didn't come by the way they went in.

The priest that did come out thanked the people praying.

  3. Those who led the delegation out the back way, away from the respectful, praying crowd of fellow Catholics had something on their minds -- a guilty conscience, maybe?

    1. It has been in my experience that if a person displays any form of deception or in anyway, attempts to avoid people, there is something quite out of line. In this case of running out the back door, something is really amiss. And you call yourself our spiritual leader? You do not have the gonads to face the people and expect us to blindly go where you tell us or to do what you tell us???

    2. AAA does not feel guilty about anything because he believes, among other things, that he is UNTOUCHABLE. Soon to be.released his CD featuring his rendition of M.C. Hammer's "Can't Touch This". Place your orders now with Ms. Corrine at the CB pastoral center.

  4. There was a short piece on the prayer on KUAM. You can see Archbishop Krebs living through the front door. A young Man actually held the door when he left. He was carrying a heavy bag

  5. Thank you to all those who came to pray with us and unite as a Catholic family. Even though our public prayer gatherings have concluded, please continue to pray for our church, our church leaders, our pastors, and those committed to a religious life. I want to especially thank Mother Superior for generously opening up the Carmelite Monastery so that we could pray in the chapel. She could have easily closed the gates and denied us entry, but she chose to follow her conscience and welcome us. Like many of you, I sincerely hope that our pleas are answered, and we can find peace and healing.

Here's the link to our interview on KUAM.

  6. Wow the Archbishop must be living in fear. He has been dodging the laity and the media since the issues have been brought to light. How can anybody continue to live like this? At least we know that the pressure is on him and he will finally taste his words of " a painful and arduous closure to his assignment"

Mother Dawn is an inspiration to many. A wonderful example of a religious woman In the church today. May the Lord continue to Bless her and all the sisters of the monastery.

  9. It looks like he was running in the first picture. The question is, is he running from us (the faithful Catholics in communion with the Pope) or the rain? I say both.

  10. So you only car that they see you praying? And not the prayer itself? Lol putting on a show.

    5. As someone who WAS there PRAYING, I know the intentions in my heart. We were there to show UNITY for our church and to PRAY about what's been happening. WHO are YOU to JUDGE me? But I suspect, like many of your Neo brethren, judging others is what you inherently do, which goes against what are taught in the Bible. Shame on you!

    6. Anonymous 9:22 I'm pretty sure your mother prays too. She must be praying for show too.

  11. Anon 9:22, "So you only car..." WTH are you trying to say? Never mind, just useless drivel. A parrot on the loose. Learn English them come back in another life time, please.
I am planning to write a book. See AAA run. See AAA run from ladies in wheel chairs. Scary, because they are praying!! Go bishop go. Okay, I need more material. Build bridges, build bridges, burn bridges. Same thing as alienation and what's the other word for give away $75 million dollars? Darn, I am starting to ramble like a Neo.

  12. I hope the door didn't hit AAA on his way out. Doors are expensive to replace.

  13. Anon 9:22PM you clearly become BOLD going public with your judgment about individuals' prayer intentions and motivations when you hide behind the cloak of anonimity!

What other judgmental facts about the hearts and souls of those individuals who congrated do you have?

  15. This is directed to the more radical and vocal NCW members- for folks who always cry "persecution"- slipping out back doors, running away, secret gatherings isn't very brave or courages what did you think laity with rosaries and umbrellas would do to you?

Ask the Syrians Christians, Iraqis and Chinese what religious persecution is. Don't ever compare yourself to their struggle. We are not a "mission" so stop pretending we are. The push back you feel is because you are greedy, power hungry, and pompous.

    1. Oh, but they did have a good reason for running and for being afraid! Those "weapons" (and no, not the umbrellas!) they were carrying can be pretty lethal! WHACK! WHACK! SQUASH! STOMP! Satan flees! Their rosaries, their weapons; with The Blessed Mother leading the way! OUR MAMA WEARS COMBAT BOOTS! Praise God!

  16. All of us were there simply to pray for unity and to restore peace in our archdiocese. Despite the rain, it was peaceful. I saw our archbishop as he was walking in. I'm not a neo member, however I felt dire sadness. This was not a group or service against the archbishop and without question most certainly not against the church.

    Dear Archbishop,
Many of us want to love you (many of whom are not neo members) we need you, please buck up, stop being a marionette for those people and lead us, your people, your family. That is mostly what many are asking and not against you. Many of us at the prayer service were praying for you, too. Despite the pressing issues at hand, many of us feel that most of these issues are due in part to you not acting in the capacity of your important role as our Archbishop. As our good church teaches us, our faith is in God and not in man, but you are owed respect because of your role. We want to trust and love our church leader. Can't you see your people need you? We're hurting. Please stop hurting us. God always makes good from bad.

These pictures posted are not nice to look at. They don't make you feel good. It was raining. When I saw these pictures, I thought perhaps the archbishop feels we don't love him or maybe we embarrassed him. Far from our intention to gather and pray there. I also thought about the parable of Mary Magdalene. "Let the first with out sin cast the first..." I've been reading junglewatch for quite some time now. The pictures on this particular post is just data. With much data, supporting documents, and many of the posts refer to canon law, this is not a hate blog; it is informative.

My biggest concern is that many faithful hearts will be broken if the Neocatechumenal way pushes themselves into our parishes. And we regular Catholics will be forced to practice the standard Catholic way of worship differently from the rest of the Catholics throughout the world.

The faithful will continue to pray.
    Jesus we trust in you.
